WW CL Plot

Possible plot for a future Whirligig World video:

A huge interstellar starship with a label on the side reading "U.S.C. Manifest Destiny" is heading towards Mesbin, the giant flattened grey planet. Its engines are on full thrust, and Mesbin is clearly moving quite quickly.

The crew of the ship are panicking, alarms are blaring.

The surface is approaching fast, and the ship just barely manages to slow down. Just before it hits the surface, a loud CRASH is heard, and the screen rapidly fades to white.

Fading from white, we see debris strewn across the landscape. The habitat modules of the ship are still clearly intact, but the engines are destroyed.

Fade to black.

Text: Picking up the wreckage of the U.S.C. Manifest Destiny, the colonists dig underground and settle this brave new world. Within the vast network of hundreds of miles of caves, they rebuilt civilization. They had to start from scratch. But eventually they were sufficiently industrialized to the point where they could build the Mesbin Space Probe Center.

Fade from black: the Mesbin Space Probe Center (MSPC/KSC), with a low tech rocket with girder landing gear on the launch pad. A kerbal countdown is heard. The rocket launches off screen.

Cutting to Three flashes of light are seen with muffled explosion sounds (like the Delorean from Back to the Future materializing) and the ship from Bill and Jeb's Most Excellent Adventure appears flying out of the ground. Jebediah notices this and turns the ship backwards, slowing it down to land.

Jeb and Julia exit the ship and look around. The low tech rocket flies towards the two before landing and tipping over.

The pilot, Fred, gets out of his capsule to see the other two. He wears a blue space suit and a helmet that is all white (no stripes). Fred starts running away, towards the direction of the MSPC. Jeb and Julia catch up in the ship, and then the three all ride to the MSPC (with a new chair added to the top of the ship)

Jeb shows some engineers the design for a nuclear thermal rocket outside the Research and Development facility.

A larger rocket with a Nerv upper stage launches Jeb and Julia's ship into orbit where they then fly out to the distant planets Mandrake and Rutherford via a flyby with Valyr (and possibly its moon Oshan) and Reander. In the Mandrake and Rutherford system, they launch probes into each of the Poleholes of the little moons.

Beagrid: Leads to orbit around SLIPPIST-1e (Echo), a tidally locked planet orbiting a red dwarf.
Jancy: Leads to the Galileo Planet Pack's Super-Earth: Tellumo.
Tatian: Leads to the cloudtops of the Stock System's Jool, where a floating Space Center has been established, but is completely destroyed.

Jeb and Julia look to each other and then fade to black
