	Layla: 	Then yes?

Avara: 	(greetings! we will be your creepy lurky stalkers this evening)
Kaorin Sakura: 	Nah, you're good Mike.
Danny: 	( lol )
DNA: 	I'm totally used to this.
DNA: 	I've got like...ten stalkers
Kaorin Sakura: 	Alright then!
Kaorin Sakura: 	I'll just move you guys.
Kaorin Sakura: 	So, choose a time and we shall wake.
	Jupiter: 	zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Danny: 	9am.
	Jupiter: 	...wait what's that noise
	Danny: 	Danny is snoring very loudly.
	Venec: 	(Venec choses to sleep more than 4 hours)
Kaorin Sakura: 	Come to a conclusion.
	Cepheus: 	Cepheus was sleeping quietly, hands folded, head staring at the ceiling.
	Venec: 	(1:00pm?)
	Danny: 	Danny, though asleep, agrees with the census that less than 4 hours sleep is a bad idea. 1:00pm is way better.
DNA: 	1pm sounds cool by me too.
Kaorin Sakura: 	Team Oak had just finished havign their moments in the early morning of Viridian City. Meeting their beloved missed Pokémon, chatting with G.Oak again and visiting the local Café. Realizing that they haven't slept in over 24 hours, the gang retreat to the Pokémon Center for some much needed shut eye. At around one in the afternoon people begin to stir awake. Welcome to the World of Pokémon!
	Cepheus: 	Cepheus saw the rays of sunlight peep in through his window. They were exceptionally bright - it had to be near midday. He glanced at his watch...1pm. He gradually rose up out of his slumber.
	Danny: 	Danny was glad to be awake, for all his Dailys had been restored, though that more OOC knowledge. Danny was simply happy to be awake and well-rested for a change. Time seemed to have no meaning when you were fighting evil organisation, marching all around dark, dingy forests. And killing furry animals indistriminately.
	Jupiter: 	Jupiter hummed softly, having until now been sleeping quietly on the floor. Now awake, he whirred to life and got back to floating.
	Venec: 	Venec slowly mumbled awake, feeling warmer than he usually did in the morning. Perhaps it was all the nearby fire pokemon, but Venec had the feeling that something was pressed against his chest for most of the evening. With a flop he rolled to his stomach and pushed himself up to his knees, rubbed his eyes and yawned with a stretch.
* Grace rolled over in her sleep mumbling to herself, sprawled all over the bed.
	Cepheus: 	"...That was relaxing. You two awake?"
	Larry: 	Larry was awake before Danny, sitting by the window sill of the room the pair stayed in, looking wonderously outside at the clear, perfect township of Viridian. Larry felt today would be a good day, his feelings set across his face, his expression calm and collected. He turned to Danny as his master began to stir awake from his slumber.
	Danny: 	"I'm awake!"
	Cepheus: 	"...Eh, I'll let her sleep in for a bit."
* Lucy had already been standing, "Good morning."
	Danny: 	Danny jumped upright! He looked around, ready to karate chop anything that moved.
	Venec: 	"Morning." Venec mumbled, putting on the best smile his weary face could manage. "Sleep well?"
DNA: 	Slowly but purposefully arising from sleep, Cepheus took a few minutes to freshen up and prepare himself for the day ahead. Today, they were going to tackle a rather interesting set of mental challenges, and he wanted his mind to be at full power as they did so.
	Venec: 	Venec started collecting his things together, letting Layla and the pile of pokemon around her get some more sleep.
* Lucy handed Venec a toothbrush with some toothpaste already on it.
	Danny: 	Danny, followed by Larry, headed for the kitchen to grab some food.
	Lucy: 	"Hygiene, ser."
DNA: 	It took Cepheus only about 5 minutes to wash his face, brush his teeth, take a shower, and change into a fresh set of clothes. Yep, he was ready. Jupiter had been waiting in the same splot the whole time, and Grace was...still sleeping.
	Venec: 	"Um... thanks." Venec didn't know how to react and sounded more like he was asking a question. He looked at the toothbrush for a moment; Venec rarely brushed his teeth but also rarely ate sugar or drank anything acidic so he didn't much have to. Nonetheless he shoved the brush in his mouth and started brushing on his way to the sink.
	Larry: 	Larry had already taught Danny a good morning routine ever since he was a Slowpoke. "Remember," he reminded his trainer, "we can eat first, then you can shower and brush your teeth. I want you to be wearing a fresh pair of underwear and socks."
	Grace: 	"....No..no...Ceph-chan...yo-you....mus----zzzzzz"
	Danny: 	"Okay, Larry," Danny responded. Danny thought for a moment. "You don't need to sound like my momma, though."
	Cepheus: 	"...I think I'll leave her be for now. Jupiter, you wouldn't mind watching her, would you?"
* Jupiter shook his head 'not at all'.
	Venec: 	As Venec washed his face he glanced down to the shirt he had slept in. With a rejective sigh he took it off for the first time in the last five days and smelled it, "Well, gonna need to wash this one." He glanced to his pants, changed even less often than his shirts, and frowned.
	Lucy: 	"Ser, you wash yourself. Floss. Mouthwash. We travel hard and long and often without this care. I will wash your clothes."
	Jupiter: 	Jupiter watched Grace from a distance, waiting for her to wake up. Cepheus was still in the room getting his things ready, but probably wouldn't be for long - in a short while he'd probably head to the lobby to join the rest.
	Venec: 	"...kay. ...Thank you..." Venec eyed her suspiciously. He found a towel, stripped down to his underwear, tied it around his waist and walked off to find the bath he'd used just a few days before.
* Lucy clears her throat.
	Lucy: 	"Undies. Give 'em."
	Layla: 	Layla whined softly, kicking her leg under a pile of pokemon. Rousing slowly she wiggled out from all of her Little Sisters and wobbled into the center of the room.
	Venec: 	Venec stopped, looked down, grumbled something and reached under his towel, pulling his boxers off from under it and tossing it to the pile of his other clothes. Still looking down in vain effort to hide his face he contined to the bath.
	Cepheus: 	Cepheus took out a small journal from his backpack and began flipping through it. Most of it was just observations he'd made about various people and objects, mostly from before joining up with Team Oak. If the gym was really a challenge about knowledge, he wanted to be ready. He looked over his shoulder to check on Grace...was she awake yet?
	Danny: 	Danny was already eating some cereal, stil in his green nightgown.
