  25. Mike and Fred,
  26.
  27. If I understand the question correctly, the answer is that the systems
  28. are connected. We have regional networks in which information sharing is
  29. limited to that network. If a network has 25 sites, those 25 sites match
  30. against each other's reports. They can also send reports to any other
  31. site on the network and they can post reports to a network-wide bulletin
  32. board. Sites cannot share information across networks.
  33.
  34.
  35.
  36. However, we do cross-network matching here at the office. If we see
  37. cross-network matches, we will contact each affected site, explain that
  38. the individual(s) or vehicle they reported has been seen on another
  39. network, and then offer to put the affected sites into direct contact. We
  40. have not yet had a cross-network match. I think over time the different
  41. networks will begin to unite. I'm not exactly being prescient here, as
  42. there is already talk in Vegas and LA of combining their two networks.
  43. Same here in DC. Let me know if this helps or if you need further
  44. clarification.
  45.
  46.
  47.
  48. Thanks, Dan

  60. Both: Some clients are already linked, and others can be if they choose.
  61.
  62. With TrapWire all our clients feed a centralized database, so they are in
  63. affect linked.
  64.
  65. Several of our clients have also agreed to share the entirety of their SAR
  66. reporting with certain other clients where it makes sense (i.e. all the
  67. casinos in Vegas share with each other; private and public sector clients
  68. in LA share with one another; etc.)
  69.
  70.
  71.
  72. Dan: Can you give some more examples of data sharing between clients?
  73.

  84. Reasonable to say the systems are linked or can be linked? Which is more
  85. accurate? Thanks
