  1. [Battle In Review] Invasion/Defense of Ascent
  2. On the Tuesday of March 31st, in a US event The Doritos of Club Penguin invaded the Ice Warriors’ server Ascent at 2:30 EST. The battle started at the Ice Berg and they all got in a circle and to quote a music star a lyric in Miss American Pie was “The football team tried to take the field but the marching band refused to yield.” That is how it started with IW and DCP IW started a circle but DCP got in it and IW refused to yield. When the battle started DCP opened with a barrage of jokes while IW met them with E9. Followed were game sticks, coffee, and winks from DCP at the Ice Berg but those are just a few. IW meanwhile gave them the old stink bomb or in other words ET (sorry ET and Spielberg), EU, moving jokes, and my personal favorite the chant “FROSTBITE?” The chant was my favorite because it was the first chant the whole battle. The Ice Warriors switched from the circle to a plus formation that was not very good and not because DCP was in it. In fact DCP was in the good parts of the plus IW was the one messing up the plus and it turned into even more of a blob when part of it hunched together in a corner of the berg. About 12 minutes into the battle however DCP changed rooms and went to the Forest.
  3. At the Forest DCP was met with a J-bomb and when DCP got into a plus formation IW and I quote here “sat on the plus”. From then on DCP was met with a chant of “STILL GOT FROSTBITE?” They also had commands like H, EC, and EG. DCP meanwhile did E7, EK, and ED. It was the Ice Warriors’ best room during the battle, but that is only because next round they did great to but so did the DCP.
  4. The Plaza was the final room the two armies fought in in the great server of Ascent and it proved to contain the best round of the battle. As they logged on the two armies got in a circle and simultaneously started doing E7. However, before that as IW were gathering more people they instantly started chanting “RUNNING?” During the round and in the Forest I thought to myself “Jeez! Is DCP ever going to do a chant?” Well luckily for me they did. They started by saying DOS to win and quickly came the response of NO from IW. One attack was IW doing EK and DCP doing E? That can be seen in this picture. http://linkvalidator.net/warn.php?p=aHR0cDovL2ltZ3VyLmNvbS9hdjlIT2VELFhMNHREcDUsVFI1MURnTixxZklsVnpELHNoR01DZzIsQlpnbGxXaix0WnFaSDlNLDViWmRKWDkscUxHUXU0TixMZ0lnejg2LFA2aWdUYUM= IW did three chants in this round. They are broken chip, not enough mustard, and as I already said before running? There was a major problem with the Ice Warriors though, and that problem is failure to do a chant. I was in their chat when the leaders gave the command to chant crunched. Nobody did it but one person tried and said crushed. Nearing the end with 3 minutes left the Doritos started chanting Victory, but IW responded with another NO.
  5. Well seeing how that just about wraps things up on this battle I should deliver a verdict about who won and why. In my personal humble opinion for all it is worth, I believe the winner is IW. They had more soldiers starting with 19 while DCP started with 15 and IW maxed 35+ while DCP maxed 25+ so IW had the advantage there. Not to mention while they did not do an attack and had a sloppy plus formation at the Iceberg, the Ice Warriors were much faster than DCP with delivering attacks. It seemed as if sometimes DCP didn’t know what to do so they did jokes. Also, IW had 5 chants while DCP had two and IW had more attacks because they were faster at delivering them. Thus, I declare the winner IW.
