- Rules for comparative adjectives:
- - compare two (groups of) things
- “short” adjectives (1 syllabale, 2 if the last syllable is ‘y’ or ‘le’): adjective+er

- “long” adjectives (3+ syllables, most 2-syllable): more + adjective / less + adjective

- Adverbs are compared the same way as adjectives, except that all 2-syllable adverbs use “more” and “less”, unless they’re the same as an adjective:
