[12:18] <TenMihara|GM>  It comes in many shapes, sizes, and with many causes.
[12:19] <TenMihara|GM>  Pain was originally the brain's well of telling you something was dangerous, or not to be repeated
[12:19] <TenMihara|GM>  Now it's use has been twisted for the use by and enjoyment of the sadistic
[12:20] <TenMihara|GM>  Torture, interrogation, neither one is what pain is supposed to be used for.
[12:20] <TenMihara|GM>  Pain is meant to be a survival instinct, not a weapon of war.
[12:20] <TenMihara|GM>  So what happens when people start to enjoy pain, or ignore it?
[12:20] <TenMihara|GM>  Nothing good, that's for sure.
[12:21] <TenMihara|GM>  *****Session Begins*****
[12:22] <TenMihara|GM>  The night after Purple_Kay fell in battle saw his companions back at their rigged dorm rooms provided by Logic_Gates at the Collegiate
[12:22] <TenMihara|GM>  Most of them eventually went to sleep, begrudgingly or otherwise.
[12:27] * Proverb is sleeping restlessly next to Harmony.
[12:31] * Harmony is awake and has been for a few hours now, unable to get much sleep after the past day's events. She is currently trying to take comfort in Proverb, her hooves wrapped around the smaller mare.
[12:32] * Green_Field wakes to find Daisy still snoring. He smiles and strokes her mane once before going to get her pad of paper to write a letter.
[12:32] * Proverb murrs quietly, snuggling close against Harmony, murmuring something in her sleep.
[12:33] <TenMihara|GM>  Daisy rolls over and curls up
[12:34] * Razor had a pretty restless night. She's lying awake, the memory orb beside her.
[12:34] * Harmony raises an eyebrow and nuzzles Proverb's cheek, trying to hear her murmuring.
[12:37] * Proverb 's wings twitch. "...n-no... Lieutenant..."
[12:38] * Harmony blinks confusedly and continues to listen.
[12:39] <Proverb> "Get out... no...NO!" Proverb jerks awake, shuddering.
[12:40] * Green_Field finishes his letter and puts it away in his pack. After putting his armor and pack on, he leaves Daisy to sleep and heads to where they put Purple Kay.
[12:41] * Harmony quirks her head and squeezes Proverb tightly in a hug. "...Proverb? It is alright, it was just a dream."
[12:41] * Proverb sniffs. "All dead... why..."
[12:43] <TenMihara|GM>  Triage's medical area door is slightly ajar.
[12:46] * Harmony gently rubs her hoof along Proverb's back, giving her a sympathetic nuzzle.
[12:46] * Green_Field finds it odd that the door is ajar and opens it to see in.
[12:47] * Proverb shudders slightly. "I... w-watched as they were gunned down... I... I c-couldn't st-top it..."
[12:49] * Harmony holds Proverb close, keeping her in a tight hug. "You could not do anything else, Proverb... It was not your fault."
[12:49] * Razor doesn't plan on getting up anytime soon. At the moment, she's debating whether or not to try and see the memory again. She wants to... but she doesn't want to hurt more.
[12:49] <TenMihara|GM>  The curtain to the wake area on the far side of the medical room is open, and Purple_Kay is nowhere to be seen. Triage also seems to be absent.
[12:55] * Proverb stifles a sob into Harmony's coat. "Th-they're a-a-all d-dead... b-becasue of m-m-me..."
[12:55] * Green_Field walk slowly inside looking around and thinking to himself, "shit, I hope she didn't mean that they would dissect him, I should have known better than to trust this organization."
[12:56] <TenMihara|GM>  There's a note on the wake Purple_Kay had been laying on.
[12:58] * Green_Field heads over to read it.
[12:59] * Harmony lets Proverb cry into her coat, keeping her close to dry her eyes. "Shhh... You could not have done anything else, love."
[13:00] <TenMihara|GM>  "Green, hopefully you get here to read this first. Come to room 302B pronto. Do not bring anyone else until you see and understand."
[13:01] <Proverb> "And... a-and now I st-till c-c-can't s-save my... m-my f-f-friends..." She sobs out.
[13:02] * Green_Field sighs and puts the note away. He heads for room 302B.
[13:02] <TenMihara|GM>  Room 302B is on the third floor, on the opposite end of the building. The room almost seems to humm with power, and is presently locked.
[13:04] * Harmony shakes her head and noses Proverb's head up to look into her eyes, giving her a stern gaze. "Proverb, the Enclave would have done the same thing, had you not been there, if what I have heard is true. And do not blame yourself for Mister Kay's death. It was my fault and mine alone. Those mercenaries were only there because of me."
[13:05] * Green_Field approaches the room. The humming makes him think they're doing some weird experiment to reanimate or something like that that Logic would be interested in. He knocks on the door.