* Lucy grabs Venec's clothes and takes it down to the wash to wash it. Setting it to low and high heat times for quick cleaning. She stands in front of it, tapping her foot as she waits.
* Grace gives a loud yawn as she stretches and finally awakens. She smacks her lips a few times before standing and moving toward the bathroom. She closes the door and locks it. From behind the door you can hear the sound of dual water running.
	Cepheus: 	"Good, she's up. That means we can head out soon." He kept flicking through his journal. Jupiter was peeking over his shoulder.
* Lucy returns back to Venec's room with freshly washed and dried clothes and places them back where they were found.
	Cepheus: 	"This? You've seen this before; it's my notebook of all the things I've seen."
	Larry: 	Larry, by Danny's side, suggests that the pair take advantage of all the ameneties of the PokeMon Center. "You should let everybody out to eat and have some fresh air, Danny," Larry suggested. Larry had been kind enough to bring Danny's bag full of Poke Balls.
	Larry: 	He freed everybody else from their Poke Ball, except Curly the Steelix.
	Venec: 	Venec continued to walk to the open bath on the first floor, heading to the men's side and washing off before going into the public bath.
	Larry: 	Larry freed Curly outside.
	Layla: 	Layla nuzzled and licked Lucy's hand. (Morning Big Sister!)
* Curly lands on the ground outside with a loud crash.
	Curly: 	"Ggrraaahahaha!!!
	Cepheus: 	Cepheus then counted the Poke Balls at his belt to make sure everyone was there. He could release two of them indoors; the other two he couldn't.
* Curly slowly lowers is head down to Larry's level and nods ot him.
	Cepheus: 	Ah, just as well. The Lampent was a bit of a rascal and the Swablu had a weird habit of sitting on his head.
	Larry: 	Larry smiled at Curly. "Hi, Curly," Larry greeted the large PokeMon. "Danny is just waking up and eating cereal. I told to let everybody out and give them some fresh air. You just relax out here for the time being, okay?"
	Larry: 	Larry then released Andy the Gyarodos. "I want you to meet Andy."
* Andy is released out and lands with a not-as-thunderous crash and quickly turns to the eldery man below.
	Andy: 	"Rrrrraaggagh!!"
	Gentleman: 	"My, what marvelous Pokémon."
	Andy: 	...
	Larry: 	Larry turned to the elderly man. "Hello, goodfellow," Larry smiled. "That PokeMon is Andy, and I am Larry."
	Larry: 	Larry pointed to the Steelix. "That is Curly."
	Gentleman: 	"Greetings to all of you. It has been quite some time since I've met a talking Pokémon. Are you a Trainer perhaps?"
	Venec: 	The heated water off the bath felt strange. Venec frowned to himself as he looked around the empty bath, only he was using it this time of day. "I guess it's too late in the afternoon to really enjoy it." Venec sighed and stepped out to dry off.
	Jupiter: 	Jupiter kept staring impatiently at the closed door. He could hear the shower running still, but he wanted to get outside and leave already, and was growing impatient.
	Layla: 	(Gasp! There is a new sister!) Layla barked to the Meloetta.
	Larry: 	"No," Larry answered. "Our trainer is inside eating breakfast. He just woke up."
DNA: 	A faint buzzing noise accompanied that. "Jupiter, calm down," Cepheus chided. "We can wait a few minutes."
* Meloetta glances to the Growlithe and smiles.
	Meloetta: 	"Hello there, little fire dance."
	Layla: 	Layla happily reared up to her hind legs and quickly hopped over to the new team member, pacing in circles around her. (Hello hello! My name is Layla! I like Little FIre Dance though! You can call me that too!)
	Layla: 	(What's your name?)
	Meloetta: 	"I am not sure. Master hasn't renamed me."
	Lucy: 	"I thought he agreed not to name you."
	Layla: 	(What was your old name? That can be a secret name! Between us!)
	Meloetta: 	"Neukorma."
	Layla: 	(Ooooohh!)
	Danny: 	Danny, finally awake after eating breakfast, decided to go the PokeCenter's kitchen and begin rummaging around for recipe bases to make some food for his PokeMon.
Kaorin Sakura: 	Home Cooking?
	Danny: 	He knew all their dietry needs, and could easily accomodate them by borrowing stuff here.
	Danny: 	Yes.
Kaorin Sakura: 	Make your roll!
	Venec: 	Venec walked back into the room, towel around his waist, dripping wet. He beamed to everyone, morning grogginess washed away. "Good morning, seems everyone's getting up now."
Kaorin Sakura: 	1D4+WIS MOD
	Neukorma: 	"G'morning, ser."
* Lucy smiles to Venec as he stepped in.
	Lucy: 	"Clothes are ready."
* Lucy points to the pile of clean laundry.
	Venec: 	"Awesome. Thank you." He walked over, joking, "As much as I like to go go around naked..."
* Danny rolls: 1d4+6 => 4 + 6 = 10
Kaorin Sakura: 	You can feed up to 10 people+/or Pokemon.
* Grace stepped out of the bathroom of which poured out a ton of steam. Grace stretched and smiled to everyone.
Danny: 	Danny will feed Steelix, Gyarodos, Larry, Caterpie, and Dragonaire.
	Grace: 	"What're we doing today?"
Danny: 	Does Haunter need to be fed?
	Venec: 	Venec threw on his coat first and proceeded to get dressed under its cover. He returned his three still-sleeping pokemon and nodded to the others, "Shall we go wait in the lobby?"
	Cepheus: 	"Tackling the gym, with all our collective knowledge."
	Grace: 	"Gym! This'll be awesome!"
* Lucy nods.
	Neukorma: 	"Mmm...I think I'll be carried in the Pokéball, if I may, ser."
	Cepheus: 	"And hopefully one in which we don't need to fight - we can take this one on with our minds."
	Jupiter: 	Jupiter glanced back and forth between Cepheus and Grace. He felt like a weird mind-mold moment would happen between the two of them any second now.
	Venec: 	"If you wish." Venec returned Neukorma, starting to wonder where the 'ser' had come from.
	Grace: 	"A battle is a battle, mind or force."
	Jupiter: 	(I wish I had a knife so I could cut the thick tension in here...) Jupiter thought. (Also, ew, steam!) He rose a bit higher in the air to get away from it.
Venec: 	Venec proceeded to walk downstairs, "Say Lucy, you and Neukorma seem to be doing better."
	Danny: 	Danny, still in his nightgown, had finished a lot of food.
	Danny: 	He exited the place and went to feed all of his PokeMon.
	Lucy: 	"I spoke with her this morning. We melded briefly. Our personalities are a bit shared temporarily. She's from our ancient history. So, I brought her to speed with the current times."
	Danny: 	Wiggles, Dandy, and Boo were released from their Poke Balls.
	Cepheus: 	"All right...Let's go then, shall we?"
	Venec: 	"Oh. I'll have to talk with her about what that's like. It sounds very interesting."
	Danny: 	"Here, guys," he said. "This is your grub!"
