  1. GUN RUNNER SETUP:
  2.
  3. The Gun Runner setup is a game that generally has some Villagers, an Agent, and, of course, an Arms Dealer.
  4.
  5. The concept is that all of the players are trapped somewhere (the host will generally decide where) and are trapped in a game of Russian Roulette... Except, it's a bit different.
  6.
  7. Each night, the Arms Dealer will give out a gun. The person who receives the gun must, on the next day, kill someone with it.
  8.
  9. However, before you go thinking you can be a martyr and sacrifice yourself... That's against the rules. The exact consequences will be defined in each setting... But, rest assured, it will always be gruesome and unpleasant for the people you've left behind, so don't try it.
  10.
  11. (This is just a plot-relevant excuse for the fact that gun suicide isn't possible in game)
  12.
  13. A BRIEF GUIDE TO EACH ROLE...
  14.
  15. Telepath (Yellow shirt, no hat): You're just an ordinary player! You get to make a character to your whims, but be careful, 'cause you might die. Unfortunately, that's one of the facts of life when it comes to colormaf games. Don't let that stop you from having fun, though!
  16.
  17. Arms Dealer (Black Shirt): You get to play the bad guy, congrats! Be in contact with the Agent, and remember to be fair when giving out guns! Also, be ready for the fact that you may get revealed. You start out with a vest, but no one else does, so if you get shot and live, everyone will know it was you! You have two meetings: Shady Dealings, and Sabotage. The Dealings meeting will give real guns, whereas the Sabotage meeting will give a broken one. ONLY USE THE SABOTAGE MEETING WHEN A CONTRACT HAS BEEN SENT. Otherwise, make sure to select no-one!
  18.
  19. Agent (Yellow Shirt, with hat): You're the host! You can anonymously message the Arms Dealer, so be sure to keep in touch~ You should also out yourself for the purpose of contracts.
  20.
  21. If you have a gun...
  22. -Make sure to not just randomly shoot someone! At least, before you shoot have /some/ preamble, like at least a "Blue pulls out the gun!" or something like that. Also, make sure the person your shooting is okay with dying! They might want to keep going, and taking them out then might just be... Uncool.
  23.
  24. However, sometimes you should let your character die, so don't take this as an excuse to let your character survive every game! In fact, RP-ing out deaths can be a lot of fun, and you can get a lot of good character development out of it. Besides, who doesn't like a tragic and dramatic character death every now and then ;)
  25.
  26. About Contracts...
  27. -Contracts are the twist to this game. The agent is usually in charge of these, due to their ability to message the Arms Dealer. Using their 'telepath' ability, players can message their contracts completely anonymously to the host.
  28.
  29. So what are contracts? Well, more specifically, they are killing contracts. If you call a contract on another player, that night, the Arms Dealer will not give them a normal gun, but a broken one in the Sabotage meeting. A broken gun will blow up in the shooters face, and they will die.
  30.
  31. If you wish to call in a contract, send a request through the telepathy skill (NOT THROUGH WHISPERING!!!) and remember, STAY ANONYMOUS!
  32.
  33. If you, as the agent, receive multiple contracts from different people, choose only one for that night. Try to be fair about which one you choose.
  34.
  35. Good luck, and try not to get shot.
