Anon The Driller - 1

>Digging tunnels day after day.
>That was your job.
>The more you dig, the more the village can expand.
>When the village mayor was happy, she would let you eat cake and have other nice treats.
>Cake was rare, down underground.
>But, you didn't exactly dig for the cake...


~~Enter Anon the Driller~~
>It was small and cramped.
>Soil surrounded you with its earthy embrace.
>Armed with your drill, you dug vertically.
>Hours and hours on end.
>With the light in your goggles to help you see, you dug.
>You stop your drill as soon as you felt something unusually hard.
>What could it be?
>You stop and take a closer look at... Some Kind of object?
>The earth was glowing.
>You scrape the dirt around it.
>It seemed to have been some sort of... small talon?
>The end was sharp...
>You jam the object into your pocket and drilled your way out, back to the village.
>The entire time on your way back, you kept thinking of the small talon thing...

>"Come on everyp0ny! Keep digging! Don't you want some cake or something?!"
>You can feel the exit close by.
>Mayor Mare’s voice can be heard clearly.
>Suddenly, you fell to the ground.
>You quickly recover, and continued to walk onwards.
>"Hey! Why can't any of you ponies dig like Anon here! ... Anon? Anon?"
>Not wanting to have ANOTHER talk with Mayor Mare, you picked up the pace.
>You took out the talon in your pocket.
>With better lighting now, you can see that it was grey.
>It had a small hole on the larger end...
>You fasten a small knot in it and make it into a necklace with the piece of yarn you had.

>You hold it up, admiring what you had dug up..
>Behind the talon, you see two p0nies.
>”Ew look, its Anon the Digger!” The silver one whispered loudly.
>”I don’t get it, what's the fun in getting covered in dirt day after day?” The light pink one said with a cocky smirk.
>”And he’s carrying something weird too!”
>”He is so gross..”
>”And he SMELLS!”
>”He’s looking at us...”
>”If we're not careful, he might drill a hole in us too, ha!”
>”haha!”
>The two ponies make their way off, insulting and laughing at you with each step.

>You looked down.
>...
>You began to sulk and drag your feet.
>...
>An abrupt stop was made, when you bumped into somep0ny.
>”Walk with your head held high, Anonymous!”
>That voice.
>You look up.
RainbowDash.
>She looks at you with a silly smile.
>”Don’t call me that Anon, call me Sis!”
>You look back down.
Um... I'm the only human... And don’t have any siblings...
>Before you knew it, she made her way around you.
>She slaps you on the back with her hoof.
>”Hey, its not about blood or species! You and me are soul siblings, ya know? We are siblings of the spirit! Don’t worry about what those stupid ugly p0nies say.”
>She snatches the talon out of your hands.
>”Hey... This looks pretty good on ya!”
>She throws it around your neck.
>”Drills are you soul! Ya got it? Now, come on...”
>You never really saw the talon as a drill...
>With further examination, it did have a purple-glowing spiral...

>RainbowDash cuts a rope, and steps over the “DO NOT ENTER” sign.
>”Gentlecolts, sorry for the delay. Are you ready?!”
>”Just about!”
Um... What is it your doing?
>RainbowDash wraps her hoof around you.
>”Listen up Anon, that drill doesn’t belong to the village mayor, because that drill makes you for who you are.”
>RainbowDash points her hoof up.
>”ANON! Yours is the drill that will pierce the heavens!”
But... Why...?
>”Don't worry, I have it all figured out! Don’t ask questions.”
Meaning, you can’t explain anything about it...
>She tosses you to the other ponies.
>”ALRIGHT YOU BOZOS, WE READY TO GO?!”
>”YEAH!” The other 3 ponies screamed.
>”We’re the invincible team Gurren! Nop0ny can stand in our way!”
>Where did she come up with that name?
>”Uh... Yeah...!”
>”We’re sick of being cooped up in this little village, its young who are gonna break out! P0NIES OF THIS VILLAGE, AIM FOR THE SURFACE!”

>The village was silently working.
>Ponies moving water.
>Stallions pushing boulders around.
>Foals and Fillies digging holes.
>A small noise can be heard.
>Ponies looked up and around, trying to identify where the noise was coming from.
>You and Rainbow were riding on top of a flock of Parasprites.
>A wave of color swoops past the ponies, who duck and cover benight you.
>” Move, move, MOVE! Team Gurren comin through!”
>Rainbow Dash flares out her wings.
>You always take a second and admire her large wings.
>Her wings, a pegasus’s wings where their pride.
>RainbowDash holds tight to your back with her hind legs.
>You clutch your drill firmly.
>The Parasprites were flying together, with you in the front.
H-hey, what are we going to do?!
>”Listen up, Anon! We're smashing that roof with your drill!
>RainbowDash points up with both her hoof and wing.
>”Once we burst through that, we'll be above ground! We'll make it to the surface in one shot!”
>You begin to tremble.
THIS IS CRAZY!
>”YOU CAN DO IT!”

>Another group of parasprites was heading straight towards you.
>”GO! Just keep going straight!”
>The parasprites collide with each other, forming a spiral, launching you and Rainbow up.
>It was then, you can see Mayor Mare standing on a platform overhead.
>”What in the hay?! RAINBOW! I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN IT WAS YOU!”
>”Move it or lose it Mayor!”
>The mayor extends both her hooves and clothed lined both of you.
>”IDIOTS!”
>And like that, you were out.
>All you could remember was RainbowDash... Mayor Mare... And a whole lot of parasprites...
>This is for the best, right?
>Who knows what could have happened if you hit that ceiling...
