  2. Class: Crawler
  3. Skill: Ancient Technology
  4. Argoth* Name: "The Cobalt Colt"
  5. Argoth* Description: Not an Argoth in the conventional sense, the Colt is a far older type of machine, vaguely resembling a cross between a minature ironclad ship and a tractor in appearance. It moves on two exposed metal threads supported on two disproportionately massive idlers and innumerable bogeys, ending with two turning sprockets on the back. These tracks attach to a boxy, riveted chassis of thick plating, painted metallic blue and trimmed with gold, which though heavily worn by the ravages of time remains polished to a sheen. On the front of the body, a large protruding ram is visible, similar to that of a warship, while a plumage of metal piping juts from the back end. A cylindrical turret stands slightly forward on the top of the machine, a large cannon mounted as its primary armament. On the turret sits a cupola that vaguely resembles a great helm in appearance, complete with a pivoting visor that can be lowered and raised for better visibility or protection respectively. The interior of the vehicle is a mess of levers and switches, a far cry from the runed compartment of a true Argoth, and as a result requires significant manual input, though core systems remain semi-automated by magic (a bit haphazardly), in order to supplement the second member of the vehicle's crew that would otherwise be needed for it to fully operate.

  68. Bio: Hailing from the isolated country of Penry, Maxwell, like his fellow Pen(a?)rians, views the outside world as full of barbaric, ignoble, probably cannibalistic primitives that pillage cities for kicks and eat their meals with their hands, (as opposed to brass-ware like civilized men). In spite of this, the confident middle-aged farmer had heard tales of an earlier time; A time where the outside world was somewhat less savage then the current (though they still ate with their hands, those filthy neanderthals), a time where glorious land ships were fielded by all the important armies of the land in grandiose clashes of tactics and steel over captured maidens and good conquering over evil. The fate of entire nations lay in the hands of brave crews of men labouring together to work as one, forming guilds and a distinct warrior caste valuing teamwork, bravery, and trust. Yet as the stories told, this time was eventually supplemented by the age of Argoths, where single men could fight with the power of several dozen in a landship using the man-like warframes as extensions of their own bodies. The age of landship faded, and the last few relics of the past found themselves lying in museums, or in the pages of children's fairytale books.

  70. Maxwell, a man well read in such tales, one day decided to do something completely out of the ordinary; Leaving the safety of his homeland, he would borrow (with much protesting) one of the ancient landships in lieu of the cutting edge technology held by his nation in an attempt to revive the old order, venturing across the outer reaches of the world in order to combat the villainy and corruption of the outside and civilize the land, one heroic quest at a time. Though assumed insane by his fellow countrymen, they did not try to persuade him to step down from his admittedly rather noble endeavor, and so he wanders.

  72. *Not technically an Argoth.