	Danny: 	He fed the Steelix and Gyarodos quite confidently.
* Jupiter rushed out of the room to get away from the steam. He had a fear of rusting, though it probably wouldn't have happened.
	Grace: 	"Should we meet up with the others?"
	Cepheus: 	"Probably, yeah."
	Grace: 	"Let's go!"
* Grace takes Cepheus by the hand and heads out of the door toward the lobby.
	Cepheus: 	"Right!"
* Cepheus dashed out of the room with Grace, going to rejoin the rest.
	Venec: 	"Good-" Venec looked at the clock, "afternoon!"
* Jupiter had to spin off to the side so they wouldn't run into him, they were running so fast.
	Jupiter: 	(They're way too excited about waking up...)
	Layla: 	(Little Sister is here too!) Layla ran around Grace.
	Larry: 	Larry, finishing his incredibly delicious meal, which the reason he adored Danny very much, decided to take the leftovers to the other party members.
	Grace: 	"...Why am I still little sister?"
	Layla: 	Layla looked confused.
	Larry: 	Larry entered the PokeMon Center with meals offered to everybody present.
	Larry: 	"Danny made food!"
	Venec: 	"Is it good?"
	Larry: 	"I ate some, and I feel fantastic!"
	Larry: 	Larry smiled happily.
	Venec: 	"Well then I'd love some."
	Larry: 	He offered some to Layla first.
	Larry: 	Then to Venec.
	Layla: 	(Thanks BIg Brother!) She munched away happily.
	Layla: 	Layla was instantly distracted.
	Larry: 	Larry then offered the last to Grace, Cepheus and Lucy. "It's food specially made for the diet of a PokeMon," Larry told Lucy.
	Lucy: 	"Thank you, but I ate this morning already. I had some Starly with a side of Weedle."
	Jupiter: 	(Ewww.....)
	Grace: 	"...Whatever your species is, scares me."
	Larry: 	"Danny made you waffles, Grace."
	Cepheus: 	"If there are no other offers, I'll accept, Larry."
	Lucy: 	"Don't worry, I only eat males."
	Layla: 	Layla noticed that Jupiter was getting close to her. (Grrr.....)
	Grace: 	"...You stay away from Ceph-chan, you hear?"
	Lucy: 	"...Now there's a thought. Humans. I've never eaten one before."
	Grace: 	"..."
	Danny: 	Danny waited until his PokeMon had finished eating; all of them. Then he returned them all to their Poke Balls.
	Cepheus: 	"...I feel uncomfortable."
	Venec: 	"The thought of eating talkers always bothered me."
	Danny: 	He reentered the PokeCenter.
	Danny: 	In a green nightgown.
	Lucy: 	"..."
	Venec: 	Venec was fairly unfazed. After hunting his own food in the woods he'd gotten used to the morality problems inherent in intellegent prey.
	Lucy: 	"Danny, stop being sexy and go get dressed."
	Cepheus: 	"....Danny is definitely not sexy," Cepheus interjected.
	Venec: 	"Wouldn't say that." Venec replied to Cepheus.
	Lucy: 	"He is in that outfit."
	Lucy: 	"And with that Charisma."
	Lucy: 	"And...dammit, Danny. Put on proper clothes and stop flustering the women."
	Cepheus: 	"...Still not sexy."
	Grace: 	"I'm not flustered."
	Lucy: 	"...I will not begin on what's wrong with you. I'm still angry at you."
	Danny: 	Danny, with his frilly gown flapping breezily in the wind, whipping lashishly as he stepped across the foyer like a model with feline grace, went to his room to have a quick shower. He brushed his teeth and got changed.
	Layla: 	Layla was too distracted defending her food from the imaginary threat of Jupiter.
	Grace: 	"Wh--ohhh."
	Lucy: 	"Do it again and I'mma deck you."
	Cepheus: 	"...I don't think we need any more casualties after yesterday, do you agree?"
* Grace huffed.
	Grace: 	"Fiiine."
* Cepheus patted Grace on the head.
	Larry: 	Larry followed behind Danny, making sure he changed his underwear, making sure was dressed all spick and spam.
	Cepheus: 	"...You mean a bit too much to me to get into petty fights."
	Venec: 	"So what's the plan today?"
	Larry: 	Larry folded Danny's clothes out for when he got out of the shower, then proceeded to rejoin the group in the main foyer.
	Grace: 	"Fine. You'll just need to challenge Venec to a battle later in the year."
	Grace: 	"Gym Challenge!"
	Larry: 	"I agree with Grace," Larry stated.
	Larry: 	He remained rather stoic after the fact.
	Cepheus: 	"I was under the impression that the gym challenge was today's plan, yes."
	Venec: 	"Sounds like fun. I'm not sure if I'll be anything but a failsafe if the questions wrong. Unless we're dealing with Myths of the Forest I'm pretty much useless."
	Cepheus: 	"Grace and I could probably handle most of the questions, so if they let us go in as a group, that'd be a good option."
	Lucy: 	"Gyms allow groups of Trainers. It's a law."
	Venec: 	"Convenient. Alright, lets head out!" Venec made his way to the door.
	Larry: 	Larry waited for Danny to finish getting ready.
	Cepheus: 	"Huh, didn't know that was the case over here. All right, sounds like a plan."
	Danny: 	Just in the nick of time, Danny showed up again, this time completely dressed and ready for action.
	Danny: 	"Your fearless leader is here!"
	Cepheus: 	"Actually, he's outside."
	Danny: 	Unfortunately, people had already began leaving the building...
	Cepheus: 	"Now, let's get going. We have some tests to ace."
	Venec: 	Venec walked outside and stretched in the noon sun. Noticing a small, fuzzy and adorable pokemon to the side he took out his dex and scanned it.
	Danny: 	Danny ran out of the Center, intent on leading the group!
	Gentleman: 	"Good Morning everyone. Good luck at the Gym."
	Danny: 	Danny looked at the old man, "Hey! Thank, Old Guy!"
	Danny: 	Danny gave him the thumbs up.
	Jupiter: 	(He sounds like a stalker...)
* Cepheus didn't comment based on how off-the-cuff that comment seemed to be. Had this old man been eavesdropping or something?
* Grace nudges Cepheus.
	Layla: 	(GASP! Scary Ball Thing can talk!?) Layla hopped over and barked in awe.
	Grace: 	"Did we scan that?"
* Grace points to the Pichu in the distance.
* Pichu turns as it suddenly feels eyes on it.
	Venec: 	"Waiting for the thing to work..."
	Cepheus: 	"I don't think so; let's do so right now." He flipped out the machine and casually pointed it that way.
	Larry: 	Larry looked at the Pichu and smiled serenely. "Don't fear," Larry soothed the creature, "we mean no harm."
	Jupiter: 	(I am not a scary ball thing!)
Kaorin Sakura: 	"Pichu, the Tiny Mouse Pokémon. Electric type. The electric sacs in its cheeks are small. If even a little electricity leaks, it becomes shocked."
	Layla: 	(You are too!)
	Jupiter: 	(...I'm a highly concentrated magnetic field machine, and I moonlight as a Boundary Interface Prime Field Device.)
	Jupiter: 	(I am not a 'scary ball thing'.)
	Venec: 	(But!) Layla argued. She didn't have a longer argument, so she unfortunately left it at tha.

