> took you 2 months to convince her she shouldn't try to hug the sparks
> one day, be working in your basement on a new fountain
> fluffy pony runs down stairs
> "fwuffy wan pway!"
> "not now, I'm doing work"
> "daddy make pwetty colows?"
> "oh yes, this one will make a big sparkling rainbow, with every color you can imagine"
> fluffy's eyes grow big upon hearing this

> trips twice
> you take a second to sigh deeply, and then go after her
> she's sitting against the fence in front of the fireplace, crying softly
> you ask her why she literally ate your work
> "fwuffy wike pwetty colows..."
> she turns her head to you
> "fwuffy wan' to hav' pwetty wainbow colows too!"

> the fuse is lit