[13:07] <TenMihara|GM>  The door opens a bit, Triage's eyepatch visible. She shifts so her other eye can see. "One sec." The shuts the door and a latch is pulled. She quickly steps out and looks to Green_Field, "You can go ahead and be mad at me, but I apologize anyways. They came while I was asleep."
[13:08] * Proverb locks her eye with Harmony's. "Y-Yeah... I'm... I-I'm g-gonna kill that motherfucker who put the b-bounty on you, and the traitors fuck who betrayed me an my squad..." She says, likely the first time Harmony had heard her swear.
[13:09] * Green_Field winces a bit as he asks, "what are they using him for?"
[13:09] * Harmony blinks and nods, giving Proverb a squeeze in her hug.
[13:10] * Proverb kisses Harmony gently. "I'm n-not gonna loose you too..."
[13:11] * Harmony smiles and kisses Proverb's cheek. "We should be going. We will have a long day ahead of us."
[13:11] <TenMihara|GM>  Triage nods, "I filed some documents on my computer while I was cleaning him up about his dense muscle tissue and smaller than average proportional vital areas. Not sure if Zodiac herself was informed, but there's plenty of doctors here looking to get on her good side by finding a way to get her body back up and running. whether or not she approves."
[13:12] * Razor  ignores the temptation of the memory orb for now... she rolls over onto her front, giving a quiet groan.
[13:13] <TenMihara|GM>  Triage notes, "For being dead, his body was surprisingly intact."
[13:14] <TenMihara|GM>  Triage smirks, "Was I see it, shock is what stopped his heart more than anything. Now, you're probably not gonna like what you see in there, but the end result might just make up for it."
[13:14] * Harmony sits up from her bed and the cuddling, donning her leather armor and saddle bags. She reloads her energy rifle as she waits by the door for Proverb.
[13:16] <Green_Field> "I payed to have him kept safe, not have him used by a bunch of ponies that want to shove their snouts up a superiors ass. This had better be worth it."
[13:18] <TenMihara|GM>  Triage opens the door and lets Green_Field inside. Three other medically dressed ponies stop and stare for a moment. In the back of the room is what looks like an auto-doc, only converted into... something. It's filled with a gelatinous fluid with a number of tubes and wires connected to Purple_Kay's body inside. Of major note is the various instruments around the tube, the most obvious of which shows an active heartbeat.
[13:21] * Green_Field is shocked for a moment before immediately checking the instruments for his vitals, "what's his brain activity?" He sound excited at the possibility that they could bring him back.
[13:27] <TenMihara|GM>  Purple_Kay's heartbeat and breathing are in keeping with what they might normally be, but his brain activity is another story. Stone comatose. Triage looks to Green_Field, "He was dead for several hours. His brain is oxygen starved and weak. It'll be a miracle if he regains full function. As it is, I'd say he's got, generously, a 1 in 4 chance of ever waking up."
[13:29] * Green_Field 's excitement fades a little. "How long are you going to try to get him going again?"
[13:30] <TenMihara|GM>  Triage notes, "The setup here will keep his body active and unatrophied indefinitely, but I can imagine the other people in this room would only be willing to keep him 'alive' so long as they can take samples. I really suggest talking to Zodiac, I'm sure she could convince them to keep him on your terms."
[13:31] <Green_Field> "It's not my terms I'm worried about, it's Razor's."
[13:32] <TenMihara|GM>  Triage shrugs, "Not sure she'd understand exactly what the situation is, given what I've seen of her, but I'm pretty sure 'Kay is alive and might wake up so long as we leave him here' would do the trick."
[13:32] <TenMihara|GM>  Triage rolls a hoof, "Which is true... technically speaking. Likelyhood is another matter."
[13:33] * Proverb gets up, pulling her barding on as well, buckling her tac vest and snagging her two rifles.
[13:35] * Green_Field nods, "I'll find a way to tell her. She might be hell bent on having him buried in Chapel though. I'll talk to Zodiac too. This will be a lot for the group to process."
[13:35] * Harmony stretches amd nods to Proverb, heading out of the room and to Logic's. She knocks twice, her hoof rapping lightly against the door.
[13:36] <TenMihara|GM>  Triage nods, "Still, better than being 100%, never coming back dead, eh? At least, most people here would argue that anyways. If you disagree, you can always pull the plug yourselves, but I don't think that's your style."
[13:37] * Proverb follows after Harmony!
[13:37] * Logic opens the door and... Well. Looks rather vacant. His eyes are glassed over and red along the edges, his horn still burnt blacker around the tip. "What is it?" He said in a gravelly monotone.
[13:38] <Green_Field> "Some think a definate no is preferable to an indefinate yes. They knew him longer than I did, it's their desision not mine."