	Venec: 	Venec glanced at his device, "Must be lagging."
DNA: 	(*points up about 10 lines*)
	Danny: 	Danny felt more compelled to scan the older genlteman.
Kaorin Sakura: 	"Pichu, the Tiny Mouse Pokémon. Electric type. Pichu charges itself with electricity more easily on days with thunderclouds or when the air is very dry. You can hear the crackling of static electricity coming off this Pokémon."
	Cepheus: 	"Charges itself on dry or thundery days? Good to know."
	Layla: 	Layla walked back to Venec. The last word of the argument was hers, that meant she won!
	Danny: 	Danny, waiting for his 'dex to load up, continues to scan the older gentleman.
	Danny: 	"Watch this, Old Guy! It's the coolest thing ever!"
	Venec: 	Venec held his device by his side, ready to use it on any other pokemon they bumped into on the way.
Kaorin Sakura: 	"Hilton Jackson, famous Fire, Water, Electric and Grass Move Tutor. From the Sinnoh region. He currently resides in the Viridian City as part of a retirement agreement from the Sinnoh Battle Tower, where he used to help tutor the Tower Tycoons Pokémon."
	Cepheus: 	(Hilton Jackson? That name sounds a little familiar...Maybe it was in a newspaper once?)
	Danny: 	"Wow! Old Guy is totally awesome and knowledgeable!"
	Danny: 	"He wished us luck, too! How lucky!"
* Hilton chuckled.
	Hilton: 	"Been an even longer while since I've been scanned."
	Venec: 	Venec took a few steps forward, knowing it was the easiest prompt Danny needed to charge ahead blindly.
	Danny: 	"I'm first!"
	Danny: 	He charged ahead!
	Cepheus: 	Cepheus quietly cleared his throat, feeling embarrassed that Danny did that. "Erm...good day to you too, sir," he said, and scurried off with the others.
	Danny: 	Danny stormed ahead, not looking back, intent on being the leader of this rag-tag group.
	Venec: 	Venec smiled as he did, enjoying a leasurely pace. He looked to Lucy, "Say, have you met my mother before? The pokedex said she worked for Scion."
	Lucy: 	"...Yes."
	Venec: 	".... not good?"
	Lucy: 	"...She chose my species."
	Cepheus: 	"...Grace, how far does your knowledge extend? I'm curious."
	Danny: 	"Out of curiosity... where is the GYM?"
	Venec: 	"I didn't even know what she did. She usually evaded that question."
	Grace: 	"What I've experienced."
	Venec: 	Venec turned to Danny, "Left here, to the end of road, left again."
	Cepheus: 	"...I think it's in the northeast of town," he called to Danny. Then to Grace, "...You've experienced quite a lot though, have you not?"
	Lucy: 	"She's very high ranking and wears a lot of hats in Scion. She doesn't do any one thing."
	Grace: 	"I've traveled regions."
	Danny: 	"I say we go left!"
	Venec: 	"Huh. I usually live with her for a month or two a year."
	Cepheus: 	"...And what kinds of things have you seen, then?"
	Lucy: 	"That explains her random lapses of absences."
	Grace: 	"Death."
	Danny: 	Danny, alongside Larry, marched ahead at a strong pace!
	Venec: 	Venec paused at the street's corner to scan a bird pokemon.
	Grace: 	"That's the most of what I've seen."
	Danny: 	"Hurry up, slowpoke!"
	Cepheus: 	"......"
	Cepheus: 	"...I'm sorry."
	Cepheus: 	"I didn't mean to bring up bad memories."
	Danny: 	Danny suddenly turned to Larry with an apologetic expression. "Sorry, Larry. No offense."
Kaorin Sakura: 	"Starly, the Starling Pokémon. Normal and Flying type. Because they are weak individually, they form groups. However, they bicker if the group grows too big."
	Larry: 	Larry seemed pretty cheerful. "None taken."
	Venec: 	"What's she like at work?" Venec was now curious.

