  379. We are actively removing all confirmed password and spam releases from the index so that we
  380. are not wasting yours and other users bandwidth and time on crap releases. Our aim is to have

  382. releases make their way into our index as we automatically index over 300+ usenet groups. Whilst
  383. we have filters in place to weed out the junk these filters constantly need tweaking as the posters
  384. change the way they code and upload the releases to usenet.

  1145. or spam will be removed from our index. If you disagree with a report the report will be removed

  1162. false positive password detection.

  1166. You have a new menu option in the blue bar called "Mods" under this menu there are 2 pages
  1167. <strong>"Release Report Password List"</strong> and <strong>"Release Report Spam List"</strong> both
  1168. of these pages will show all releases that have been reported and not actioned. You can sort these
  1169. results based on all of the fields shown at the top in bold and you can also filter the results based
  1170. on "Poster", "Release Name". This page allows you to send a reported "release to SAB" (provided you
  1171. have SAB configured in your profile).

  1500. We are actively removing all confirmed password and spam releases from the index so that we
  1501. are not wasting yours and other users bandwidth and time on crap releases. Our aim is to have

  1503. releases make their way into our index as we automatically index over 300+ usenet groups. Whilst
  1504. we have filters in place to weed out the junk these filters constantly need tweaking as the posters
  1505. change the way they code and upload the releases to usenet.

  1509. All users (including freeloaders) can now change a passworded or spam reported release made by
  1510. them if it has been marked in error.

  1515. to view all reported spam and passworded releases to either <strong>'agree'</strong>' or

  1517. or spam will be removed from our index. If you disagree with a report the report will be removed
  1518. straight away and no further reports will be accepted for that release. To agree or disagree with
  1519. a reported release you are required to "test" the report. This means that you need to download the
  1520. NZB and confirm if the report is correct or not. You are not allowed to simply look at the release
  1521. and assume it or is not as reported, for clarification WE REQUIRE YOU TO ACTUALLY CONFIRM IF IT IS

  1534. false positive password detection.

  1538. You have a new menu option in the blue bar called "Mods" under this menu there are 2 pages
  1539. <strong>"Release Report Password List"</strong> and <strong>"Release Report Spam List"</strong> both

  1541. results based on all of the fields shown at the top in bold and you can also filter the results based
  1542. on "Poster", "Release Name". This page allows you to send a reported "release to SAB" (provided you
  1543. have SAB configured in your profile).

  1865. There have been quite a lot if releases that have been reported as passworded or spam when
  1866. they are in fact not. Whether this has been intentional misuse by some or just users clicking
  1867. the report button by accident; either way, we need your help as the community to help with the
  1868. upkeep of the reported releases.

  1872. We are actively removing all confirmed password and spam releases from the index so that we
  1873. are not wasting yours and other users bandwidth and time on crap releases. Our aim is to have
  1874. the cleanest and most accurate index and the most active community. Unfortunately these crap
  1875. releases make their way into our index as we automatically index over 300+ usenet groups. Whilst
  1876. we have filters in place to weed out the junk these filters constantly need tweaking as the posters
  1877. change the way they code and upload the releases to usenet.

  1881. All users (including freeloaders) can now change a passworded or spam reported release made by
  1882. them if it has been marked in error.

  1886. This new "Moderation" feature is only open to VIP, VIP+, and Legend Status users. It allows you
  1887. to view all reported spam and passworded releases to either <strong>'agree'</strong>' or
  1888. <strong>'disagree'</strong> with the reporting. All releases that have been agreed as passworded
  1889. or spam will be removed from our index. If you disagree with a report the report will be removed
  1890. straight away and no further reports will be accepted for that release. To agree or disagree with
  1891. a reported release you are required to "test" the report. This means that you need to download the
  1892. NZB and confirm if the report is correct or not. You are not allowed to simply look at the release
  1893. and assume it or is not as reported, for clarification WE REQUIRE YOU TO ACTUALLY CONFIRM IF IT IS
  1894. OR ISN'T. If any user is found to be abusing this system, the resulting action will/could include;
  1895. loss of VIP status or cancelation of your account all together! You must confirm that you have
  1896. read and agree to these rules to be able to use this feature, to do this please type
  1897. <strong>"I Agree"</strong> (this is case sensitive without the quotes) in the box below and this
  1898. will enable the feature for your account.

  1902. If you test a release and get an out of servers retention error this does not mean that you can
  1903. agree as you have not successfully tested the release. If you are testing a passworded release
  1904. and SAB pauses the release because "archive requires a password" you need to tell sab to continue
  1905. to download the release and confirm if this is the actual case as SAB still has some issues with
  1906. false positive password detection.

  1910. You have a new menu option in the blue bar called "Mods" under this menu there are 2 pages
  1911. <strong>"Release Report Password List"</strong> and <strong>"Release Report Spam List"</strong> both
  1912. of these pages will show all releases that have been reported and not actioned. You can sort these
  1913. results based on all of the fields shown at the top in bold and you can also filter the results based
  1914. on "Poster", "Release Name". This page allows you to send a reported "release to SAB" (provided you
  1915. have SAB configured in your profile).

  1919. You can also remove a reported spam or password report from inside an individual release by simply
  1920. clicking the disagree link inside the report bubble. Also removing a spam report will also remove
  1921. the passworded report if a release had been reported as both and vice versa.
