Petycja Arcanum

Arcanum, even with all of it's technical flaws was a great game, that is loved by fans even in this very day.
It is played by people even as you read this petition.
Because of this we believe, that a game that has the steampunk-fantasy-like feel, that was Arcanum's main feature. The one that gamers around the world want to see again. Without bugs, an upgraded combat system (without real-time combat or an more balanced take on it).
Obsidian Entertainment is the best game developer we can ask to do this.
Firstly: the team is composed of some ex-Troika developers, most notably Tim Cain - project leader and lead programmer on Arcanum.
Secondly: Obsidian has an story of making great RPG games (Fallout: New Vegas, Star Wars: Knight of The Republic II, Neverwinter Nights 2, to mention just a few). Some of them are "highly unortodox" such as South Park: The Stick of Truth, which shows, that can create something beyond the standard fantasy or post-apo topics.

We understand, that you are not willing to take a financial risk with this project, so please: consider using Kickstarter for starting the project, testing the interest in it and, in the end, making the game we dream of.
