As you move deeper into the area, you notice a man lying down barely conscious and another hanging upside down in a tree from barbed wire.
	Theo: 	"I can try. Give me a hand here Rotom."
* Pix gives Theo a look. What hands?
	Lilea: 	Lilea uses a Potion!
	Scientist 1: 	"Hng..."
	Theo: 	"You know what I mean. See if you can help me support him as we get him down."
	Lilea: 	HP+20
* Scientist 1 recovers some health. Enough to sit up and talk a bit better.
	Lilea: 	"Whawhawhat happened here?"
* Lonnie will help, too, if possible. Might be more use than a... well, little sparky ghost.
	Scientist 1: 	"T-Thanks...whoever you are...where's Ramon?"
	Lilea: 	"Is he the only other one? Because they found someone in a tree knocked out over there?"
	Theo: 	(Alright, so how do we get him down?)
* Scientist 1 takes off his glasses, revealing pitch black eyes.
	Scientist 1: 	"I-I can't see..."
	Lilea: 	"U-um. Well you're safe now, my name is Lilea, junior pokemon trainer. I heard there was trouble in the area and came with some friends."
	Theo: 	(Do we use a body check? Athletics?)
Scientist 1: (( Well, you can Athletics if you think you can rip apart barbed wire with your bare hands. ))
	Lonnie: 	(o.o Oh.)
Theo: (( oh yeah. That was there. ))