[13:39] * Harmony leans forward and gives Logic a tight hug. "Thank you... If it had not been for you, our losses would have been much worse."
[13:41] <TenMihara|GM>  Triage nods, "I'd be happy to point Razor at the ones responsible if she has more... violent objections."
[13:43] * Logic is honestly caught off guard. His first instinct was to panic, he'd never really gotten much attention of the opposite sex, much less a hug. Clocks on the head, yeah, all the time. Never hugs. But he was too drained for the fight-or-flight instinct to run rampant. The second instinct was to hug back, but he knew she didn't like him that much, so to avoid a fight right now, he didn't....
[13:43] * Logic ...Reactions spent, he simply remained still and quiet, not knowing really what to do or what was in his eyes that bared watering up about.
[13:44] * Green_Field wishes PK was alive just so he didn't have to be the one to break the news to her, "I should tell them, stalling here won't help." He turns toward the door to head out.
[13:45] <TenMihara|GM>  Triage waves him off, "Good luck."
[13:49] * Logic finally speaks up a little. "I made him some schematics a little while ago. He wanted to show Razor them in a little while."
[13:49] * Harmony smiles and gives Logic a light squeeze before sitting up. She gives him a pat on the head, looking sympathetically down at his burnt-out horn (Not an innuendo) as she wipes his eyes with a hoof. "We have a busy day ahead of us, Logic_Gates. We should be going. Thank you again, truly."
[13:50] * Proverb gives Logic a brief smile, nodding.
[13:51] * Logic shakes his head and kind of steps back a bit. "No. I'd... I'd feel a lot better knowing that if I had to, I could do that again. I need sleep." He noted to himself that for some reason, what was an occupation now became a responsibility to these ponies. Purple was the best at it. Now he had to try for a little while to shoulder some of it.
[13:55] * Harmony nods. "I will be back later then, after everypony else is ready to leave." Harmony turns around, heading for Razor's room next, giving the door a quiet knock.
[13:55] <TenMihara|GM>  Daisy is still curled up on the bed with the blanket, shivering a bit, but not due to chills
[13:56] * Razor is still lying on the bed. When she hears the knock, she calls out, "What do you want!?"
[13:58] * Green_Field is left to his thoughts as he walks to join the others. Purple Kay single hoofedly held this group together, now with him gone... perhaps it's time for Green to finally step up and accept some responsibility this time instead of quitting again. He decides to check on Daisy first.
[13:58] * Harmony winces and calls back, though in a much gentler tone, "Razor, we should be leaving soon, we have much to do."
[13:59] * Green_Field seeing Daisy shivering makes him question if he can step up. He strokes her mane again hoping it will calm her down.
[14:00] <TenMihara|GM>  Daisy rolls over and opens her eyes. Her shivering stops and she smiles at him
[14:03] * Green_Field smiles back, "I need you to get up, there's something important all of us need to talk about."
[14:04] <TenMihara|GM>  Daisy tilts her head, then nods and stands up, grabbing her gear and suiting up
[14:05] * Green_Field when she's done, heads out for wherever the others are.
[14:06] <TenMihara|GM>  Daisy follows
[14:06] * Razor is definitely feeling irritable. She's not looking forward to this, but... She sighs, and rolls out of the bed, tucking the memory orb away. After a few moments of getting ready, she heads out the door.
[14:11] * Green_Field finds he room that Logic, Harmony, and Proverb are in. "We need to talk. And, preferably before Razor get's here."
[14:13] * Logic blinks. He is alone in the room. "They're off talking with Razor. Why, what's up?" Still gravelly and monotone.
[14:14] <Green_Field> "I was hoping the others would be here too. The collegiate is keeping Kay alive to see if they can get brain function back."
[14:18] * Logic pauses. He doesn't really know how to feel on that matter. "How long are they going to keep doing it?"
[14:18] * Harmony sighs at Razor. "I am sorry... for all that has happened. Perhaps we... should go and retrieve Mister Kay?"
[14:20] * Razor nods slowly. Think about it later. Do things now.
[14:21] * Proverb nods. "Should I go find Mister Green_Field while you do that?"
[14:21] <Green_Field> "Triage said we sould talk to Zodiac to see how long they will keep him. The question is, do we want to keep him here?"
[14:22] * Harmony nods to Proverb. "Yes, we will be back with Kay. Perhaps meet us outside?"
[14:22] * Proverb nods. "Alrighty."
[14:24] * Harmony turns and starts to make her way to Triage's medical area, though she waits to make sure Razor follows.
[14:24] * Proverb heads back to Logic's room to get him and Green_Field.
[14:25] * Logic "I dunno."
[14:25] * Green_Field turning to walk out. "Well we should talk to the others about."
[14:26] <Green_Field> It*
[14:26] * Razor heads toward the place she brought Kay last night. She doesn't like this place still, so she moves quickly and keeps her head down.
