Q: How do I play?

A: !hangman starts up a round of hangman. Once the category is announced and the blanks are revealed, you may begin guessing letters and special characters. To guess a letter, type !guess followed by a letter. You may need to guess special characters too, such as dash (porygon-z), numbers (porygon2), colon (type: null), apostrophe (farfetch'd), and periods (mr. mime). The only special characters you do not need to guess are the accented e in flabebe, and the male/female sign for nidoran (nidoran just appears in hangman). To guess an answer, type !guess followed by your answer! You only get one guess though!

A: 10 minutes

Q: What categories are in hangman?

A: Pokemon, Abilities, Moves, Locations, Cities/Towns, Notable Trainers, and side game locations. (Key Items is a retired hangman category)

Q: How do points work?

A: Every time you get hangman correct, you get points! The number of points you get is based on how long it took to solve the hangman, and how many black characters are left when the hangman is solved. You are guaranteed to get at least 20 points!

Q: My points are gone?!?!?!

A: Most likely, the current season ended. I decided to use seasons to keep hangman competitive! However, if you recently changed your twitch account name, that can also cause issues. Just let me know and I can fix it.
