TSW 8: Tea-Time and Tear-Time

	IcePickLobotomy	The sun is out, the sky is clear, the air is warm and the scent of sea-water lingers over from the shore. The stone steps of Gibraltar High School are very comfortable after a long day in the sun.

	JohnH	"You guys have any plans today?
	JohnH	"
	Mary	stretches herself as she is walking over the stairs and then seems to think for a moment "hmhmh"
	RobinE	slumps out of her room and falls into a chair.
	RobinE	(retract last robin action)
	RobinE	sprawls out on a step, with a quiet groan.
	Mary	"not sure yet" she mumbles a bit shy
	RobinE	"I don't feel like doing anything."
	JohnH	"We could go to the pet store...if its still there"
	RobinE	"the animals are scared of me anyway."
	JohnH	"Could have been a one time thing"
	RobinE	sighs, "maybe."
	Mary	looks a bit surprised and then puts her arm around RobinEs shoulder
	RobinE	Looks absolutely drained. Her eyes half shut, and her moves sluggish.
	Mary	"hey.. you feeling okay?"
	RobinE	"I" *yawn* "yeah, just... tired."
	JohnH	"You know what helps wake me up?"
	JohnH	waits only a second before answering the question himself "A jog"
	RobinE	"ru- yeah that"
	Mary	"..no"
	JohnH	"Just ask kasra. It's true"
	RobinE	"I feel like I never went to sleep." her eyes closed while she talks.
	IcePickLobotomy	You hear someone fall and tumble behind you. Your gym-teacher, Ms. Yang rolls onto the ground below, laying on her back. She blinks a moment and raises one arm. "I'm ok!"
	RobinE	"how?" Robin mutters.
	IcePickLobotomy	She leaps to her feet. "Years of gymnastics!" and then grimaces "Ouch. . . ok maybe not 100% ok."
	JohnH	"Good afternoon, Ms. Yang"
	Mary	"Uh ma'am? Good...Afternoon."
	Mary	looks her over again, for this is a eeeevil woman. That makes her run.
	JohnH	looks over at Mary "I must have used the magic word"
	IcePickLobotomy	"Good afternoon Mary, John, Robin. Enjoying the fine weather?"
	JohnH	"Quite so, Ma'am"
	RobinE	"I could go to sleep on these stairs."
	Mary	"Robin has turned into a cat..or lizard.  "She then turns to john" Magic word?"
	JohnH	"The jog word"
	Mary	shivers
	IcePickLobotomy	Yang smiles. "Conditioning is good for a healthy lifestyle! I only make you run because I like you guys."
	Mary	shakes her head and mutters "Or because you are evil."
	JohnH	"I think I speak for all of us when I say that we like you, too"
	IcePickLobotomy	She pouts "Ahh, you don't like running? Or dodgeball?"
	Mary	"Well don't sleep on them then Robin at least get sometwhere else for a short nap.."
	Mary	"Its evil... and you have a /slight/ tendency to hit me with them
	IcePickLobotomy	"It's motivation!"
	Mary	mumbles something displaying the full power of a scornfull teenager.
	IcePickLobotomy	"You'll thank me for it someday."
	Mary	mutters more about the evil that is PE
	JohnH	"Thanks, Ms. Yang!"
	IcePickLobotomy	"Also, if you're tired, some tea or coffee would be nice. There's a nice little shop about 3 blocks down, on the left at the corner."
	RobinE	"Maybe, that could help."
	Mary	"That.. sounds like a good idea "She nods a bit guarded awaiting for Yang to spring her trap on her like back in the changing room!
	RobinE	"wanna walk to the shop John?"
	Mary	"I think the idea has some merits. Do they have cake?"
	IcePickLobotomy	"Oh yeah. Great cake, and cookies, and patries, and ice cream, and. . . you get the idea."
	Mary	"Well then yes "
	Mary	is about to say more as her stomache grumbles
	JohnH	"Let's do it!"
	RobinE	"If I lie here any longer I'll fall asleep."
	RobinE	slowly gets up to head out.
	JohnH	"I will too" John stands almost effortlessly, obviously just saying it to make Robin feel better
	Mary	"So what is your favorite taste for a dessert?"
	JohnH	"Not sure. Doughnuts are good"
	IcePickLobotomy	"Hmm, fan of their tiramisu myself. . . ." She blinks and checks her watch. "WhoopsgotagoorI'llbelatefortheVolleyballteamagain!" She sprints off without another word.
	RobinE	"I caught part of that, but I... I'm too tired. Let's go."
	Mary	"Well I am a fan of chocolade flavor, even if it is a pricy one." She then looks after the yang rabit "She.. is certainly a strange one "
	JohnH	sets off in the direction Ms. Yang pointed to
	Mary	remains next to RobinE  ready to catch her shold she stumble. Or sleepwalk into traffic
	RobinE	slumps along after John.
	IcePickLobotomy	The cafe is somewhat crowded, though not overly so, mostly by other high-school students, and even a few staff grading papers. The influence is clearly Turkish based on the decorations, a cozy well lit space with tables squeezed somewhat tightly together. A few servers hurry to and fro wiedlign plates laden with sweets, sandwitches, and mugs of coffee. The smell is warm and powerful, and...
	IcePickLobotomy	...makes you huger and thirst for the delights within.
	Mary	starts to smile more brightly as she sees this "ah...that is something that warms ones belly"
	RobinE	"anyone see a seat?" Robin says with closed eyes.