[14:29] * Proverb comes trotting back to Logic's room, as Green_Field leaves it. "O-Oh! Mister Green_Field, I was just coming to find you. Harmony and Razor went to g-get Mister Kay's body, and th-they want us to meet them outside."
[14:30] * Green_Field beging to run to Triage's area, "then we need to get there fast."
[14:31] * Proverb blinks, and gallops after him. "Wh-why?"
[14:32] * Harmony moves quickly as well, trying to keep up with Razor.
[14:33] <Green_Field> "I'll explain when we get there."
[14:33] * Proverb nods, and then quite literally becomes a black blur as she speeds off to the clinic, a thin black trail hanging in the air.
[14:38] <TenMihara|GM>  Proverb gets there first. No Purple_Kay
[14:38] * Logic wanders on down to the medical bay. Teleporation wasn't happening right now.
[14:38] * Razor just wants to get Kay and leave!
[14:39] <TenMihara|GM>  Razor arrives right after Proverb, with Green Field arriving shortly thereafter, and Harmony, Logic and Daisy bringing up the rear
[14:40] * Proverb stares at the empty bed. "No..." She says, looking around frantically.
[14:43] * Green_Field the others can hear Green's voice out in hall just before he runs in, "I can explain!"
[14:45] <Proverb> "H-He's gone!"
[14:46] * Logic stares into space when he finally arrives there. "... Dump it."
[14:47] * Razor isn't that quick on the uptake. She looks around. "Where..."
[14:48] * Harmony raises a suspicious eyebrow at Green_Field.
[14:48] * Proverb whirls on Green_Field, looking pretty pissed off.
[14:48] * Green_Field puts up a hoof to he want the others to be calm, "wait let me explain. I wanted to tell you before you saw."
[14:49] <Proverb> "Then explain!"
[14:50] * Razor glances over to Green_Field, confused. "Make it quick, I want to leave this place and never come back."
[14:53] <Green_Field> "There is a chance... albeit small, that Purple Kay can be brought back. "
[14:56] <Green_Field> "I didn't approve it, they set it up on heir own. But, I figured we should at least talk about it."
[14:58] * Razor gives Green_Field a blank stare. "Ha ha. Funny joke, in horrible taste. Stop screwing around, so we can go?"
[14:58] <Green_Field> "They're keeping him in a room hooked up to machines to keep his body alive and are working on ways to make his brain work again."
[15:04] * Green_Field not entirely wanting to give her access to the ponies responsible, "I show you where he is to prove it. After you've seen, if you still want to remove him, they said we can."
[15:04] <Green_Field> I can*
[15:05] * Proverb stares at Green_Field for a good minute, before nodding once. "I'll... wait outside."
[15:11] * Green_Field turns and set out to lead them to room 302B.
[15:12] * Razor gives Green_Field a confused look. This kind of thing isn't possible!
[15:15] <Green_Field> They arrive at room 302B, "if you don't want to see, stay out here. Otherwise follow me." He knocks and opens the door again.
[15:16] * Logic 's brain went alight with possibilities. How is this possible? How does one coax a mind back into existence? Morbid curiosity took over good reason in this particular case, and he became one of the first ponies to begin following him.
[15:17] * Razor has to see... She can't be told something like that and not see!
[15:23] * Harmony blinks and smiles, hopeful at the prospect of Kay still being alive. She follows Green_Field, wanting to see as well.
[15:24] * Green_Field walks on in with the following ponies behind him.
[17:11] * Logic is quite anxious to see the whatever it is they did with Kay.
[17:11] <TenMihara|GM>  Daisy has stuck to Green like glue, both for protection from Razor's probably fury and to keep herself from feeling alone and helpless.
[17:11] * Green_Field stands to the side to let he others look and puts a hoof on Daisy's withers, seeing Kay like this is likely to be quite shocking.
[17:12] <TenMihara|GM>  The group can see the tube with Purple_Kay suspended in it. Daisy looks confused, like she doesn't know waht to think
[17:12] <TenMihara|GM>  The Doctors continue monitoring Purple_Kay's vitals, Triage has moved on
[17:21] * Razor doesn't like the look of what's going on in the room. "What are they doing to him!?" She glares back at Green_Field, her look demanding that he explain!
[17:21] * Harmony blinks, looking on at all of the machines in surprise, then at Kay's body with a glimmer of hope. "...Will, will this all work?"
[17:23] <TenMihara|GM>  One of the Doctor's stops by Harmony, "Technically it already did work. He was dead, we fixed him... phsyically anyways. Any mental recovery is up to him, and will take time regardless. From the samples we took though, he's got some rather amazing physiology."
[17:23] <Green_Field> "They're seeing if they can bring him back. They said he has about a 1 in 4 chance."
