2016 DRAWTHREAD COLLAB
Holy shit, it's that time of the year. Let's do something together.
The plan is this: we got a template of a cute christmas sock (pic related). We make it vidya related, draw one of your favourite videogames characters inside the sock and decorate the sock itself.
Then, when we will be near Christmas Eve, I'll make a collab pic with all your deliveries.
Here are the rules:
>Use the template, a 700x1500 PNG
>Use a videogame character, I don't care if your anime/cartoon has a videogame, only characters from videogames allowed.
>Use the style you want, the sky is the limit.
>Keep this as SFW as possible. So no sex, no naked people, no penis, no nipples, you got the idea. Slightly lewd stuff like skimpy outfits, lingerie or butts are ok.
>One important thing: since I'm going to make a collab picture, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, keep your delivery with transparency. Extensions that allow tranparency on 4chan are PNG and GIF. Don't give me a JPG, it will be immediately trashed. Don't give me a picture with white/colored background, it will be trashed.
>Following the previous rule, by consequence, you can color the sock in whatever way you want and also the character inside it. Just keep the background clean and transparent.
>DEADLINE: DECEMBER 23rd MIDNIGHT PST. I'll use the next day and the day after to make a decent collab. My plan is to deliver the whole thing on December 25th, like a christmas gift.
>In the end, I got to have a PNG/GIF file with transparency, not bigger than 700x1500 pixels. If it's not like this, trashed.

FAQ:
>Holy shit, your template sucks dicks, can I make one on my own?
Of course you can. Just keep in mind your drawing will still have to follow the rules.
So you can draw your own sock but the files must still be PNG/gif with transparent background, the sock size must be the same as in the template. No fucking exceptions.
I highly suggest you to make your sock take 2/3 of your picture's space.
>Must I deliver only one sock?
No. But to keep the collab as clean and fair as possible, I'll limit the number of entries for each artist to 2 socks. 3 socks are allowed but you must have a very good reason.
>Am I forced to keep the file size to 700x1500?
Yes and no. The important thing is that the size of the sock itself is about the same as the one in the template.
If one of your character is particulary big and the size of the image becomes, say, 700x1590, it's ok.
As long as the sock size is the same as in the original template.
If you deliver a 200x700 or 3000x3000 picture though, it's trashed.
>My favourite character must be inside the sock?
Not necessary. He can jump out the sock, hanging outside the sock, whatever. Just keep in mind the file size.
>My favourite character has already been chosen by someone else, what do?
Choose another one. Nah, just kidding, do it anyway, don't worry. I'm not a smash rosterfag, clones are ok my book.
>My drawing must be colored? And most importantly it must be colored digitally?
No. You can give me a black and white or grayscale drawing. You can even use pencils. The important thing is, follow the rules. No background transparency, no party.
>Only one character can be inside the sock?
Look, as long as characters fit inside the template and you follow the former rules, go nuts. You can even put all the KoF 2022 UM roster if you can.
My personal suggestion for your own sake is, 2 characters max. 3 is already pushing it.

The socks in the collab will be placed completely at random. I do this because I don't want to hear silly complains like "Why is my sock under that sock?" or "Why isn't that beautiful sock on top?". It's all random. BUT if you, drawfriend, made 2 socks and you want your socks to be close to eachother, it's possible. Just DON'T FORGET TO TELL ME BEFORE THE DEADLINE.
