  3. [20:31] <~Garlyle> LOCATION: Southwestern Ivoryscape
  4. [20:31] <~Garlyle> WEATHER: It's snowing, just lightly
  5. [20:33] <~Garlyle> Over the past few weeks, new construction began in the area - nothing too special about it, someone just wanted to set up a shop close to the residential outlying areas. Shouldn't have been a biggie, should have gone without a hitch; even in winter weather, such things can get done.
  6. [20:34] <~Garlyle> Unfortunately, ever since New Year's Eve, a steely Pokemon has been seen passing through the Construction Site... and deconstructing what had been done the day before, essentially reverting all progress over and over.
  7. [20:34] <~Garlyle> The contractors involved in the work, as well as the prospective business owner, have sent out a contract asking for individuals willing to hunt the Pokemon responsible. Which... is why you are now here.
  8. [20:34] <~Garlyle> So far, you have seen no signs of the beast.
  9. [20:35] <Grant> (Sorry, had to solve a tech stuff)
  10. 06[20:35] * Oliver attempts to recall any other details related to this, specifically the manner of the beast reverting things.
  11. 06[20:35] * Dorin Walks along his Lucario, Axel trotting next to him. He shivers muttering under his breath about buying new shoes, and a jacket and pants, and hot coffe. His battered and tattered fadded blue uniform too thin for the weather.
  12. 06[20:36] * Grant just stands around the construction site. Accepting work from exploiters of the system was against his personal beliefs, but to rise in the Wanderer hierarchy was of great importance on his plan.
  13. [20:38] <~Garlyle> Unfortunately, very little information has come to light - most have been scared off by the ease with which this humanoid, steel-glinting figure moved everything from beams to construction vehicles.
  14. 06[20:39] * Oliver grazes his eyes over the light flakes weakly bombarding his black duster coat, looking to his left, then to his right. He sees two other individuals, his partners for this particular hunt. He can't help but grin as the Wanderers graced him with his favorite pasttime as a mission. " 'spose you are one of my wingmen for this here mission? Name's Oliver. Pleasure." He extends his hand

  16. [20:40] <Dorin> (My god I just noticed our class spread. Interesting.)
  17. 06[20:40] * Dorin Whistles for Axel to start poking around for signs of this big metal beasty as he does the same. "See it in that horathing you can do Axel?"
  18. [20:42] <Oliver> (Do I at least know if the deconstruction was clean or messy?)

  22. 06[20:43] * Grant just looks at Oliver. "...Wingmen?"

  24. 06[20:45] * Dorin <Not so far Cheif. Maybe you whould introduce yourself to the others?> "S'agood idea. Maybe they can ferret it out!" He nods to the steelfightingdog and walks over to the other two. "Hey there boys, names Dorin Malcom. You get sent on this wildswanna hunt too?"
  25. 06[20:47] * Oliver "Well yeah, y'here for the big hunt, ain'chya? Wanderers...." His voice trails off, thinking this is one of those 'thought you were that guy' situations at this point.
  26. 06[20:48] * Oliver turns to Dorin and his eyes perk up. "Ah, yeah that's us...er...me rather. Not too sure about this guy. Dorin, name's Oliver. Nice ta meet'chya." He offers his hand to Dorin with a smile.
  27. [20:49] <Grant> "...This flesh vessel is Grant Null. And our mission is what? Expel a poor creature from its habitat?"
  28. 06[20:50] * Dorin Dorin shakes it enthusiastically, his dusty gauntlets getting in the way only slightly "Nice tah meet ya Oliver...You to Grant. Any word on the 'poor critter'?"
  29. [20:52] <Dorin> "All I heard was it keeps messin' up the builder boys blocks. And noone really seen it face tah face."
  30. [20:52] <Oliver> "Somethin' along those lines. Critter's going and takin' this shop back to square one every chance it gets. And from the sounds of it, it shines. Whatever it is, gotta be strong as an ox t' do that sort of thing. And instead of wreckin' it...just taking it apart? Not exactly the dullest of types, I reckon. Steel types like t' be around metal, right?" Oliver lifts his cowboy hat up to tackle

