  1. On this floor, everyone gets to enjoy the cramped novelty of rooming in a capsule! The capsules are stacked on top of each other, with a few steps set into the wall to help guests climb into the upper capsules. Each capsule has a bed inside, as well as a TV mounted into the ceiling. There is a control panel in the side walls for controlling the lights (they can dim to your specifications), turning on the tv and changing the channels/volume, radio (that doesn’t seem to work), an alarm clock, and at long last, there is air conditioning. At the door of the capsule is a screen that can be pulled down for privacy. And that’s it - it’s very minimalist. Still, for a capsule hotel, it is a little roomier than average, so there are only six in each row.

  4. Across from the capsules are assigned lockers that open with your card key. Within is a robe that you can change into, and you can lock up the clothes you came in with. There’s a shelf for your shoes that likewise can be exchanged for slippers. As there is no bathroom in the capsule, public restrooms are down the hall. They don’t have showers, so the public bath may be seeing some more use during this week’s stay. Still, there are some very basic hygienic products free for use laid out and in cabinets.

  7. Supply room:
  8. A room stocked with the supplies for the rest of the hotel. In the back corner, there’s a massive stack of packaged toilet paper rolls. A wide variety of cleaning agents are stored in here, along with mops and brooms, and the janitorial carts. They also have a lot of spares for the complimentary items such as soap, shampoo, or towels. Predictably, the custodians can be found stopping in here from time to time.

  11. Laser tag arena:
  12. Large white fluorescent lights hang from the ceiling in the small waiting area painted deep purple. There are a few benches, as well as a vending machine with sodas and juices and drinks high in electrolytes. Sleek metal trash cans sit in front of the restrooms. A monitor is mounted on the wall, displaying the rankings of the most recent game.

  14.
  15. Two sets of double doors lead to an equally small room with a raised set of layered benches. When more than a few people enter at once, the wall-mounted monitor will begin to play a video. There is also a manual button on the side of the monitor to play the video again.

  17.
  18. A single door leads into the room where about fifty vests and associated rifles hang from the racks. Three separate doors (one for each team: red, blue, green) lead into the actual laser tag arena.

  20.
  21. The arena is an elaborate maze, of deep purple walls and ramps, where each of the three teams has a “secret base” that can be attacked by the other team for points. For the most part, the only lighting in this maze are black lights. The other most notable feature is that hidden in the middle of a maze is a flight of stairs leading to a projection room. Here you can skip around the EDM soundtrack and announce to the players that it’s time for sudden death.
