PMDG 777 TCAS & Crazy Gauges Fix by ThumperJoe

1.) Create a folder in a location of your choosing , just don't create it inside your fsx folder.
2.) Inside that folder create 2 more and call them something like Original and Patched.
3.) Move the original PMDG_777X.dll to the Original folder and move the cracked PMDG_777X.dll (by max.connor) to the Patched folder.
4.) Make sure that you don't have any more copies of PMDG_777X.dll anywhere in your fsx root or gauges folder.
5.) COPY the cracked PMDG_777X.dll to your gauges folder ONLY.
6.) Start FSX. After FSX is loaded, click "change" and select the 777. After it loads and you see the preveiw of the plane.........
7.) STOP! DON'T DO ANYTHING ELSE IN FSX UNTIL YOU DO THE NEXT 2 STEPS.
8.) Open your FSX folder and MOVE the cracked dll out of the gauges folder and into the FSX root folder.
9.) COPY the original PMDG_777X.dll to your gauges folder.

[B]NOTE[/B]: Obviously it goes without saying that each time you start and load the 777, you will have to start with the cracked
dll in your gauges folder and not in your FSX root.

PMDG 777 Landing Gears Fix by ThumperJoe

1.) Go to Your_User_Profile/AppData/Roaming/Microsoft/FSX/Controls.
2.) Right click on Standard.XML choose edit.
3.) After NotePad opens the XML, Find this entry:

CAPTURE_SCREENSHOT

4.)And Change it to this:

V
GEAR_SET

Obviously you will no longer have a key to capture a sreenshot anymore.
You can choose any key you like.

5.) Save Standard.XML and close it.
6.) Launch FSX and load the 777.
7.) After take off, press "G" as you would normally do to toggle gear handle to the up position.
Then press "V" to execute the raising of the gear.
