  1. NECHRONICA RESOLUTION GUIDE
  2.
  3. ---START---
  4.
  5. [ACTION TIMING]: Combatants who can act this Count declare Action maneuvers. The Necromancer declares first, and then the players. Any target(s) of the declared Action maneuver must be legal now to declare a Maneuver. Pay the cost at declaration. If, after declaring an Action maneuver, you remain in the same Count, you may declare another Action maneuver.
  6.
  7. [RAPID TIMING]: Declare any Rapid maneuvers (against legal targets) in response to the Action maneuver. Rapid maneuvers may also be declared in response to other Rapid maneuvers.
  8.
  9. Rapid Timing Resolution: Resolve Rapid maneuvers' effects in the reverse order of declaration (starting with the latest declaration). Any target(s) of the declared Rapid maneuvers must be legal now, and without a legal target, the maneuver fails.
  10.
  11. Action Timing Resolution: Resolve Action maneuvers' effects in the reverse order of declaration (starting with the latest declaration). Any target(s) of the declared Action maneuvers must be legal now, and without a legal target, the maneuver fails. For an Attack maneuver, roll the attack check.
  12.
  13. ---The following steps apply individually to each maneuver.---
  14.
  15. [CHECK TIMING]: Declare modifiers, applicable maneuvers (Supports, Hinders, rerolls), and madness rerolls for the check. Pay any costs for maneuvers and apply effects immediately as they are declared.
  16.
  17. Check Timing Resolution: If the check's result remains a succeeding number, then the check is a success. If the attack would do damage, then move to Damage Timing.
  18.
  19. [DAMAGE TIMING]: Declare modifiers, applicable maneuvers (Defend maneuvers, Stacy's Defend and Meat Shield skills, etc). Pay any costs for maneuvers and apply effects immediately as they are declared.
  20.
  21. Damage Timing Resolution: If any damage remains, apply the damage and any additional effects the attack may have. If, after the damage timing, the attack did no damage to a combatant, then its effects do not apply to that combatant.
  22.
  23. ---END---
  24.
  25. Note 1: Auto-timing maneuvers apply immediately upon their stated conditions, regardless of [TIMING].
  26. Note 2: Otherwise, maneuvers must be declared at their specified [TIMING] steps.
  27. Note 3: The [CHECK TIMING] and Check Timing Resolution steps apply to all checks, unless stated otherwise.
