  1. >Jaune stands guard during the start of tonight’s watch.
  2. >The rest of the recently formed ‘team RJNR” have been fast asleep for a few hours now.
  3. >Jaune sits contemplatively in front of the campfire, eyes focused on the flickering flames.
  4. >Transfixed on the pyre, the sounds around him begin to mute, even the crackling wood
  5. >The colors begin to shift, soon resembling a familiar crimson
  6. >Between the waves a figure danced, elegantly shifting from one position to the next
  7. >This was the person who believed in him more than any other
  8. >His eyes remained unblinking, unwavering, nearly drying out.
  9. >She laughed. She danced. She cried.
  10. >She unlocked his aura, something he didn’t even know he had
  11. >She gave him the courage no one else did.
  12. >She had left him.
  13. >No.
  14. >She had saved him.
  15. >His vision shook, taking him a few moments to realize Nora had been whispering his name loudly
  16. >”Jaune! JAUNE!”
  17. >He shook his head and nodded, blinking to regain his sight.
  18. >She muttered something about switching roles.
  19. >He understood the gist, and left.
  20. >He gazed up at the stars as he rested on his back
  21. >The shattered moon shone its faint illumination of the heavens.
  22. >Hypnotic twinkles rocked his mind until his vision blurred.
  23. >Blinking to clear his vision, he stood and left the campsite.
  24. >He trudged until he was far from the camp, and discovered a wide open field.
  25. >Serenity coated it enough to float on.
  26. >He looked to a nearby maple, and made his way.
  27. >He leaned against it, closed his eyes, and let his mind drift.
  28. >The world began to fade from his perception.
  29. >Suddenly, an embrace.
  30. >His eyes shot open.
  31. >”Hello again!”
  32. >Emerald eyes smiled back at him.
  33. >Proper joy could not be expressed, as he attempted to proclaim.
  34. >But Pyrrha preemptively silenced him.
  35. >Their minds as one, they slid down the tree trunk, locked to each other.
  36. >No words exchanged, they leaned together.
  37. >Necks crossed and snuggled.
  38. >Hands clasped in an unbreakable bond.
  39. >Yet they were joined in tenderness.
  40. >Jaune let himself fall into tranquility, to allow himself to enjoy this moment.
  41. >Though the calm did not last very long, as Jaune felt a tap on the shoulder.
  42. >He looked to his companion, and lips forced themselves upon his.
  43. >An even tighter hug clung them together.
  44. >The embrace only broke periodically to assist each other in disrobing.
  45. >Soon armor and undergarments lay in a disheveled heap behind them.
  46. >Breaking from their kissing to breathe, Jaune awkwardly glanced at his stiff member.
  47. >Was it okay?
  48. >He hesitated in coming down, nervousness clouding his confidence.
  49. >Their eyes met, his filled with uncertainty.
  50. >Hers however, told him one thing, complimented by a nod.
  51. >She reached up and pulled him towards her, consummating their desires.
  52. >His thrusts were slow, and arhythmic, though with each push, more strength backed the next one.
  53. >He felt their souls merge by the moment.
  54. >The closer they came, the faster he drove himself.
  55. >Pyrrha’s limbs tingled with pleasure.
  56. >Soon they synchronously began reaching their fever pitch.
  57. >Sweat slid between the two as they rubbed.
  58. >Upon reaching the peak, the two brought their lips together.
  59. >Eyes closed, breathing slow, the two remained in each others’ arms, minds and souls as one.
  60. >They rocked in unison, swinging to the wind.
  61. >Eternity seemed to pass them by in instants, secluded by the world around them.
  62. >Truly a moment worth sharing for a lifetime.
  63. >And then, another tap on his shoulder.
  64. >Jaune opened his eyes.
  65. >A metal door rested against his face.
  66. >”I’m sorry.”
  67. >Jaune awoke, staring at the crumbling moon above.
  68. >His eyes quivered and drops dribbled to the snow below.
