  11. **Warlock's Sash:** Warlock's Sash works pretty well on Scylla for multiple reasons. Scylla get's alot use out of the tankiness and due to her insane clear during the mid to lategame she can easily stack up even when rotating. Book of Toth is a viable option too.

  16. Keep in mind that everyone has their own preferences and that the "best" way to skill is the one that best suits your playstyle. There are, however, some basic guidelines that are worth following, which are what I'll try to list below.

  23. Don't skill until the very second that you're going to use it. Keep your skillpoint ready incase the enemy tries to invade / your team needs you. Be ready to put a point in your escape ability if you need to get out quick: it's better to
  24. lose out on a little bit of earlygame power instead of giving away first blood.
  25. ##Quick Learner
  26. Each of Scylla's abilities gain an additional effect at max rank. In addition, Scylla gains 20 magical power for each max rank ability.
  27. ##Sic 'Em
  28. Scylla sends two hounds forward, damaging, rooting, and crippling the first enemy hit. At max rank, two additional enemies nearby the first target will also be hit.
  29. ##Crush
  30. Scylla creates a magical field that slows enemies. After 5s it detonates and causes damage. Scylla may activate the ability again to detonate it early. At max rank, enemies in the area also have their Magic Protection reduced, and targets hit by the damage are slowed for an additional 1s.
  31. ##Sentinel
  32. Passive: Scylla gains MP5. Active: Scylla summons a sentinel to the target area, granting vision of enemies for 5s. Scylla may activate the ability again within 5s to move to the sentinel location. At max rank, the vision is granted through line of sight blockers, and placement range increases.
  33. ##I'm a monster
  34. Scylla reveals her true nature, becoming CC immune for the next 6s, and gaining movement speed. She may make one powerful attack during this time. If she kills an enemy god with the attack, she gains another 6s and may attack again. At max rank, the movement speed bonus doubles.

  38. Scylla is disasterously strong if used correctly and can easily turn a fight around all by herself. Most of her skills are of the "hit or miss" type though, so accuracy and forethough are key. Scylla has a relatively weak earlygame compared to other midlane mages. Her only AOE damage ability (before maxing your 1) is your 2.
  39. If you're up against someone who can heal their minions (e.g. Ra) it's possible for them to completely negate your clear for the first few levels, before you're able to efficently clear. If you're getting outpushed simply fall back and aim for the lategame, which is where Scylla really comes online. Positioning is also very important on her,
  40. as you can be stunned out of your 3 if you don't execute it quick enough.

  42. ###Quick Learner
  43. An insane passive. This is part of the reason why Scylla is such a force in the lategame. The additional damage helps a lot and as such it's advisable to prioritize maxing a skill over putting skills into a different one, even if that means holding onto a skill point for a while. An example of this would be when you hit level 8. Your crush is at lvl 4 and you can no longer level it. It's worth saving that point until you hit levle 9, when you can put
  44. a point into Crush to max it aswel as into your ult. This gives your skills a lot more power and is usually a better idea than to put a second point into Sic 'Em.

  46. ###Sick 'Em
  47. One of the hardest abilities to land as it has quite a long range and is the slowest moving ability. When maxed the additional effect makes hitting it a little easier, as you get the AOE effect. If the enemy is in lane and you have it maxed, you can aim it at a minion close to him as it will also cripple him and minions tend to be a bit easier to hit than enemy Gods. Don't underestimate the damage this ability does.

  49. ###Crush
  50. The damage this ability provides in the lategame is feared throught Smite, but that's not all it provides. Even at rank 1 this ability slows your enemies. At max rank you also get the protection debuff, which means that you should consider leaving it up rather than detonating it right away if you expect your team to follow up with attacks.
  51. A very potent combo that many people don't seem to know about goes as follows:

  53. ####2(don't detonate it yet) -> 1 -> 4 -> 2
  54. Use your 2 to slow the enemy and lower his magical protections. Hit them with your 1 (which is easier to hit when they're slowed) and leave your 2 open while you go into your ult. This let's your ult hit for more due to the protections debuff. If they're still alive after taking your 4, detonate your 2 to finish them off.

  56. ###Sentinel
  57. This is your main escape and you should use it very carefully. Try to always have it off cooldown in case of a ganke and only use it offensively when you have enough vision to know that you wont need it to escape any time soon. Keep in mind that it can also grant you vision - at max rank even through walls - which can be effective to spy out enemies.

  59. ###I'm a monster
  60. The pentakill ability. The damage is insane and with the chance at having multiple uses out of it (if you get the kill) it allows you to quickly take out whole teams. There's a few aspects to it that I will go through one by one.

  62. ####The CC immunity and movement speed
  63. Your ult not only gives you insane damage but also gives you CC immunity aswel as increased movementspeed. This can be used both offensively aswel as defensively. If you're getting ganked and your 3 is down or you don't have enough time to escape with your 3, use your 4 to get out (e.g. You see a Thor about to ult you. Use your own ult so that you wont get stunned and retreat back to your tower. Don't attack with your ult until you're out of danger or if you're certain you can secure a kill).
  64. If you're chasing someone down you can use the Ult to keep up with them and stopp them from CCing you. The range can also help you kill them if they jump over a wall.

  66. ####Multiple Uses
  67. Patience is the name of the game. You have 6 seconds to attack, so take your time. Try to find a target that's already low or that's squishy enough for you to kill. Remember that it takes a second to execute your skill, so aim ahead.
  68. If you're having problems hitting it, focus CC'd enemies or enemies who have no leaps or have thier leap on CD. If you chase after someone, wait for them to use their leap before you attempt to kil them.
