[22:18] <Mira_Severn> About two hours later than it was expected, Mira's train from Paris (or wherever she flew into from Toronto) finally arrives. The hold-up is entirely NERV's fault, like pretty much everything else that goes on in Mont-Dore anymore: Something on the train set off a false positive and put security on high alert until the mistake was discovered, setting just a great mood for the Fifth Children's first day. After everyone else has exited, she shuffles out, rolling a single suitcase behind her. She's dressed in a long brown coat with a red turtleneck underneath, OH BOYYYY.
[22:21] * Christiane_Girardin then looks at the picture in the file she was given, "Redacted.. Redacted.. She's cute," the woman laughed, her sunglasses hiding her eyes as she saw her charge. "Hi!" she said to the girl, "I'm Christina, you are Mira, right?" She smiled at the girl, "Welcome to Mont-Dore."
[22:24] <Christiane_Girardin> Her smile seemed quite bright for someone who seemed to have been waiting for a few hours, the nun actually wearing her proper habit out in public, the black dress making her seem almost like the muslims who worked around the inner city.
[22:28] * Mira_Severn didn't actually stop until after Christine had finished talking. The brunette girl sloooowly turned around, head slightly tilted, face blank. "Hello." She veeeeeeery slowly gave the slightest of smiles. "You are Captain Girardin?"
[22:30] <Christiane_Girardin> "Yes," she gave Mira a huge hug, "You are going to be my new roomate!" she smiled, "But first you need to eat. You look too pale, and if you don't Eat, you won't be able to pilot..
[22:33] <Mira_Severn> "Wha-AAAAHH!!" Mira flinched at the hug, then sloooowly returned it. "I...see. I understand. I don't want to be a bother, though. Please do not go out of your way for my sake."
[22:35] <Christiane_Girardin> "You aren't," she smiled, "Now lets go, and do you like kabob?" she asked, walking Mira to her car, a black executive machine. "How was the trip?"
[22:38] <Mira_Severn> "I have never had it before. The trip was fine, but there was a security problem entering the town." With some effort, Mira succeeds in loading her luggage into the car's trunk by herself. "Sonething about blue blood. I was supposed to inform you when I arrived. I'm sorry I didn't bring it up before." She closed the trunk and opened the rear door for herself, on the passenger side. "I understand I will be fighting the Angels? How, exactly?"
[22:40] * Christiane_Girardin then open the door for Mira, as she got in the car herself, as she closed it after the girl, and started driving, "You will be piloting a machine called Evangelion. They are the ultimate weapon against the angels.."
[22:42] <Mira_Severn> "I'm sorry. I should have gotten the door myself." Mira nods, looking towards Christine with her full attention. "Evangelion." She repeats the word. "I've seen them on TV."
[22:44] <Christiane_Girardin> "Now you will be the star of the show," she said, "Read the folder next to you, and what do you like more, beef or chicken?"
[22:45] * Mira_Severn opens the folder and begins reading. A smile slowly forms. "Chicken would be preferred, but I will eat whatever you want me to. Thank you, Captain Girardin."
[22:46] <Christiane_Girardin> "..Listen," she said, "Call me Christiane, ok, think of me .. as your big sister," she said, finally stopping at a van on the side of the road, parking in front of it, "Lets get some Kabob.."
[22:47] <Mira_Severn> "Alright." She gets out and stares at the van, confused. "Sister...right. Okay."
[22:52] <Christiane_Girardin> "Hey," she said to the owner, "Get me 2 chicken kabobs," to the man, who laughed and after some time, handed her the two, "Mira, try it, its good and I don't think they have these in Canada.."
[22:53] * Mira_Severn takes her dinner (?) and nibbles on the edge of it. After two or three seconds, she starts eating it normally. Apparently she likes it!
[22:54] <Christiane_Girardin> "Ha, you are going to love my curry," she said, "Isn't it nice to just sit here and eat a nice snack?"
[22:58] <Mira_Severn> "It...is." She sits on the nearby bench, then motions to the seat next to her. "Is that...what you meant? I'm sorry."
[23:01] <Christiane_Girardin> "Its ok," she said, patting Mira's head, "Well, I just wanted to make sure you were OK in this city, I know sometimes its lonely.." she looked up, "But we can work together, and defeat the Angels. ok?"
[23:08] <Mira_Severn> "Oh! I'm sorry! Y-yes, I understand. Thank you, Christiane." The girl finally looks up and around the city, "It's much nicer than Toronto. I will do my best to defeat the Angels."
[23:09] * Christiane_Girardin then starts up, after helping Mira in the car, "So, what was school like back at home?"
[23:12] <Mira_Severn> "I'm not sure how to answer that. I did my schoolwork and left people alone. I did not have many friends."
[23:13] <Christiane_Girardin> "Well I hope you can make some here," she said, "I might have to sign you up for clubs at the School.. do you like anything at all?"
[23:13] <Mira_Severn> "Reading. Computers. Swimming, sometimes. Not often."
[23:15] <Christiane_Girardin> "Then I will have you read some of my books," she said, "Have you read the Communist Manifesto?"

[23:20] * Mira_Severn blinks slowly. "...That might be interesting. I would have to think about it." She actually, finally smiles genuinely, overwhelemed with excitement! "Thank you -very- much, Christiane!"
[23:22] <Christiane_Girardin> "I'm your big sister, I have to help you," she said, finally reaching the School and the Dormatories. "Make sure to study hard Mira..
[23:23] <Mira_Severn> "You're taking this seriously." Mira stares out at the school as something catches her eye. "I always do."
[23:25] <Christiane_Girardin> "I take anyone who is part of my family seriously," she said, parking, "Now let me take you to your room
[23:26] <Mira_Severn> "I thought you said we were roommates. This is the school, though...?"
[23:27] <Christiane_Girardin> "I teach," she said, "We share the same room, I made the arrangements because some students I would like to keep an eye on.."
[23:28] <Mira_Severn> "Was that supposed to be as ominous as it was?" She gets out of the car and pops the trunk, struggling with her bags again.
[23:30] <Christiane_Girardin> "I'm always omninous.."
[23:31] <Mira_Severn> "That was not helpful."
[23:32] <Christiane_Girardin> "So, science.. do you want to be a researcher after all of this?"
[23:33] <Mira_Severn> "Possibly. I haven't thought about it. I guess if I could do some good for people, that would be eenough."
[23:34] * Christiane_Girardin hugs Mira again. "You.. god has blessed you child.."
[23:34] * Mira_Severn almost falls over again! "Aaah! What...where did that come from?!"
[23:36] <Christiane_Girardin> "You want to help people, that is a sign that God has blessed you."
[23:37] <Mira_Severn> "Just a sign that I know what it's like to be hurt."