Kaorin Sakura: 	"Pidove, the Tiny Pigeon Pokémon. Normal and Flying type. These Pokémon live in cities. They are accustomed to people. Flocks often gather in parks and plazas."
	Venec: 	Venec scanned the other pokemon poking out of the water, "I'll catch up you guys! Don't worry about me!"

Kaorin Sakura: 	"Totodile, the Big Jaw Pokémon. Water type. It has the habit of biting anything with its developed jaws. Even its Trainer needs to be careful."

	Venec: 	Venec jogged to catch up!
	Lucy: 	"Your mother has made some mistakes, but no one holds it against her. Everyone respects her."
	Venec: 	"That's good to hear. She's always worked hard from what I've seen. As hard as my dad does easy. But I'm not much for studying so I never knew how to respect what she does..."
	Lucy: 	"She made me possible. What does that tell you."

	Venec: 	Venec waved to the small pokemon as he walked by, "I scanned one of those before.
* Gothita tilted her head curiously.
	Venec: 	Venec stopped againto watch the pokemon, scanning the both of them.
	Venec: 	Venec continued to walk along the side of the street, once again scanning pokemon as he passed.
Kaorin Sakura: 	"Mime Jr, the Mime Pokémon. Psychic type. It mimics the expressions and motions of those it sees to understand the feelings of others."
	Danny: 	"Me first! I am the leader!"
	Venec: 	"Hey! Ratatta! I've always wanted one of those!"
	Venec: 	Venec took out a pokeball and ran across the street toward the two feuding pokemon on the other side.
* Glameow turns to see the Trainer and hisses angrily.
	Venec: 	Venec hissed back!
	Danny: 	Danny looked at the rat and then the cat.
	Danny: 	"That cat is totally ugly," Danny noted, "but that rat is totally adorable!"
* Rattata takes this opportunity to strike.

Kaorin Sakura: 	"Rattata, the Mouse Pokémon. Normal type. Cautious in the extreme, its hardy vitality lets it live in any kind of environment."
* Rattata suddenly moves too quick to notice.

	Venec: 	Venec threw his pokeball! (assuming it lost it's turn, but will interupt him again anyway)