	Mary	"I see a bench and some chairs over in a corner" She says and then puts her arm around robins shoulder to help guide her there.
	RobinE	"ok," Robin allows herself to be lead.
	JohnH	follows intently
	RobinE	When they reach the seats, Robin sits down. Just before she is fully seated she jumps up as if she sat on something "oh!" she stands back up. She reaches into her pocket and pulls out something strange, "What?"
	Mary	"hm?"
	JohnH	"Whatcha got there, tired one?"
	RobinE	"Why is there a lock in my pocket?" she holds out a lock. "Are you guys messing with me?"
	Mary	"I do not have a idea, hmh anything on it in case someone is going all "give me the keys to your heart "
	JohnH	"definitely not me. Not stealthy enough to pull something like that"
	RobinE	"uh" she looks the lock over, "Its a METI lock."
	RobinE	"Why do i have this?" she seems unnerved.
	JohnH	"Are you on" john pauses
	JohnH	"lockdown?"
	RobinE	"You are messing with me aren't you?"
	JohnH	"Only with that. No idea about the lock"
	RobinE	"Come on John, this is freaky."
	JohnH	"Seriously, not me"
	RobinE	's tired brain is running with ideas.
	RobinE	"I, but if I have it then where?"
	RobinE	"We don- I...I don't remember getting it."
	JohnH	"How heavy is it? Wouldn't you have noticed it while walking here?"
	RobinE	"I mean, I am tired. Everything feels heavy."
	RobinE	"It's old, and broken."
	RobinE	"I'll uh, keep it for now. I-I'll ask Walker about it later."
	JohnH	"You should get something to drink. Might help you overall."
	RobinE	"I, yeah. some tea maybe."
	JohnH	stares down a server
	JohnH	"Are you /actually/ going to ask Walker about the lock?"
	RobinE	"Yeh," she is avoiding eye contact, "maybe she can tell me about it."
	JohnH	"A....huh....alright then."
	IcePickLobotomy	A server stops by to take your orders. She glances at the lock curiously but says nothing on the topic.
	RobinE	hurriedly stuffs the lock away, after the server leaves of course.
	JohnH	"Yeah, what do you guys have that will perk me up? I'm feeling tired"
	IcePickLobotomy	"Uh, we have coffee, there's also the espresso which has a bit more of a punch."
	JohnH	"We'll take two of those expressos"
	IcePickLobotomy	"I could give you a double-shot."
	Mary	"Well it could be a harmless idiot, or a harmfuull one. DO you know anyone that either of the two girls "she nods at robin" angered in the last time?
	JohnH	"Double shot it is"
	RobinE	glares at Mary, "/I/ didn't anger anyone."
	Mary	"Uh, regular coffe please" she says a bit smaller in tone
	IcePickLobotomy	"Of course."
	Mary	wilts under the glare and gets smaller
	Mary	lips quiver
	JohnH	"Mary, don't worry"
	JohnH	"She's tired"
	RobinE	's eyes soften, "and scared."
	Mary	looks a bit panicked and as if she is about to cry
	RobinE	"maybe I should just head home. This isn't going well."
	Mary	"No no.. I should.. its my fault."
	JohnH	starts to get a bit worried
	JohnH	"Guys, its fine. It's a nice day, lets just get some drinks"
	Mary	tries to stand up " "I.."
	JohnH	grabs her hand "Don't leave"
	JohnH	"We're all good here, just need our drinks to get here. What happened in class for you guysd today?"
	RobinE	"I don't remember. I probably fell asleep in class."
	Mary	blinks and then tries to pull her hand away as her eyes widen a bit and she stumbles from the spot.
	JohnH	just lets it happen
	JohnH	has an almost begging in his eyes to not let the group get split up right now
	Mary	races for the restrooms
	RobinE	"This didn't go well," robin groans while rubbing her eyes.
	JohnH	"I know..." John groans too
	RobinE	"stupid..." she mutters.
	JohnH	"Who?"
	RobinE	's face looks as if its pained to say the name. "Lana" she says through gritted teeth.
	JohnH	"Oh your alter ego."
	RobinE	takes a deep breath "no."
	JohnH	"No?"
	RobinE	"I... look I'd like to not talk about it."
	JohnH	"er... okay"
	RobinE	"Do you think Mary is ok?"
	JohnH	"I don't know. I hope so"
	JohnH	"I'm not very good at understanding peoples feelings"
	Mary	comes back after a while, her eyes red and a strong smell of soap on her. "uh..."
	RobinE	"are you alright?"
	Mary	"I am okay" she says in a weak voice
	RobinE	"no you aren't" she tries to give Mary a hug, "It's alright." The hug is slightly awkward as Robin is not practiced at them.
	JohnH	doesn't attempt to do the hugging, as he isn't quite sure how to process the info, so he just says "Let me know if I can help"
	Mary	shivers and accepts the hug before returning it with a weak try to crush her but which fails agains Robins more muscular frame
	Mary	"its..thanks.."
	RobinE	"Look, its just. When you are talking to me, please /only/ talk to me." (trying to imply not to mention Lana).
	Mary	nods and looks downcast
	Mary	"Sorry for this.."
	Mary	is soo smal with hat.
	Mary	looks ashamed
	RobinE	"Hey, I said its fine. If I were still mad I wouldn't talk to you. Please, it's ok."
	Mary	nods and relaxes a bit "sorry..for disrupting you"