[17:24] * Harmony nods, turning to the doctor. "Is there anything we can do to further his progress? Surely there is equipment that could help, or medicine, that you do not have?"
[17:28] <TenMihara|GM>  The doctor shakes his head, "He was brain-dead for several hours. His delta waves are surprisingly active, which is like he's dreaming. Whether or not he wakes up is really on him only. Physically, there's nothing more to be done, the fluid in that tank is a regenerative preservative that will repair and sustain his tissue."
[17:30] <Green_Field> "If anypony could do it, it's him. He's a tough son of bitch."
[17:34] * Razor doesn't like this. Not one bit. This reeks of unnatural.
[17:41] <Green_Field> "So now that you've seen that it's possible, we need to decide if we allow it or pull him out."
[17:42] * Harmony blinks. "I am sure that he did not /want/ to die... and this is his chance to live. We should allow it!"
[17:47] * Razor has no idea how to react to this. The idea that Kay might be alive... but at the same time, seeing him like this... she feels conflicted.
[17:49] * Green_Field slowly approaches Razor, "I think Harmony is right, we shouldn't waste this oppertunity, we'll never get it again."
[17:50] <TenMihara|GM>  One of Purple_Kay's hooves rises up a little in the pod, then bobs back down.
[17:59] * Green_Field watches his hoof rise and fall. He looks at Razor, "I wonder if that's because you're  here."
[18:03] * Razor doesn't know what to do. She's a terrible pony to be making important decisions like this. "Why does everything have to be so complicated...?"
[18:03] * Logic looks at Razor. He frowns. "... Who was he to you?"
[18:13] * Harmony shakes her head. "Mister Kay has an opportunity to live. We should not squander it." She nods. "We should leave him here for now while we deliver the Flash Filly weapons to Chapel."
[18:14] <Green_Field> "Yes, we should at least see if any improvement has been made by then."
[18:15] * Harmony looks to Razor. "Then if you are in agreement, we should move. We should not be caught unaware again."
[18:16] <Green_Field> "We're likely to be attacked again, you can get hose bastards for what they did."
[18:17] * Razor glares at Logic. She doesn't like that question. Almost as if he doubts her! "None of your business!" She glances back to Harmony. At least she has the right idea... Think later. Do things now. Green_Field has a point too... She stomps a hoof. "They'll suffer."
[18:19] * Logic frowns. "It isn't their fault. You don't blame the error on the message, you blame it on the missing close paren." He paused. "I mean, they're just fucking mercs. They just get money to kill ponies. You want revenge? Kill the folks that hired them."
[18:20] <Green_Field> "But, to find out who hired them, we need to have a chat with the mercs they hired."
[18:21] <Harmony> "The ones that hired them were of The Society. If one of us were to enter, preferably disguised, then perhaps we could gather information from that... Gold Standard."
[18:22] * Razor snorts. "They'll all suffer. They pulled the trigger, so they come first."
[18:23] <Green_Field> "Of course, who else would shell out for mercs than some rich snobby bastards."
[18:25] <Green_Field> "Well, let's get moving then."
[18:26] * Logic rubs his hooves together. "I'd really like it if my horn recovered a little."
[18:27] <TenMihara|GM>  One of the Doctor's speaks up, "You could talk to Saggitarius. He does these funny potion things that the rest of can't make heads or tails of. Maybe he could help."
[18:27] * Harmony nods, moving to Purple_Kay before leaving, whispering a sad, "Hang in there." She looks to Logic_Gates. "Can you talk with Saggitarius, then meet all of us outside?"
[18:28] * Razor snorts again. "I'm NOT staying in this place any longer."
[18:28] * Logic nods. "Sounds like a good idea." He seems to be feeling better. A little.
[18:30] * Harmony smiles and nods. "Razor, would you please carry the Flash Filly's box outside and wait for us?"
[18:31] <Green_Field> "Let's start walking to the gate, Logic can go talk to him." He starts walking out.
[18:32] * Proverb is still outside!
[18:33] * Green_Field tells Proverb as he walks by, "we're heading to the gate to go to Chapel."
[18:34] * Logic heads back into the building and picks up his pace a little bit. He didn't quite know why.
[18:35] * Razor gives a little sigh and goes to retrieve the box and take it outside.
[18:35] * Proverb looks up from the patch she had been staring at, nodding to Green_Field before tucking it away and trotting after him.
[18:35] <TenMihara|GM>  Saggitarius is in the cafeteria, once again staying later than most people to thoroughly chew and swallow his breakfast
[18:36] * Harmony follows Razor outside, making sure that everyone is ready to leave once Logic_Gates arrives.
[18:37] * Green_Field explains to Daisy and anypony else listening as they walk, what Purple Kay's condition is.
[18:38] * Logic sits down. "Any news on that mutant?" His horn was very obviously scorched a bit.