Kaorin Sakura: 	The heavily injured and infactuated Rattata is swiftly caught by the Pokéball. It doesn't even get the chance to shake before you hear the ring of a successful capture.
	Venec: 	"Whew... I never thought I'd have to hold back against a pokemon. I must really be getting better, an assault like that would have nearly killed me a week ago."
Kaorin Sakura: 	The ball suddenly glows---poof--and it's gone!
	Cepheus: 	"Nearly kill you? I thought you worked out frequently, even before joining this group."
	Venec: 	"Sorry about that guys." Venec said sheepishly. "I've always wanted one, scrappy little things."
	Larry: 	"We should head straight for the GYM now," Larry suggested.
	Venec: 	"Yeah." Venec replied, resisting his temptation to chase after a cubone in the distance.
	Danny: 	Danny rushed forward. "Me first!"
	Danny: 	He went across the narrow ledging to the staircase that led to the fabled GYM of grand tales!
	Danny: 	"HURRY UP GUYS!"
	Venec: 	"Right here!"
	Cepheus: 	"Hold your horses, Danny; I'm coming."
	Danny: 	Danny ran straight to the GYM, coming at the door, then bashed at the door without mercy.
	Danny: 	"We're here to battle! Challengers! ASSEMBLE!"
	Venec: 	"Gym Leader: Gary Oak." Venec read off the sign.
Kaorin Sakura: 	The Gym looms over you with warning signs plastered all over the building. "Come to Aureate to test your knowledge! Only when you learned what it means to be a Trainer will you obtain the Aureate badge!"
	Cepheus: 	"Sounds like something right up my alley."
	Danny: 	BASH! BASH! BASH! "Open up!"
Kaorin Sakura: 	The doors open on its own as you touch them.
	Danny: 	"Sweet!"
	Danny: 	Danny rushed inside.
	Cepheus: 	"...self-opening doors. Interesting." He walked in, slowly. "Shall we?"
Kaorin Sakura: 	The Gym is brightly lit and gold, with sparkling halls and posters of famous Professors from around the world.
	Venec: 	"Lucy, this is going to be a gym challenge and for now I think I can only have one pokemon at a time. I really want to have Layla get some practice..." His voice trailed off.
Kaorin Sakura: 	On the side, it has the a clock with a countdown to the League's next opening.
	Cepheus: 	"...Astonishing. All the names and faces of great researchers gone before us."
	Lucy: 	"I'll wait outside."
	Jupiter: 	Jupiter nudged Cepheus and pointed at a random point on the wall that looked a little bare, then nudged him again and winked.
	Cepheus: 	"As flattering as that may be, I doubt I'd ever get a picture up here."
	Venec: 	For a second he was surprised, but then he remembered she did say she wasn't going to follow his orders. He nodded, "All right, wish us luck."
	Lucy: 	"Good luck, Venec. Come back with that badge and make your father proud."
* Lucy turned and exited the building.
	Danny: 	"You could do it Ceph! You're the smartest person I have ever met!"
	Cepheus: 	"...How many people have you met?"
	Danny: 	"Well, not as smart as Larry," Danny clarified.
	Venec: 	"C

	Cepheus: 	"...Glad to hear I made your list."
	Venec: 	"C'mon Layla! Lets go!"
	Danny: 	Larry counted using his hands, then looked at his feet to help count, too.

Kaorin Sakura: 	There floated a sign that was made entirely out of Unowns that spelled out, "Challengers, follow this corridor." The hallway they floated over was just to your right and was coloured silver.
	Cepheus: 	"...Are those Unown real? or just figments?"
	Jupiter: 	Jupiter floated over to go touch one to see which.
	Venec: 	"I think we have to go that way." Venec said, a little slow at reading Unown.
	Cepheus: 	"It's down the silver corridor, off to the right."
Kaorin Sakura: 	The Unown moves away from Jupiter.
	Jupiter: 	(...It's real.)
	Jupiter: 	He went to go rejoin the rest of the group.
	Danny: 	Danny ran down the corridor as indicated in pursuit of his dream of being awesome, famous and cool!
Kaorin Sakura: 	Once the corridor has been traversed, it leads you to a square 15x15ft. room with a closed mechanical door in front of you. As you all fully enter the room, the door shuts behind you and you hear a hissing down as the air pressure in the room suddenly intensifies.
	Venec: 	Venec jogged lightly behind. Being in better shape he easliy kept up with Danny ahead of him.
	Cepheus: 	"...We're locked in? And the air here feels...thicker..."
	G.Oak: 	Gary's voice suddenly resounds into the room.
	Venec: 	"We never learned the color of this Gym, did we."
	G.Oak: 	"Welcome challengers to Aureate. As you progress through each of these chambers, I will ask you a question."
	Jupiter: 	Jupiter chose to recall himself, seeing since he couldn't talk he'd be no good here.
	G.Oak: 	"Answer correctly, and you will proceed to the next room. Answer incorrectly, and you will face a horde of Pokémon that will attempt to devour each of you."
	G.Oak: 	"Defeat them, and you may leave or continue. Lose, and there will be a funeral in your honor next week, Monday."
	Cepheus: 	"...How morbid."
	Cepheus: 	"...I can't tell if he's being serious or joking."
	G.Oak: 	"Is that you, Cepheus?"

