Tropical Terror! Rules V3

TROPICAL TERROR!

INTRODUCTION
Welcome to Chillin's new event, Tropical Terror, hosted by FerrousLupus and myself (SciStatics)! Tropical Terror is essentially the Island Challenge of Alola, formatted for Pokemon Showdown. We hope you all are excited!

SIGN-UPS
In order to participate, contact SciStatics or FerrousLupus to get signed in to Tropical Terror. DO NOT CONTACT ANY OTHER STAFF MEMBER. Sci and Ferrous handle all information pertaining to Tropical Terror, so don't bombard other staff since they probably don't know every single bit of information in regards to the event. We will  want to get as many people in as possible, so sign up while you can!

POKEMON SELECTION
Each user will pick a starter Pokemon from Generations 1-6 to start. This will be after you are confirmed to participate in Tropical Terror. This will be the only starter Pokemon you will get, so choose wisely! Players will then need to create permanent teams of Pokemon that will follow set restrictions and level caps. These teams must be checked off by Sci or Ferrous after you register, and then you will be cleared to enter Division 1. Evolutions will occur as you go through divisions. For example, you cannot have a Greninja until you clear Division 1, you will have to use Frogadier. Both users and Kahunas will use teams of 6 Pokemon. Users are not allowed to use legendary Pokemon. As users complete divisions, they will have access to certain benefits. These benefits are listed below:

Stone/Trade/Special Evolutions - Clear Division 1
TM Moves - Clear Division 2
Mega Evolutions - Clear Division 3
Egg/Tutor Moves - Clear Division 4

FORMAT
Tropical Terror is going to be divided into 6 divisions, scaled from the easiest to conquer to the hardest to conquer. Within each division are 4 trials. The trials are going to consist of (in this order) a bot game, a battle with a Totem Pokemon, a tournament, and a battle against an "Island Kahuna". In order to advance to the next part, users need to clear the 4 trials in the part they are currently on.

Bot Game
The first trial of every division is a simple bot game. The bot game will change every division. Bot games include blackjack, trivia, 3 hangmans, anagrams, etc. Users will need to complete the bot game to advance to the second trial of the division.

Totem Pokemon
The second trial of every division is a battle against a Totem Pokemon, which will be a Pokemon you will be battling that have a set amount of levels. Each Totem Battle will be a Triple Battle, so be ready! Users must defeat the Totem Pokemon to advance.

Tournament
The third trial of every division is a tournament. The users that have completed Trials 1 and 2 in their division will go head to head in a tournament with the teams they built for the Totem Pokemon. The winner of the tournament advances to Trial 4. If users lose in the tournament, they have to wait and participate in another division tournament to advance to Trial 4.

Kahuna Battle
The fourth trial of every division is a battle against the Island Kahuna, which is the "gym leader" of each division. Players will use their created teams to take on the Island Kahuna. The Kahuna Level Caps will be 30 (D1), 40 (D2), 50 (D3), 60 (D4), 70 (D5), and 80 (D6). User teams must also abide to these level caps. For example, you cannot have a Pokemon that is Level 31 against the Division 1 Kahuna. All Kahunas will have access to Mega Evolution and 1 Legendary Pokemon. The legendaries you will not be seeing from the Kahunas are Mewtwo, Ho-Oh, Lugia, Kyogre, Groudon, Rayquaza, Deoxys, Dialga, Palkia, Giratina, Arceus, Reshiram, Zekrom, Kyurem, Xerneas, Yveltal, and Zygarde. After you beat the Kahuna, you advance to the next division.

After defeating all 6 divisions, you will have completed Tropical Terror and earned the title of Tropical Tycoon. Congratulations!