[18:39] <TenMihara|GM>  Daisy blinks, not fully understanding. She brings out her notepad, "So he sleeping to heal?"
[18:41] <Green_Field> "Kind of. We'll see in time if he ever wakes up again."
[18:42] <TenMihara|GM>  Saggitarius looks up form his almost finished bowl of oatmeal, "No news, but it seems you have been running about. I take it your horn gave out when doing magic?"
[18:43] * Logic 's face grows long. "Yeah."
[18:45] <TenMihara|GM>  Saggitarius nods, "And you were sent to me by someone suggesting a remedy? As it happens, I can make one. I learned it to help the unicorn zodiacs."
[18:46] <TenMihara|GM>  Daisy tilts her head, then scribbles, "Sleep forever = dead?"
[18:47] * Logic nods appreciatively. "I'd like to get one if you have one handy."
[18:47] <Logic> hoofy*
[18:50] <TenMihara|GM>  Saggitarius nods, "I take it you burnt out helping your companions?" He pulls a vial out of liquid and sets it on the table. "All I ask is the caps to procure replacement ingredients. As well, this substance will speed your recovery, but not immediately restore your magical stamina."
[18:51] * Green_Field pauses a moment then nods, "yes, more or less. We don't know what happends to us when we die,but most of us like to think it's something peacful like sleep... if they think it's anything at all."
[18:53] <TenMihara|GM>  Daisy cribbles, "Friend used to say dead ponies got to meet the Goddesses. Good ponies stay with them happy, bad ones come back as nasty things like bugs."
[18:54] * Logic "How much?"

[18:55] * Logic nods and brings out the caps. "Pleasure."
[18:55] * Green_Field grins at that and nods, "I like the sound of that one."
[18:55] <TenMihara|GM>  Saggitarius slips them away with his tail, "I hope you fare well young student."
[18:57] * Logic nods. "I'll come back soon. Let me know if you run into any information about the mutant." With that, and a quick shot of the liquid, he comes back to the others, wiping his mouth. "I'm here. Let's move. Eyes up."
[18:58] * Razor is definitely ready to go. She's grown to hate this place, for many reasons.
[18:59] * Green_Field starts walking out, amused by Logic's sudden spine growth.
[18:59] <TenMihara|GM>  Daisy smiles and gives Green_Field a quick hug
[19:00] * Harmony nudges Proverb, "Time to go." She takes the lead, starting to walk towards Chapel.
[19:01] * Proverb nods, keeping a close eye on the area around and above them as they headed for Chapel.
[19:06] * Razor keeps as quick a pace as she can manage. She wants to put as much distance as possible between her and the collegiate as possible.
[19:10] <TenMihara|GM>  Daisy trots alongside Green_Field, looking more hopeful that she had been the day before.
[19:11] * Green_Field continues talking to Daisy about medical things, it makes him feel better to talk about things he knows well.
[19:12] <TenMihara|GM>  Daisy seems to go in and out on her ability to comprehend what he's talking about. She had no education whatsoever prior to the medical stuff flying at her
[19:13] * Green_Field does what he can to break it down as much as he can and explains basic educational concepts where needed as well.
[19:15] <TenMihara|GM>  Daisy tries her best, but isn't really anything special in the smarts department sadly
[19:17] * Proverb continues to keep watch.
[19:22] <TenMihara|GM>  On their way back to Chapel, the group has to cross over toll. However, on the outskirts of the bridge town's eastern side a single building stands a little ways from the rest of the town. Clanking around the building are a trio of robots. Two standard ponytron security robots, and a spherical spider limbed one not unlike the one encountered at the robot Factory all those weeks ago.
[19:24] * Proverb snaps her Carbine up, drawing a bead on the robots. "Looks like we've got company..."
[19:25] * Green_Field pulls out his revolver, but doesn't bring it up.
[19:25] * Harmony pulls up her energy rifle, keeping a careful aim up.
[19:26] * Razor takes out her weapon. She's ready to break anypony who gets in their way. She's not in a good mood today!
[19:26] * Logic wells up some magical potential in his horn. It felt sore, resistant, but he felt that familiar swirling feeling come up. "Any chance we could just go around these?"
[19:26] <TenMihara|GM>  The two ponytrons seem to be looking for a way into the house, but the spiderbot, having a third eye on it's sphere pointed in the group's direction, swivels around, "Insurgents detected! Lethal force authorized!"
[19:28] * Green_Field snaps his revolver up and stands in front of Daisy.
[19:30] <TenMihara|GM>  Daisy steps back and lets the other ponies deal with this.
[19:38] * Rime A small vent from the attic opens and a small glowing orb falls to earth by a nearby robot, and explodes in a burst of electro-magic.
