Rainbow Dash preening her wings (NOT MINE)

>'Rainbow i'm back!' you call, as you juggle the groceries around in an attempt to close the door behind you.
>you see your beloveds perfect face poke around the doorway to the kitchen.
>She smiles at you, those smiles that you could never get sick of.
>'Did you get the conditioner?' she asks as she floats towards you.
>you set one of the brown paper bags down before rummaging through it and pulling out a purple squeeze bottle.
>'Blueberry flavor?'
>'thats it!' she grins, clapping her two forehooves together cutely.
>Her beautiful wings open gracefully as she takes the bottle from you.
>quickly twisting her body, she begins to squirt the bluish goop all over her feathers
>once both wings are sufficiently lathered, she sighs.
>'I can't believe I ran out of preening lotion! My wings have been feeling so dirty'
>'can't you preen without lotion?' you ask
>'yeah but it tastes weird' she says as she begins to gently take one of her longest primaries into her mouth
>you sit there watching her, oddly entranced by the beautiful sight.
>so soft and gentle were her motions. You could see her face perfectly content with what she was doing.
>her eyes were closed, but you couldn't take yours off how her long, soft blue feathers slowly slid between her teeth.
>the remnants of the lotion were now begin to react with her saliva, kneading it into her feathers and providing the perfect oily sheen they needed.
>you were completely entranced in her act. An act that was practically the equivalent of brushing ones hair
>but she looked so peaceful while she did it. A rare moment of silence from the normally rough and tumble mare.
>eventually, she releases one of her wings before looking back to you.
>despite only having done one wings, she pauses when she notes you en-captured gaze
>'what?' she asks innocently
>you shake your head as you chuckle softly.
>'have i ever told you how amazingly beautiful you are?'
>She smiles, "Everyday"
