What went wrong in #OpRollRedRoll & why it was a #fail op.

A. {HAKER SKILLZ} There was no real technical hacking involved even though many Anons claimed to have "hacked" this or that and self proclaimed "Anonymous Hacker" or what have you, NO ONE actually hacked shit and even calling them "skidz" is a misnomer. No code, No hacks, No shells No scripts, No injections not even ddos attacks. The sum of the technical skill sets used in this operation can literally be reduced to a guy with a lucky guess...

B. {PERSONAL JESUS) #Anonymous is no one's personal army, nor should it be used for personal gain and/or notoriety. "Branding" #Anonymous to promote oneself is juxtaposed to the idea of being "anonymous". There is something very noble about the collective and what it's become. Anonymous supports Manning, Assange, Swartz, Barrett and now Snowden among many, some named, some unnamed individuals who've risks their freedom and lives for a global cause... not to sell cd's and stickers.

C. {FOOKIN NOOBZ} #OpRollRedRoll brought in lots of new blood to the hive, many not really sure what #Anonymous really stood for, if it stands for anything at all. To many of us it stands for freedom of information, of privacy, of speech and a tangible way to have your voice heard and make a difference as well as to create a better future in spite of government oppression and corruption all over the globe. It is a massive telecommunications network for real news and coordinates the fight for global social change and activism. To others it's about lulz and cats and pissing people off by being as obscene as possible. That part can't be separated from the hive though, and it is an important aspect of #Anonymous, Born of 4chan and Goatse it is from whence we came. so be it.

D. {TAG UR IT} Putting anons at risk, This is a big one and no one seems to be mentioning it. If a member of Anon is v& and questioned by the feds and that anon doesn't leak that info out to the collective immediately they've effectively fucked everyone who confides in them. Sitting on that for 2 months is completely unacceptable. it put all anons at risk. Any and every person, Anon or not, who contacted those accounts during that period should delete their accounts, open new ones and change proxies.

E. {SEND ME YOUR MONEY} this is probably the issue that has caused the most controversy. $$$DONATION$$$ which when it comes to wikileaks, or defense funds for whistle-blowers or "hacktivists" is essential, but when the Anon hasn't been formally charged it arouses suspicion of exploitation. and in this case it's of the highly publicized rape of a child. The #Free whoever hashtag should be used for anons or activists who are actually #NOTFREE

F. {SPLITTING HAIRZ} Dividing the Hive is bad... very bad... Anons get d0xed. everyone's a 'nigger" or a "faggot" the "#umads" start flying and nothing.... nothing .... nothing get's done.

G. Ultimately it's debatable whether #Anonymous and Operation RollRedRoll had any impact on the Steubenville rape case at all. It did create a lot of craziness and I imagine will for some time to come. But whether the Hive (kinda) helped or hurt in the grand scheme of things will never be known. So be it.

So that's my 2 cents...
We Are Anonymous... yadda yadda yadda you know the rest...

*Sidenote1: Having One's name "brand" "music" or otherwise linked forever with rape doesn't a good music business plan make, inherently lacking in foresight but those chickens will come home to roost in time.

*Sidenote2:  Many of these things might could be forgiven if the music and persona really wasn't so bad, and I truly wish it wasn't. I wish he could rock the mic... and I wish he wasn't selling himself and anonymous out as a bunch of no hackin' lame rhymin' cheesy ass ego driven wannabes.