	Venec: 	"Does that mean I get to fight too?"
	Danny: 	"At least promise to hire my mother for the burial!"
	G.Oak: 	"That means Team Oak is here to challenge me, this is intriguing. And yes, I'm serious."
	Cepheus: 	"..."
	Cepheus: 	"I have no intention of dying."
	G.Oak: 	"That just means, don't answer wrong. You will have 10 minutes to come up with the answer."
	Danny: 	"My mother is a gravedigger," Danny clarified for everybody present.
	Cepheus: 	"There's too much for me to live for to die now."
	Danny: 	"Like what?"
	G.Oak: 	"First question:"
	Venec: 	"You hear that Grace? If things get too ugly you can teleport Cepheus out of here, right?"
	Danny: 	"I'm ready!"
	Cepheus: 	"And leave you all behind?"
	Grace: 	"I can't sense anything beyond these walls...I'm not sure if I can or not."
	Larry: 	Larry seemed rather calm as he listened to the question.
	Venec: 	Venec shrugged, "You're the one we're dragging here, I want to fight."
	G.Oak: 	"What Pokémon grows fruit on its body and generously shares it with others?"
	Cepheus: 	"Tropius."
	G.Oak: 	"Correct."
Kaorin Sakura: 	The mechanical doors in front of you open and the air pressure decreases.
	Cepheus: 	"This air pressure might make it rather tricky to breathe later...Let's keep going.
	Danny: 	"Yeah! We rock!"
	Danny: 	Danny rushed forward along with Larry.
	Venec: 	Venec followed after them.
DNA: 	Cepheus cautiously stepped forward into the next room, with Grace right next to him. He was walking slowly but purposefully, just anticipating something weird to happen next.
	Danny: 	"C'mon! Professor G! Give us your WORST!"
	Danny: 	Danny taunted the good professor.
	Venec: 	"Don't goad him."
	Cepheus: 	"It's not wise to bite the hand that feeds you, Danny."
	Danny: 	"I will! GOAD GOAD GOAD!"
Kaorin Sakura: 	The next room looks the same as the previous one. The doors quickly shut behind all of you and locks, giving another hiss of air as the air pressure increases again, but no more than before.
	G.Oak: 	"Welcome to the next room. Second Question:"
	Layla: 	Layla barked along with the "GOAD!", mistaking it for barking.
	G.Oak: 	"What Pokémon leaves behind an egg when it disappears into a forest?"
	Cepheus: 	"...Wait, I think I know tihs one."
	Cepheus: 	"Before I answer, what's the penalty for a wrong answer?"
	Venec: 	Venec crossed his arms, he felt as if he knew this one too.
	G.Oak: 	"Pokémon will attempt to devour you."
	Cepheus: 	"...I'm going to answer Celebi."
	Danny: 	Danny, was a little unsure...
	G.Oak: 	"Correct."
	Danny: 	"I don't even know what that PokeMon is!"
	Cepheus: 	"Just making sure I didn't answer in haste."
	Venec: 	"Thought I knew it..."
	Danny: 	Danny then rushed forward, heading to the next available room!
* Cepheus walked forward, again with Grace by his side. He hoped the rest of the questions would remain this easy, but that was probably just wishful thinking.
Kaorin Sakura: 	The doors open and allows all of you to proceed into the next area, of which closes and locks behind all of you again. Pressurized air applies.
	Cepheus: 	"Ugh, how many more of these rooms..."
	Venec: 	"Rule of three?" Venec asked.
Mike is disconnected.
	Cepheus: 	"Rule of what-now?"
	Venec: 	"Tasks like this tend to come in threes. Videogames, movies, jokes, it's a common format."
	Cepheus: 	"...Is this a videogame, a movie, or a joke, Venec?"
	Danny: 	"It's real life!"
	G.Oak: 	"Third question:"
	Venec: 	"Kind of? Someone built it. Someone expected us to fight at least 3 times."
	Cepheus: 	"...Hmm."
	G.Oak: 	"What Pokémon's body is dry and dislikes water despite being covered in dew on cold nights?"
	Cepheus: 	"...ugh...not sure about this one..."

	Venec: 	Venec folded his arms and thought. A moment passed and he looked up, "I assume we can't use a pokedex?"
	Venec: 	"Wait... wasn't sandshrew something like that?" Venec asked Cepheus.
	Danny: 	Danny thought... hmmmm...
	Cepheus: 	"...I don't know. I wasn't there when you scanned the Sandshrew."
	Cepheus: 	"It makes sense for an answer, but I don't know for sure."
	Venec: 	"Did I? I just thought I read that somewhere."
	Venec: 	Venec looked up to see if Sandshrew was in his pokedex.
	Cepheus: 	"...Let's look up Sandshrew in the Pokedex and see what comes up."
Kaorin Sakura: 	"Sandshrew, the Mouse Pokémon. Ground type. To protect itself from attackers, it curls up into a ball. It lives in arid regions with minimal rainfall."
	Venec: 	"Could be..." He tried to see if he had any more info.
* Cepheus scrolled through the Sandshrew page to see what else came up
Kaorin Sakura: 	Disliking water, it lives in deep burrows in arid areas. It can roll itself instantly into a ball.
Kaorin Sakura: 	If it fell from a great height, this Pokémon could save itself by rolling into a ball and bouncing.
Kaorin Sakura: 	Burrows deep underground in arid locations far from water. It only emerges to hunt for food.
Kaorin Sakura: 	It burrows and lives underground. If threatened, it curls itself up into a ball for protection.
Kaorin Sakura: 	When it curls up in a ball, it can make any attack bounce off harmlessly. Its hide has turned tough and solid as a result of living in the desert.
	Venec: 	"There's a good chance this is it. It's our best guess."
	Danny: 	"CUBONE!"
	Cepheus: 	"So we're all in agreement, then?"

Danny: 	"Quick! I'll save us all from harm!"

	Cepheus: 	"Keep calm, Danny. We should conserve our energy. If we don't have to battle, we should take the opportunity."

* Cepheus calmly walked forward, his pace quickening slightly.
	G.Oak: 	"I'm very impressed by each of you."
	G.Oak: 	"I can honestly say, I couldn't have chosen a better team."
	G.Oak: 	"Despite any faults each of you may possess, you cover each others weaknesses brilliantly."
	Danny: 	Danny looked starry eyed and proud...

* Cepheus 's arms were crossed, waiting for what inevitable question would come next. He felt like some trick was coming next...

	Grace: 	"Pichu's cells don't generate electricity, Ceph-chan. It's sacks do. I don't know anything about Elekid though."
	Cepheus: 	"...Ah, right, silly me."
	Cepheus: 	"Even so, there was the dex entry about static electricity."

	G.Oak: 	"Go out and seek your dreams. Challenge the world and return home when you're ready, with far more knowledge and experience than any other."

	Danny: 	"YEAH!"

	Venec: 	As Oak walked over Venec walked to meet him half way.
	Cepheus: 	Then to Oak, "I thank you for this opportunity."
	Venec: 	And raised his fist.

	Danny: 	Danny waved that answer away. "Oh, you do a good job, too," Danny said in a very condescending tone.
* G.Oak turned to Venec with a smile and noticed the raised fist, "Of course Venec!" With that, he met Venec's fist halfway, ending it in a very forceful fist pump, "A fistpump! Of men! Congratulations!"
	Danny: 	Yeah! Fistpump!
	Danny: 	Danny joined in, too!
	Danny: 	"Yeah! MANLY MEN!"

