- For timing reference if needed, first note falls on 0.177 here.
- (1) 4.090 to 4.351
- A waste to not accent this with a 3 note jack (or even make it all 3 note jumpjack like [24][24][24])
- (2) 7.481 to 8.525
- I already mentioned this before but if you are not going for a straight jumptrill, it's better to use some repeating and symmetrical jacky jumpstream pattern
- (3) 12.438 to 12.699
- No reason to make this different from (1) so same thing.
- (4) 15.829 to 16.351
- The [12]4321 transition for the 32nds is already gay with the roll starting on the 32nd interval, but in this case it feels wrong too because the last quarter note is not part of the roll. I'd go for something like http://imgur.com/wLMXYBh or variations.
- (5) 16.351 to 16.873
- Assuming the note on 16.612 goes to the synth, missing note on 16.742. Another option is ignoring the synth (including the 16.351 note) and stepping the vocals falling around 24th intervals.
- (6) 18.699 to 18.960 and 22.873 to 23.133
- Arbitrary 3 note jack going to nothing.
- (7) 18.960 to 19.090 and 21.047 to 21.177
- I think it's better to follow the pattern of minijacks in the 4th to 8th note transitions here too.
- (8) 20.525 to 20.655 and 28.873 to 29.003
- Maybe accent the weaker vocals by not having a minijack here (which also accents the following 3 note jack).
- (9) 24.177 to 25.220
- Same as (2).
- (10) 29.133 to 31.481
- The extended handjack doesn't feel right with all the changing sounds. I'd try to keep accenting the first three notes and follow some down up pattern with the hands (note that repeating only [124][134] would be a bit too hard so it'd need to move around).
- The hit on 30.307 is weaker and marks the transition for the following 16ths so I'd recommend a jump to accent and ease the transition.
- The 16ths are quadruplets so I think it's a nice opportunity to use 4 note trills.
- To sum up I'd see something like http://imgur.com/zNJai1h working.
- (11) 31.612 to 33.307
- Assuming you are follow the vocals, 31.655 and 33.090 would be the correct sync for those notes 1 24th earlier.
- (12) 33.658
- Maybe quad for the crash.
- (13) 33.568 to 37.090 and 37.742 to 40.742
- I'm assuming you ommited the 8ths to differ from the following section but considering it's repeating sounds at a slow speed it will be obvious that the hand variations are arbitrary. Even if you follow pr and make it all the same it will be boring though, so I suggest including the 8ths and differentiating from the following section through patterning.
- Some examples would be using strict pr and make some controlmania like [134]2 looping forever or some simple minijack mirror loop like [134]3[124]2. Also note that varying those loops after each transition can work too if you find that too repetitive.
- (14) 37.481 to 37.742
- This isn't bad but you could make something interesting like [124]3[14]2[134] which even falls into a more complete layering scheme and marks the transition into the mirror repetition better.
- (15) 39.307 to 39.568
- Keep in mind this if you change stuff around. Note that including the 8ths in (13) it would make sense to use a jump instead of hand in this 8th here.
- (16) 41.655
- Not sure why this is a hand.
- (17) 41.916 to 45.568 and 46.090 to 49.090
- I'm assuming the minijack on the 4 column at first (and then mirrored) is supposed to follow the same motif of the minijack in the intro going to the vocal. In that case the 'roll' pattern of the minijacks here detracts from that accent and makes the whole section feel quite bland.
- I'd try to follow the whole motif more closely and do something like [123]2[134]1[234]2[134]4 and then mirror. The one handed pattern helps build up the difficulty from the previous section and there is no unbalance because of the mirrored repetition.
- (18) 45.568 to 45.699
- Same as (8).
- (19) 45.829 to 46.090
- This patterning is really awkward to play alongside all the jacks. Also I'd follow whatever you do in (14) for consistency noting that it should fit the transition into the mirror repetition (see (20)).
- (20) 46.620
- This would be changed following the other notes anyway but I wanted to note that it's better to fit the previous isolated burst than arbitrarily changing a single note of an established motif for the sake of difficulty.
- (21) 50.003
- The vocal attack is around one 24th later.
- (22) 50.264 to 53.916, 54.438 to 58.090, 58.612 to 62.264 and 62.786 to 64.873 (aka 50.264 to 64.873 minus bursts)
- At this density the more or less generic minijack only patterns aren't bad but I think it's possible to follow up from the idea in (17) with something like http://imgur.com/czlwTaP
- The fact that you are mirroring is always convenient for handedness based patterning.
- (23) 53.916 to 54.047 and 58.090 to 58.220
- Similar to (8) and (18).