[19:38] <TenMihara|GM>  The Ponytron on the left immediately shuts down, but the one on the right, though sparking and shorting a bit, still manages to keep moving.
[19:43] * Proverb ejects her Battle Rifle's clip with a ping, reaching into her tac vest and pulling out a clip of .308 AP rounds and loading them in, bringing the rifle to bear on the spiderbot and firing twice.
[19:45] <TenMihara|GM>  The hovering spiderbot now has two sizeable holes through it. It sparks and splutters, barely staying airborne. To its rear (depending on what you defines as the front), its flamethrower malfunctions and goes off, spraying the house with a gout of flame
[19:48] <TenMihara|GM>  The house catches on fire
[19:57] * Razor is ready for this fight. She definitely could use a way to vent her frustration! She dashes over to the robots, going in to finish off the spiderbot before slashing to break the second ponytron!
[20:02] <TenMihara|GM>  Guided by the holes, Razor cuts the Spiderbot in two, the sparks dying after a moment and the flamethrower shutting off. The other swing takes the head off the already damage Ponytron.
[20:08] <TenMihara|GM>  The house is still on fire
[20:08] * Proverb slings her Battle Rifle, swooping down and scanning the house for whoever had thrown the gernade.
[20:09] * Rime There's a shrill scream from the now engulfed house. The vent in the attic is pushed open as a small filly tries to dive through it. She flails, stuck, until she finally starts to teeter, about to plummet to the ground.
[20:09] * Proverb dives for Rime, attempting to grab the filly and pull her to safety!
[20:10] * Green_Field runs to the house. Whoever is in there needs to come out unless they want to burn.
[20:11] * Harmony puts away her rifle and runs to the border of the house, watching nervously as Proverb dives for the filly.
[20:13] * Razor stomps on the broken robots, taking out her frustration. This is much more satisfying.
[20:13] * Rime falls...
[20:15] * Proverb swoops down and manages to catch Rime, angling away from the burning house, back towards the others.
[20:17] * Green_Field runs to where she's landing, "are you hurt?"
[20:18] <TenMihara|GM>  Daisy trots up curiously as well. Why was the little pony all white? Was she covered in flour? She pokes the filly to test this
[20:19] * Proverb sets Rime down gently, before shying away towards Harmony.
[20:19] * Razor is busy making sure the robots are good and smashed. She takes a while longer to rejoin the group.
[20:19] * Rime is surprised to not hit the ground. Her white fur and mane are already streaked with grey from the smoke, blending in to her filly-sized armor. She pushes a slouch hat to the back of her head, a pair of red-lensed sunglasses sitting on her nose. Her eyes are wet, wether from the smoke or something else.
[20:20] * Rime stares in shock, a quiver on her lower lip, she doesn't respond to the poking, just... staring.... "My... house..."
[20:21] * Logic calmly trots up to Rime and stares at her. "Are you alright?"
[20:21] * Harmony grimaces. "We apologize about your house..."
[20:21] * Green_Field starts checking her over, she wasn't hurt. At least not physically.
[20:21] * Rime 's eyebrows descend over her large eyes... "You ignorant Bitch-Cunts burned down my house!"
[20:22] <TenMihara|GM>  Daisy frowns at the filly. Such language!
[20:22] * Rime wheels. "The fuck you arsonistic assholes doing!"
[20:22] * Proverb winces. "S-Sorry..."
[20:23] * Rime looks back at the house. "My food... my roof..." There's an explosion. "My gunpowder..."
[20:23] * Harmony blinks. "We..." She frowns. "In all fairness, the robots attacked us first. We were defending ourselves. We are truly sorry about your house, though..."
[20:25] * Razor finally makes her way over, a little confused as to what this filly is doing here. "Who the hell is this?"
[20:25] * Rime "Only a matter of time til it gets to the flamer fue..." A mushroom cloud of flame climbs into the sky. "There it goes..."
[20:25] * Green_Field steps back from the filly, having seen no damage on her.
[20:27] * Rime stops staring at her burning home and looks over the group. "And you blew up my robots! I was totally going to figure out why they turned on me! But you scrotum-brained assclowns blew them all up!"
[20:29] <Green_Field> "Of course we did, they would have killed us if we hadn't."
[20:29] * Proverb winces. "I... we..." She stares at the ground.
[20:30] * Rime looks them over and her eyes focus on Harmony. "You! Queen Bitch! What you gonna do about it?"
[20:30] * Razor gives a snort at that. "You want me to throw you back inside?"
[20:31] * Harmony frowns. "I will do nothing about it if you continue to run your mouth."
[20:33] * Rime gives a sidelong glance at Razor. "I'm not talking to the muscle!" Her head whips back to Harmony. "Nothing! You make a habit of blowing up filly's houses and leaving them starving? Shit..." She pulls a cigarette from her pack and puts it in her mouth.