	Venec: 	Venec only glared. Then turned to the nearest door and walked away.
* G.Oak watched as Venec left he turned and fist pumped Danny.
	G.Oak: 	"Cepheus..."
Cepheus: 	"Mm?"
	G.Oak: 	"Whatever I did to upset Venec, apologize to him for me."
	Cepheus: 	"All right. I'm...I'm going to go after him right now, see how he's doing."
	G.Oak: 	"Good luck on your journey and remember, I'm just a phone call away if you need anything."
DNA: 	"Of course." Cepheus then pivoted on his heel and walked out of the hall, going for the door that Venec had just left through, seeing if he could find him.
	Danny: 	Danny suddenly turned serious for a moment. Looking at Professor Oak. "You needn't worry, Sir, the mission is safe with me."
	Venec: 	Nothing short of a jog would catch up to him, Venec walked with a quick stride through whichever door looked like an exit, hot enough with anger that he had almost started to sweat.
	Danny: 	He then turned back into a lovable scamp and followed the other characters out of the GYM.
DNA: 	Cepheus saw Venec running off with a sprint. Whatever speed Cepheus could attain wouldn't have caught up.
	Cepheus: 	"Grace, can you teleport the two of us outside? We might be able to overtake Venec and meet him there."
	Venec: 	(More Rage-Powerwalk. He's not running)
	Grace: 	"Will do!"
* Grace grabs hold of Cepheus and teleports to the outside of the Gym.
	Layla: 	Layla trotted along behind with worry, tail sagged and ears drooped.
Cepheus: 	Cepheus scanned the horizon outside the gym, seeing if Venec showed up. He noticed Lucy was standing there, waiting. "Lucy, did you see Venec come this way yet or no?"
	Lucy: 	"Not yet, no."
Cepheus: 	"...Hmm. Means he's still inside. He's...miffed at the professor and I don't know why."
Danny: 	Danny thought better than to follow, because, well, he was too lazy. He stuck around to grab the badge from Oak.
	Cepheus: 	(...I don't see Venec like this. He...barely said a word.)
Danny: 	"You want to grab something to eat, Professor G?"
Kaorin Sakura: 	I thought Danny left.
	Venec: 	Venec eventually weaved his way outside walking to the steps before the Gym and sitting down.
	Lucy: 	"I saw badges. Means you guys won, right? Why the red mist?"
Danny: 	He got lazy because everybody was running.
Danny: 	His PokeMon is a Slowking.
Danny: 	He is thoughtful of Larry's preferred pace.
Danny: 	Danny is just that amazing of a human-being.
Venec: 	"...A dishonest techincality. I don't care that we had to fight but for that stupid reason..."
	Lucy: 	"..."
	Lucy: 	"Venec, I think there's a problem here."
	Lucy: 	"You're red misting over the rules and whims of a Gym Leader...at their own Gym?"
	Cepheus: 	Cepheus was about to talk to Venec, but then noticed Lucy was doing a fine job about it. He'd...talk to him later.
	Venec: 	"Yes. I don't want a badge from a Gym Leader I can't respect."
	Lucy: 	"That's Gary in there, Venec."
	Lucy: 	"The man who gave you the chance to be a legit Trainer. Who pays you to do what people dream of, the man who awarded you a badge and saw that you deserved it."
	Cepheus: 	However, he could overhear bits of the conversation. He then turned to Danny. "Danny, I need you to do something."
	Lucy: 	"So what if there was a technicality? At least he's following the rules unlike other people who are Gym Leaders just to make money or because they enjoy beating on challengers."
Danny: 	"What?" Danny looked confused.
Danny: 	Cepheus never trusted him with a mission.
	Venec: 	"... It's stupid. I just get angry sometimes. I wish I could have just slugged him and then called it even."

Danny: 	Danny half-suspected this was not really Cepheus, but an android that replaced him!

* Cubone turns to the direction of her name.
	Cepheus: 	Cepheus decided to drop it. At least Danny saying it was better than nothing.

	Cepheus: 	He half-expected that Danny would just blurt it out anyway.

	Lucy: 	"Do it WITH the badge if you want."
	Lucy: 	"But don't let a Gym Leader's rules in their own Gym bother you."
	Lucy: 	"It's THEIR Gym and regardless, you need their badges to face Mewtwo."
	Lucy: 	"They're stepping stones. Be the better man and show them that no matter what, Myles will succeed."

	Cepheus: 	"Well then..." he paused a moment, then turned to Grace. "You did really great in there; I'm proud of you." He took the moment and gave her a quick kiss on the lips.
* Grace was startled by the kiss but giggled and kissed Cepheus back with a slight smile.
	Grace: 	"I'm glad I helped."
	Venec: 	Venec's anger had gradually melted to a normal slump.
	Cepheus: 	"I'm glad you helped too."
Danny: 	Danny looked at Larry. "You did really great in there; I'm proud of you, too."
	Larry: 	"Are we going to kiss now?"
	Layla: 	Layla through her front legs over Venec's shoulder, almost knocking him down the steps. (Cheer up Captain!) She started to lick all over Venec's face.
	Danny: 	"Ew, no."
* Cepheus giggled at Larry's comment.
	Grace: 	"I'd love to see that."
* Cepheus let a laugh escape his mouth at Grace's comment.
	Larry: 	Larry chuckled but remained quiet after the fact.
	Cepheus: 	"...Jupiter would have been very surprised to hear me laugh like that."
	Grace: 	"Let 'em back out."
	Cepheus: 	"All right."
	Venec: 	Venec could help but laugh himself as Layla licked all over his face. It was a weak laugh, but an improvement.
	Jupiter: 	ZZZZZZZZZZT! (I heard him laugh!)
	Larry: 	"We can hear everything from our Poke Balls."