  32. 06[20:53] * Oliver He looks to the Pokemon at Dorin's side, not ever really seeing one of those before.
  33. 06[20:54] * Dorin Shrugs "Axel don't mind not bein' around metal too much. But that's the best idea I heard so far on the subject." The lucario nods his head slightly to Oliver <Hello, sir.>
  34. 06[20:54] * Grant holds his chest, summoning FIRST from inside of his chest F Unown tattoo. The Unown floats around him. "It might be guarding its territory. Which means it's dangerous."
  35. [20:55] <Grant> "A non-violent way to make it leave is the best alternative, but do you have any idea to do that?"
  36. 06[20:56] * Oliver 's eyes go wide as he stumbles back a step. Then the mysterious floating one suddenly appears. All of this at once catches Oliver off guard. "Whatchya!? ..... Eh....heheh...sorry. Erm...Yeah, prob'ly. Best we find out why it's tearin' down the place, maybe it's a run-way? Seems a bit....smart for a wild t' do it that way. Let's try an' find where it's at first, then think about

  38. 06[20:57] * Oliver takes a few steps further into the construction site, keeping an eye out for possible tracks or remnants the creature might've left.
  39. 06[20:57] * Dorin Nods as he follows. "Wonder how a big ole boy like that is hidin' though."

  59. 06[21:00] * Oliver scuffles a laugh under his lips. "Y'see enough Pokemon in a life, y'get hunches on things like that, even if it don't seem right. Trust me....T'think how some them get t'places...Reminds me of this one time when I was on the go with this here Clefairy right? Got it'self wedged right up there in the...." He stops mid-story to look where the vehicle is coming from.

  61. [21:00] <Grant> "...Something approaches. Prepare yourselves!"
  62. 06[21:01] * Oliver "D'oh, c'mon guys. Just a car. Might be somethin' good. Might...might help us here. C'mon!" Oliver approaches to where the car started, taking cover behind whatever he can to see what's going on...in case the critter happens to be near by.
  63. [21:01] <~Garlyle> You can hear the vehicle moving through the light snowfall, and after you're done being blinded by its lights flickering on, you can make out a shape riding atop it.

  65. 06[21:02] * Oliver squints his eyes, attempting to make out the figure on top of the car. He readies himself to go just in case...

  68. [21:04] <~Garlyle> A tall body of sections that look to be made of steel rides atop it, like the ruffles of an iron dress; each section marked by a bow made of what looks to be golden thread; as you look further up, you can see an almost female face atop the highest segment.

  70. [21:04] <~Garlyle> ENTRANCE: "Deconstruction", the Gothitower--err, Gothitelle. NOW WITH SHINY.
  71. [21:04] <Dorin> "What, in the hell?"
  72. [21:05] <Oliver> "Y'got me there, Dorin. This the thing we after? S'like it's ready for a beauty show more t'en construction work. "
  73. [21:06] <~Garlyle> It raises a single hand towards the site, and you watch as beams begin to pluck themselves apart, nails and plaster flowing away.
  74. [21:06] <Grant> "What a beautiful creature. Yet, something seems wrong about it."
  75. [21:06] <~Garlyle> Clearly it's doing this through psychic powers. It could be quite the dangerous foe, but doesn't seem to have noticed you just yet... or maybe it's simply paying you no heed
  76. [21:07] <Oliver> " 'splains how it was so neat-like about takin' the place apart. Best not to get it agitated. Considerin' what it's doing with the pieces an' all."
  77. [21:07] <Grant> "Let us observe it for now, those who are called Dorin and Oliver."
  78. 06[21:08] * Dorin Shrugs "If you two say so. I think it'd be pretty easy t'take it down."
  79. [21:08] <~Garlyle> Its work in deconstructing the construction site is surprisingly precise and careful... but it's definitely doing exactly what you were sent here to stop.
  80. 06[21:09] * Dorin Starts to walk towards the truck and the STEELMINDGOTH.
  81. [21:09] <Grant> "Truly, it shows how it's true to her name. Deconstruction indeed."
  82. [21:10] <~Garlyle> When Dorin takes a couple steps forward, the lady atop the bulldozer turns sharply and suddenly towards you, finally taking note.
  83. [21:10] <Dorin> "Hey Deconstructo, would ya mind cuttin' that out? Ya have folks all in a tizzy about it."
  84. 06[21:10] * Oliver thinks for a moment, then looks to the others. After a moment, he notices Dorin approaching the vehicle. He keeps his hand to his side, waiting to see just how observant the creature was of his presence. He attempts to conceal himself to the best of his ability in his spot while still having a clear shot of the truck.

Compacted at first, the two arms spring upward and clack into place with the sound of rocks smacking together. He draws an arrow from his quiver, taking aim and letting loose the projectile at the beast.
