Although my academic background is rooted in Statistics, I have always had an inclination to programming and building things. After spending a year as an analyst, I decided to finally pursue this lingering interest. For the last 3 months I have immersed myself in learning Javascript and its client-side frameworks, such as Backbone.js and Angular.js. In addition to these frameworks, I have also worked with backend technologies such as Express and MySQL. My growth as a software developer is attributed to self-study and working on personal projects using the aforementioned technologies. As result of this experience, I am now seeking an opportunity to apply what I have learned with an inspiring and ambitious organization such as ¬______.
