- Here's a rough list of Energy-Damage ratios (for attacks with no useful effect):
- 1 C: 10
- 1 Typed: 20
- 2 C: 20
- Typed + C: 30
- 2 Typed: 30
- 2 different Types: 40
- 3C: 40
- Typed + 2C: 50
- 2 Typed + C: 50
- 2 different Types + C: 60
- 3 Typed: 70
- 3 different Types: 80
- Subtract -10 for attacks with a beneficial effect
- Add +10 for each Evolution
- Add +10 for attacks with a drawback
- Anyone else think maybe we should make some kind of guideline for making the Pokemon HP more consistent? We have some bulky and frail stage 2s and i think itd b better if it was a little more consistent.
- Something along the lines of:
- Baby Pokemon - 30HP
- Piss weak mons - 30-50HP
- average basics that will evolve - 40-60HP
- Single stage or pixie 60-80HP
- Legendary non pixie 80-120HP
- Piss weak midstage s1 50-70HP
- Midstage s1 70-90HP
- Fully evolved s1 70-100HP
- Piss weak s2 (bugs etc) 70-100HP
- Normal s2 100-120HP
- Pseudo Legendaries 110-120HP
- or
- Baby: 40 (too many donks for 30, so it's probably better to treat them as weak basics)
- Basic w/ Evo: 40-60
- Basic w/o Evo: 60-100
- Stage 1 w/ Evo: 60-80
- Stage 1 w/o Evo: 70-90
- Stage 2: 80-120
- Legendary: 90-120
- Psuedo Legend: 80-100
- If there's something like Wailord, HP can be higher. It's probably a good rule of thumb to increase retreat cost if HP is on the higher end of its range.
