  2. // Soul Phantasm Classification System
  3. //---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  4.
  5. // Categories ------------------------------------
  6.
  7. Keter - "Crown"
  8. Domains: Reality, Thaumatology
  9. Description: Soul Phantasms that operate on thaumatological principles, and therefore interact directly with the Fabric.
  10.
  11. Hokhmah - "Wisdom"
  12. Domains: Psionics, Kinetics
  13. Description: Soul Phantasms that focus on the exertion and application of force. The general purview of Psionics falls within this category, as it is the application of psychic energy as means of physically interacting with the world. Similarly, superpowers that are centered purely on the application of force and motion are also considered as Hokhmah-class Soul Phantasms.
  14.
  15. Binah - "Understanding"
  16. Domains: Extrasensory, Divination, Clairvoyancy
  17. Description: Soul Phantasms with a focus on the retrieval of information through various means, often surpassing the limitations of the standard senses. Extrasensorial and divinatory superpowers all fall within this category, as well as Soul Phantasms that directly or indirectly allow the user to expand the scope of their senses. A notable example of this is Euthoran Dracoimpery, which is known to possess Binah-class qualities.
  18.
  19. Chesed - "Kindness"
  20. Domains: Empathics, Emotions, Mind
  21. Description: Soul Phantasms that interact with the Mind Component, mainly by using emotions and feelings as a mechanism.
  22.
  23. Gevurah - "Severity" (Strength, Judgment)
  24. Domains: Potency, Destruction
  25. Description: Soul Phantasms with a predominant thematic of damage, overwhelming force and destruction. A Soul Phantasm is qualifiable as a Gevurah-class if its only practical application is focused on destructive potential, or if its manifestation is heavily biased towards that. Notable examples include Espira's Laceroimpery and Aurora's All-Shredding Eyes.
  26.
  27. Tiphereth - "Beauty" (Symmetry, Balance)
  28. Domains: Elemental Spectrum
  29. Description: Soul Phantasms that interact with the Elemental Spectrum: Fire, Earth, Lightning, Nature, Wind, Ice, Water, Light, Darkness, and much less commonly, Aether. Tiphereth-class Soul Phantasms are ubiquitous across the Manaverse.
  30.
  31. Netzach - "Eternity"
  32. Domains: Time, Space, Fate
  33. Description: Soul Phantasms that pertain to the concepts of time, space and fate. With the exception of fate, these are concepts that are normally associated with the Aether Element; however, users of these Soul Phantasms are very frequently detached from following Elemental principles, and are thus considered an independent category.
  34.
  35. Hod - "Splendor" (Majesty, Glory)
  36. Domains: Objects, Material Concepts
  37. Description: Soul Phantasms that interact with a (specific or non-specific) type or category of thing, or object, exclusive from the domain of the Elemental Spectrum. Hematoimpery is a rather common example of a Hod-class Soul Phantasm. Counterpart of Yesod.
  38.
  39. Yesod - "Foundation"
  40. Domains: Ideas, Abstract Concepts
  41. Description: Soul Phantasms that interact with an abstract idea or concept as their Range (domain of power). Often this refers to abilities that affect abstract and immaterial (though not necessarily imaginary) concepts, such as Shadow's power to interact with limits and boundaries, or Vector's power to manipulate mathematical vectors. Counterpart of Hod.
  42.
  43. Malkuth - "Kingship"
  44. Domains: Control, Manipulation
  45. Description: Soul Phantasms that focus on the manipulation or control, direct or indirect, of entities. Less broadly, it refers to Soul Phantasms that interact suppressively with the Mind Component, forcing affected organisms to obey commands or become "minions" to the user of the Soul Phantasm. This definition can also apply to Soul Phantasms which animate objects, to a certain extent.