- (24) 54.177 to 54.438 and 58.351 to 58.612
- This is already close to what I suggested in (14), I think having the 8th [14] for double minitrills isn't a problem difficulty wise.
- (25) 62.264 to 62.786
- I think it would make more sense to have the first 4 notes as alternating hands and the last one be different (e.g. [234][123][234][123][134]), also note that it's good to pattern in a way that makes the transition into the mirror repetition seamless.
- (26) 64.873 to 65.851
- The [34]2[34] breaks up the tempo in a pretty awkward way, especially considering the sound is settling down. Also I'd consider adding a last 4th single note on 65.851 to the cymbal.
- Following the modulation direction I'd have something like http://imgur.com/Fo1bPXL
- (27) 66.699 - the devil baka sex number...
- Same as (21)
- (28) 66.960 to 74.003 minus burst
- I know what you are trying to do with this but I don't think it's very effective. You also lose the only notable accent in this section which is the cymbal sound in 66.960 and 75.307.
- I'm not sure what would be ideal but one idea is making a column of mines moving according to the modulation effect every x notes and putting hands in the remaining columns. And on the two cymbal hits use quads. I wouldn't worry too much about it being a bit empty or repetitive, just use some consistent approach that makes sense even if it's repeating the same hand all over.
- (29) 70.873 to 71.133
- pls no. Maybe use the same as (14) and (24) for a motif?
- (30) 74.264 to 74.786
- Maybe alternating hands into a different one like [124][134][124][134][234] or even making the last one a jump to match the next part.
- (31) 74.786 to 75.177
- These are repeating sounds so a trill would be better.
- (32) 75.307 to 81.568
- Should be all quads.
- (33) 77.264
- Maybe one 24th later for the vocal?
- (34) 81.699 to 81.960
- Funky layering, try to accent the cymbal on each 4th.
- (35) 82.090 to 82.742
- Wrong sync and there is a little offset between some cymbal hits and the other sound. The first hit is on 82.090, the second hit a bit earlier than the next 4th and not quite sure about the rest.
- (36) 83.003
- The attack one 16th later is more relevant.
- (37) 83.199 and 83.460
- Both are a bit earlier.
- (38) 83.655 to 87.829
- The synth to your 5 note jacks is actually an alternating sound (and the 4th hit is quite weak) so a trill would make more sense. It's also very strange to suddenly not layer the big cymbal hits so I'd recommend adding those too as jumps at least.
- (39) 89.916 to 92.003
- The big jumptrill is too big of a spike, especially considering the chart isn't really focused on long jacks. Following my suggestion from (2), something like http://imgur.com/CBs2U6S could work to mark the increased intensity, although it might be too hard too. Another option is starting off with lighter layering (e.g. jump every 4th) and making only the intense part dense js.
- (40) 92.003 to 107.525 minus bursts
- This part is so weird musically. In any case I think it's bad to not accent the 4ths with a hand. The layering would be the same as the next section but you could differentiate this one with something like super easy minijack patterns (e.g. [124][23][134][12][234][14][123][34] loop and maybe mirror after bursts).
- (41) 95.916 to 96.177 and 104.264 to 104.525
- See (14), (24) and (29).
- (42) 99.307 to 99.829
- Same approach as (30) should work.
- (43) 99.829 to 100.351
- The dangling 16th makes me feel uncomfortable, building from (41) motif I'd go for something like [124]3[24].[134]2[13].[1234].
- (44) 106.612 to 107.525
- Both the quads and the patterning doesn't feel right at all. I'd go for only patterning accent.
- (45) 108.177
- About a 24th too early for the vocals.
- (46) 108.699 to 124.220
- Follow up from (40). This should build up from (38) so I think it's time for more one handed manias (e.g. marking the 5 notes with one hand doing [12]2[12]1[12] and variations).
- (47) 112.612 to 112.873
- See (14), (24), (29) and (41).
- (48) 116.003 to 117.047
- This should be the same as (51).
- (49) 125.394 to 140.916
- Opting for quads here makes your options here very limited. Ideally this should be like (46) but a bit more intense. With quads the only viable option I see is turning those 5 note jumpjacks into [1234][34][1234][12][1234] as other variations would make everything else pretty awkward. Probably using the same layering as (46) and adding some harder patterning nuance is better but I dunno.
- (50) 129.373
- Ghost jump I think? Or at least much weaker than 129.503 even though the latter is a single note and this a jump.
- (51) 132.699 to 133.220
- Maybe follow the motif on (30) and (42).
- (52) 133.220 to 133.742
- Not sure how bad this will be when the stuff around is toned down, but I'd go for the same as (43).
- (53) 138.438 to 140.916
- Accenting that sound on the 8ths should be cool.
- (54) 141.568 and 141.829
- About a 24th early.
