Mm I understand the first two paragraphs but bot the third one
The idea is that characters from other franchise, even if "Undertaleified", shouldn't be allowed
But with OCs it is much hard to tell and prove, so we're letting many even crappy OCs pass because of lack of proof
Even when it's blatantly obvious someone made up an Undertale connection on spot we have no proof to prove that and let them in so
If you find that logic faulty then by all means tell me :open_mouth: I want people to be happy in this server

I brought up that we had denied a few people before for being Sans in name, but not the body or mind
Like, I think it was one of the crossovers with portal or something, i can't remember for sure
but it was sans with his personality, just in like one of those core bots

Yeah, I don't like having those to pass ;w; But there's no real good reason to turn them away of there's enough of UT connections
Tbh if it were all just selfish me I wouldn't let any OCs or "Sans OCs" pass TwT But that's just dumb
I want people to have run roleplaying even if I don't outright love their characters ;w;

And this border of what passes what not has always bothered me, because sometimes we have two very similar characters and one passes while the other not
Then we get accused for being biased and stuff? And it also depends on a mod, for example I'm willing to let even not so shiny things go through while AJ isn't very willing to do that
But we always discuss in a mod chat whether someone should pass, especially recently, to prevent something like that (in past a mod didn't let someone through so the person asked another mod and they said yes)

One thing I don't like about Null is how it started as Undertale server but eventually become multifandom and lenient
I mean it's a good thing for the server and probably was a good decision, but I personally don't like RPing other fandoms
And so I wanted to make a purely Undertale server

I think that UT and OT are very AU-friendly so there's plenty to pick from
I always expected to have nothing but vatiations of Frisk, Chara, and Sans, and the remaining 2% of characters will me smthin else
Cause that's how the fandom works - some characters are more popular than other
Does the anonymous asker have any suggestion on how to improve filter system?(edited)
