Self-awareness vs success.

A common pattern for success for work and women: (I don't know about things from a girls point of view - just a man's)

1) You need to know what / who you want.
2) You need to work out a plan to get it.
3) You need balls to execute that plan / fail until you've got it right.
4) You need to not fuck yourself up when you've pulled off the plan.

I experience a catch 22 between steps 2 and 4.

The more aware you are of yourself, the more you will question yourself. The more you question yourself, the faster you'll learn. The faster you learn, the quicker you'll get what you were after.

The more aware you are of yourself, the more doubts will creep in about your self worth. The more doubts you have about your self worth, the more distrusting you will be that you deserve the good thing you've worked hard to get. The more you lack the belief that you deserve this thing of value you've gotten hold of, the more likely you are to fuck up a good thing.

To be self aware and not fuck up a good thing requires a tremendous amount of luck (not having deep levels of self doubt inside of you) or a tremendous amount of concentration (to remind yourself that you actually are a good thing).
