  1. Yvenn is a vampire that was turned against his will and is trying to do the best he can to survive despite it. He knows that if he dies he will go to Coldharbor to be tortured for all eternity, so he continues to carry on while trying to stick to his personal principles. He can often be found traveling from town to town, always careful to be one step ahead of the bands of hunters that patrol the province. He has a fair amount of knowledge of the various clan territories and their levels of hostility toward outsiders thanks to the teachings of a relatively friendly vampire by the name of Jngvrd White-Pelt.
  2.
  3. Personality-wise, he is myopic, quiet, submissive, earnest, eager to please, cries easily, and generally paranoid. He primarily just looks out for himself, neither helping nor hindering his more aggressive kin in their hunts for mortals, although he may attempt to subtly steer them in another direction should someone he knows personally be in danger (although he won't be participating in the hunt itself either way.) He enjoys reading books of all sorts, and has a dabbling interest in magic, although he detests enchanting due to how it uses souls to work, and is generally leery of necromancy because he doesn't know what happens to souls when they leave the construct they have been put into.
  4.
  5. He tries to feed on animals instead of humans (Always trying to slay them instantly, so as to not cause them much suffering. One of the few times he is thankful for his vampirism, as his unnatural strength makes this easier), but if he comes across some freshly dead men or mer he is not above consuming what little blood remains in their corpses. He would probably also feed on a living mortal were they ever to offer, although he would try his best to be gentle about it. He also does his best to keep stocked with blood potions to ensure he never starves and goes feral, a fate which terrifies him as he understands that he could easily kill someone in such a state, or do something that would get himself killed.
  6.
  7. Speaking of killing, he is willing to kill in self-defence, although he is more likely to use lethal force on a mortal than another vampire. After all, killing a mortal will most likely just send them to some cushy paradise where they can rest in peace with their kin (eventually), while slaying a vampire condemns them to an eternity of torture. Regardless of how cruel they are, Yvenn does not consider such an afterlife to be a just fate. No matter who he kills, however, he'll probably feel awful about it for weeks, or even months.
  8.
  9. His primary source of income is selling bone trinkets from the animals he hunts when he trades with mortals, and selling animal-based blood potions to any vampire clans he can persuade to let him stay with for awhile. He is also often bullied into doing menial labor for the clan he's staying with for the duration of his visit. In addition, he will loot abandoned ruins or other areas in hopes of finding something worthwhile. And like all of Skyrim's clanless vampires, he does his best to avoid the Volkihars wherever they may be found, due to their disregard for the unlives of any breeds besides their own.
  10.
  11. As you may have gathered, Yvenn cares a great deal about the destinations of souls. This is most likely due to the fact that he is aware of his own destination should he ever be slain. He is more afraid of this than anything else, and has looked into many ways to prevent it. His first attempt was to cure his vampirism, but upon learning that a black soul gem would be needed, he vowed to never go through with it, being unwilling to condemn another spirit in the place of his own. He also briefly considered praying to the divines for salvation, but dismissed the idea on the grounds that they surely would never care about a wretched creature like himself. This has led him to his most recent and still ongoing attempt, which is to devote himself to another daedric prince, Azura in this case. He does his best to pray at least once per day, in the hope that if he is pious enough she may take pity on him and override Molag's claim to his soul should he ever be slain. He has no idea if it will work, or if she even listens to him, but the chance that she might be is the only thing that lets him sleep at night.