[20:34] <Green_Field> "We have a habit of shooting at things trying to do us harm and the fact that they were doing that is -your- fault."
[20:35] * Razor isn't in the mood to take crap from this filly. She goes in to grab her. "Fuck you too. Back in you go!"
[20:35] * Harmony groans. "That is not what I meant!" She shakes her head. "I can offer caps, perhaps travel to Chapel, if you would like. I am not sure what else we could offer. What I /meant/ is that you should attempt to be, at the very least, cordial. Calling a pony 'Queen Bitch' tends to make one feel less inclined to help."
[20:36] * Harmony glares at Razor and stops her with a hoof. "And no, we shall not be burning a filly."
[20:36] * Logic sighs. They didn't have time for this. He gently put a hoof on Razor. "Look, we're leaving and heading to Chapel. You can head there and stay quiet and we'll clear the way. Or you can stay here. I don't really care what happens to you at this point one way or another."
[20:37] * Rime flails. "Lemme go!"
[20:37] * Harmony attempts to stop Razor, anyway...
[20:38] * Razor snorts and glares. "She wants to burn, with that attitude!"
[20:38] * Green_Field starts walking to Chapel, "I agree with Logic. This is a waste of our time."
[20:38] * Rime loses her cigarette in her flailing. She focuses in on the word Chapel. "No! No Chapel! Fuck Chapel! I'm sorry!"
[20:38] * Proverb snickers.
[20:39] * Rime sniffs. "The bad things... they come out at night... and now I have no place to hide!"
[20:39] * Logic smacks his lips. "Well. We tried. See you." And then he turned around towards Chapel and kept walking.
[20:39] * Green_Field stops, "what bad things? The blobs?"
[20:40] * Harmony sighs. "Then again, I'd offer you passage to Chapel."
[20:42] * Rime snorts, she'd stomp a hoof if all of them weren't dangling off the ground. "No. Chapel. I'd rather live under the fucking Toll bridge. Colt-cuddling, parent-murdering bastard."
[20:44] * Razor leans in close to give an inspecting glare. After a few moments, she says, "You're wasting our time. Give me one reason we shouldn't just leave you to rot."
[20:44] * Green_Field sighs and starts walking again, he's not going to get info out with the others not on the same page.
[20:45] * Harmony groans. "I do not know how we can help you then!" She rubs her head exasperatedly. "You may travel with us, if you would like. /Temporarily/ until we can find you new residence."
[20:47] * Rime "You owe me! That's why! And I accept. I will accompany you until you find me a new place." She gives a nod and moves closer to Harmony now that she's been released.
[20:47] * Razor gives Harmony a glare. They're supposed to be trying to /ditch/ the dead weight. "I'm not feeding her. YOU can do that."
[20:48] * Proverb sighs, taking to the air once more.
[20:48] * Harmony sighs and nods, motioning for the filly to follow as she heads for Chapel. "We need to stop at Chapel next, just to let you know. I am Harmony, by the way, seeing as introductions were skipped..."
[20:48] * Green_Field turns to Logic as they walk, "you feeling better?"
[20:49] * Logic isn't feeling extremely talkative. "A little."
[20:50] * Rime has scooped up her runaway cigarette and lights it. "Rime... I was angry, so... sorry."
[20:50] * Harmony shrugs. "Quite alright." She glances down at the filly. "Smoking is not good for one of your age."
[20:51] <Green_Field> "Good." He doesn't say more, having learned that Logic doesn't like chatting anyway.
[20:51] * Razor gives one last glare before she falls into step with the group.
[20:52] * Rime "What enjoyable thing is?"
[20:52] * Logic shuffles in his saddlebag for a bag of chips. At least his horn seems to be able to float some things. He was grateful to Green_Field for dropping the small talk. "Logic." He said to Rime.
[20:53] * Rime looks him over. She nods to herself. "Rime. You're kinda cute. You can be my coltfriend."
[20:54] * Harmony stifles a chuckle, listening in as she continues towards Chapel.
[20:54] * Proverb giggles a little bit from her position above them.
[20:55] * Logic "Cool. We can watch all the porn." He's going to win this sarcasm-off.
[20:56] * Rime "You mean 'play porn'?"
[20:56] * Logic "No. I have all the porn."
[20:57] <Logic> "You watch porn. Or read it. Whatever."
[20:57] * Green_Field falls back to where Daisy is before he gets caught in the ackward storm.
[20:57] * Proverb would close her earholes, but has to remain alert instead.
[20:57] * Harmony wants to laugh. She really does.
[20:59] * Rime shakes her head. "You're funny. You're going to be a good coltfriend."
[21:00] * Rime darts over and kisses him on the cheek.
[21:00] * Logic blinks. This was still a sarcasm storm, right?
