n++ INTRO% F.A.Q.

Q: What are you trying to do?
A: I am trying to beat the n++ INTRO levels as fast as possible

Q: Why are you limiting yourself to just the INTRO levels and not the full single player
A: I haven’t completed the single player yet (mostly due to lack of trying).  When I do, you can expect to see those runs as well

Q: What is your best time?
A: My best time is 17m 25s

Q: What is the World Record?
A: The World Record time is 17m 25s held by me

Q: What are you playing this on?
A: I am playing this on a Playstation 4, though if it turns out to be faster I may switch to PC

Q: What is this game?
A: This game is an indie platformer that is a successor to a flash game called n that I played a lot of in high school.  The objective for each level is to get the key and reach the door in each level.  Most obstacles will kill you if you touch them

Q: How many levels are in the INTRO?
A: There are 125 levels in the INTRO.  If/when I expand to the full game, there are a bit over 1100 levels

Q: We aren’t you splitting?
A: This game is VERY input intensive, and there isn’t much time to hit splits.  I’ve added the splits for a visual reference when I reach levels for me and you to see how I’m doing.  The level names are in the bottom right corner of the screen while I’m playing.  Eventually, I’d like to find a way to actually split during the game

Q: Where can you save time?
A: Honestly, not in many places.  The biggest places I can save time are just doing levels cleaner and cleaner each time (with none that really stick out as bad) and not dying.  There is also a level late in the run called “a taste of real life” that I can save roughly 15 seconds on by doing a riskier strategy than I used in my PB

Q: What is your goal time?
A: I would love to get under 17m, but I’m not sure that is possible.  If I get a deathless run with no mistakes and it is over 17m, I will be satisfied
