  7. Fluff in progress: With pale skin and eyes the color of the setting sun this slender young lady stands out from her fellow countrymen. Found wandering the in the east as a young child she was taken in and raised in a state orphanage. A quiet young girl she was something of a savant, devouring the knowledge that was offered to her at a prodigious rate. The transition from orphanage to military was smooth as she was fast tracked to the science department, having an understanding of the lost technologies of those many years her senior or more. Given a relic she can tell its function at a glance, give an idea of how to make within 10 minutes, and have it working within the hour.

Her deployment to the 33rd Infantry Expedition Squad was something of a bureaucratic mistake, the supporting corporal who was supposed to be assigned being shuffled away and the squad in need of a medic and someone to understand the value of what they found she was slotted in. Even when this mistake was discovered, well with her not possessing the force of will to move the bureaucratic nightmare that is a transfer there was no going back without. Hastily drilling in skills she would need on the possible front lines she is no crack shot. Her mind and eyes are keen, but in combat she is little better than the newest private.

  11. Quiet in character she is not quite a wallflower, but does not typically draw attention to herself, rather immersing herself in the furthering of her knowledge. The relics of old are a sirens song to her, perhaps one of the reasons she did not fight the transfer as hard as she could have. Less safe than the carefully controlled workshops and research center that was expected, but she could find relics that no one had ever seen before, relics that couldn't be brought back to the safety of the research center even. This does appeal to her, stirring her inner desire for the answers that have been lost so long ago.

  13. Aurora often would forgo food and sleep as she worked through some arcane problem, or theorem that she had stumbled across in her readings. This only became worse when she was allowed to actually work on a few relics. Dark rings around her eyes are a common sight but she seems to bear the lack of sustenance and rest well enough. Being interrupted when she is in the middle of something particularly captivating of her mind can make her respond rather more sharply and snappishly than she would normally be prone to. She also has an annoying tenancy not to properly explain her answers, respond with a flat stare instead as if how she came to the answer should be obvious to them.

  15. While Aurora is more comfortable working on machines than people she is quite handy at patching both up, if more prone to panicking over working on a wounded person. While not scared of blood the smell does strike her strongly.

  17. Finds the ration bars appealing and rates them highly on taste much to the astonishment of anyone who has so much as looked sideways at one before. She swears that they have a lovely blend of very subtle flavors... everyone else regards them as about as tasteless as paper, and less preferable to eat as well.

  19. Possessing a bit of an oral fixation Aurora can almost always be found with something clamped between her teeth, usually a bit of metal or a tool she is working with. Little else seems to last long with how she worries away with her teeth at the item. Remarkably it's the metal 'chews' that end up damaged rather than her teeth, probably just as well that she was never prone to biting as a child.
