Bio: Canna was the third son of a Troian military leader. Unlike his brothers, he was never able to muster the strength to pick up a blade. He would spend days reading any books he got his hands on, but he especially like the mystifying and occult: Alma Sutra, Hidden Rhythm, Songs of the Ages, that sort of thing. His passion for dance was expressed for years in an old, abandoned library where no one would see him... or so he thought.

When Canna was fourteen, another boy around his age, lost and confused, wondered into that library only to see light pouring down on a figure in pink decor, twirling and singing with the rising sun. Canna immediately fell face-first into the ground when the boy approached. He just KNEW he'd been discovered. This was it; his days of spinning around fancy-free with the lyrics of ages gone by were over.

Oddly, that didn't happen. The boy just looked up to him and said, "Miss, are you a fairy?"

From that day on, Canna decided he would become a fairy.

But how does one become a fairy? Canna would need to learn songs and dances so enthralling that they not only inspire but outright REJUVINATE those who hear them. He would need to learn magic to cast cantrips, throw sparks around, and sprout fairy wings. These all seemed nearly impossible, but he did not give up.

When he was sixteen years old, he left the Divola family without their knowledge and possibly brought great shame unto them. After a few days on his own, he found a traveling troupe. The troupe actually turned out to be a bunch of highway robbers and prostitutes, and after a while, Canna decided he was too pure and fairylike to be a robber OR a prostitute. He did manage to learn some... "fancy tricks" before he snuck away from them.

Sadly, not one of those tricks helped Canna be a fairy. At this point, he was in the wild lands near a political border, so even in the daytime, he didn't feel he could dance and sing without attracting attention. Canna found a small shack to hide in, hopefully safe from bandits and other bad people. Magically, the walls of the shack were covered in writings about FAIRIES! It was a gold mine of information!

He wondered who owned the shack, but not for long. A diminuitive, overweight man in a green suit flopped into the shack one night. He said his name was Tinkle. Canna excitedly asked him if he was a real fairy. Throwing an empty glass of alcohol onto the wooden floor, the man said: "Oh, yes, I am! Koo-loooooo... Lim-PAH!"

Canna immediately became Tinkle's Fairy Apprentice. The old man really taught him how to groove over the next year or so. On his eighteenth birthday, after a grueling Fairy Initiation Ritual, Tinkle gave Canna a Fairy Name: "Candy." He also gave the new fairy his old Fairy Wings which were actually just a bunch of dried moth wings and some sticks, but Candy appreciated the thought anyway. The old fairy bid him adeu and sent him out into the world to spread peace, love, joy, happiness and other positive-sounding nouns.

Within a matter of days, Candy was beaten up and dragged into captivity by yet another mercenary group. Oh well. At least this time he had his fairy magic.