Scientist 1: (( Daughter had an accident. Stupid potty training ))
* Lonnie examines the barbed wire for a moment. Is there a safe way to bring him down without having to immediately untangle him? Perception using Lauren's stats, 14 ...for when you get back I guess.)
	Lilea: 	"Just sit still, I've had some first aid training. I'm going to check your eyes, they look funny but not damaged. It might be something you can recover from." Lilea tries to comfort the man (25 Charm) while examining his eyes. (11 Education: Medicine)
	Lonnie: 	(niiiiice Charm score.)
You whisper to Mike: Well, you can try cutting the wire, or the thick branch it's tied to.
You notice that the barbed wire is coiled tightly around his legs up to his torso and the faint tinge of red spots all over suggests deep injury.
You whisper to Venec_Myles: The man is blinded with some sort of chemical. Could be Pok�mon related, could not be.
	Scientist 1: 	"U-Uh, thanks..." The man visibly looks more at ease.
	Lonnie: 	"Shoot. I don't have anyone to cut this with... Drey MIGHT be able to rip it, but even that might just hurt him more..."
	Lilea: 	"It looks like some kind of chemical was sprayed in your eyes. First we should wash them out with water, if that doesn't help the best I have on me is a Full Heal. It helps just about anything but I don't think it was made with comfort to the eyes in mind, it might sting. So if you can tell me where a water bottle is we will try that method first. Is that okay?" Lilea speaks quickly but softly, a comforting tone overcoming her usual enthusiastic voice.
	Lonnie: 	"if you need water, I've got my Slowpoke - I don't know that he'd give you something sterile, though..."
	Scientist 1: 	"I'm honestly not sure. We could try the Full Heal..."
	Lonnie: 	"Shoot shoot shoot... Well, nothing to do but try. Drey!"
	Drey: 	* A Pachirisu appears in a flash of light! "P-pachi?"
	Theo: 	"I don't really have any better ideas."
	Lonnie: 	*kneels down* "This nice man's all tied up. I don't think you can cut the wire, but you might be able to snap the branch he's on. Go up there, and when we say 'do it', you snap that branch, okay?"
	Drey: 	* The Pachirisu nods, and sizes up the tree for a moment. Then he leaps into it, climbing his way up to the branch holding the scientist aloft.
	Drey: 	(do I need to roll anything for Drey climbing the tree?)
Scientist 1: (( Checking ))
	Lilea: 	"Lets try, now lay down and place your head where I can hold it like so." Lilea sits on her knees and guides his head to her lap and take off his glasses. Rumaging through her backpack she takes out a full heal and holds the man's eyes open. "Now I'm going to spray, it might hurt but the quicker we do this the more likely you'll keep your perscription." She pulls the full heal's trigger gently, hoping to let the fluid drip out rather than the more forceful spray that is usually used to thinly coat an area.
Scientist 1: (( Athletics ))
	Drey: 	(Athletics 12 if you want it. And yeah, that's from your doc - Pachirisu are pretty buff for their size.)
	Drey: 	(and that's not a stellar roll, but hey, he's a squirrel.)
Theo: (( well, to be fair, they're natural climbers. ))
Scientist 1: (( Drey makes it up the tree. ))
* Scientist 1 winces fromt he spray but let's it hit home.
	Drey: 	* The Pachirisu sticks his head out, and waves to the man and his lady. "Chirisu~!"
A few moments goes by after the full application but the man's eyes remain black.
	Lonnie: 	"Okay. You ready to catch him?"
	Lilea: 	Lilea pets his forehead, she feels a bit silly doing so but it always helped her pokemon relax during treatment.
	Lilea: 	"Can you tell any changes?"
	Theo: 	"Ready when you are"
	Scientist 1: 	"...N-No. Will I be blind forever...?" His voice was shaking with fear.
	Theo: 	"How about puttin' his glasses back on?"
	Lonnie: 	"Alright. Drey! Do it!"
	Lilea: 	"I can't tell, but I've just studied a little medicine who used whatever I had on hand. Heading to a hospital would be the next best bet."
	Lilea: 	Lilea puts his glasses back on.
	Drey: 	"PAAAAA-" (Athletics, 14) "-CHI!")
	Drey: 	(Oh come on RNG, throw the squirrle a bone.)
Drey strikes the thick branch and even tries pushing it. The branch resists breaking but sways in the air. The crackling sounds of it giving way echoes.
	Lonnie: 	(So, did that not work? The last line makes it sound like it did.)
Scientist 1: (( It did not. But it's beginning to. ))
Theo: (( so now we push a little harder ))
	Lonnie: 	"Alright. One more time, Drey! Bring it home!"
	Drey: 	*pant* *pant* "Riiiii-" (22) "-suu!"
	Drey: 	(There we go.)
	Lilea: 	"Can you tell me what happened here exactly? And how long ago?
Drey stands up proudly before giving the branch a curb stomp and it snaps off cleanly, the man in the tree falling down with the thick branch following behind.
Theo: (( now or never! What's the "catch the falling man" roll? ))
	Scientist 1: 	"People in black uniforms came into our camp and beat us up. They took our research on the colony, the samples of the sap... Everything."
	Scientist 1: 	"I'm not sure how long ago. How's Ramon?"
	Lonnie: 	(I'd presume Acrobatics, or maybe just Body?)

	Lilea: 	"They're getting him down from the tree, he looks unconcious. I can't see any severe wounds from here."

* Lonnie glances over, and her eyes go wide. With the scientist on the ground, she reaches for her Pokeballs in her purse...
	Lonnie: 	(Fair enough. I may throw a ball at that Scyther then.)
	Lilea: 	"Esh, more bugs. Alright Olivia, time to play."
* Drey nibly hops down the tree, and lands near Lonnie. "Pachi pach?"
	Theo: 	"Alright! A wild Heracross!" Theo pulls out a Pokeball. "You're mine!"
Kaorin Sakura: 	That sounds like a job for initiative!
	Lonnie: 	"Good work, Drey. Now - get ready!"

* Lonnie picks up a rock, jogs forward, and chucks it at the Scyther, putting a little spin on it from her softball days! False Swipe! 1 to hit, 15 damage, cannot KO.
	Lonnie: 	"Hey! Leave her be!"
* Scyther cuts the rock in half with its arm, without even turning from Lilea.
	Lonnie: 	"Shoot."
	Lilea: 	Lilea is frozen under Scyther's gaze.

	Pix: 	Knowing that Scyther was to be caught, Pix decided not to nuke it down in one shot.
