The purpose of the Twitter storm is to show support and solidarity with CAGE. CAGE have courageously put forward the credible view that state sanctioned harassment and abuse can be a major radicalisation factor for some Muslims, amongst other factors. For highlighting this, CAGE has become the target of a vicious campaign by govt and media to discredit them.

CAGE are a civil liberties advocacy group for the victims of the 'War on Terror', exposing govt abuses ranging from longterm harassment of Muslims to outright torture.

The media attacks on CAGE are based on fabrication, manipulating the truth and deception #IAmCage
