Romanticism is used to define a time period of literature following the end of the 18th century, when French and German literary taste turned from the then-classical literature to new conventions. Romanticism was born in light of new concerns within men—including concerns about conceptual topics, including cause, identity, time and space. The style of this writing has an abstract meaning itself; it centers mostly on the uniqueness of individuals.
