  1. Name: Vlad
  2.
  3.
  4. Age: 1000+
  5.
  6.
  7. Appearance: Standing at a full 7 feet, Vlad is another one of the more physically imposing Knights. Despite spending the better part of the last 500 years pretending to be an elderly farmer, his actual body has remained as toned and sculpted as it was during his prime. Like most vampires, he was blessed with eternal beauty and his face and skin are perfectly flawless. As far as abnormal body conditions goes, his skin's devoid of most of it's color leaving it grey and making him resemble more of a walking corpse than a vampire. His hair grew to near unatural lengths and stops inches from the ground and is almost an unsettling dark black color. His iris' are crimson red and he has the traditional pointed fangs that comes with being a vampire.
  8.
  9. -Vlad's usual battle atire consists of loose fitting and baggy black trousers with high bright red combat boots. He prefers to walk out onto the battlefield without any kind of torso clothing because it often gets destroyed in the process of his battles. The fingers of both of his hands are adorn in an assortment of rings, and he always has his cursed pendant hanging from his neck resting atop his upper chest.
  10. -Vlad's Knight mask consisted of an outline of a white bat against a crimson red background.
  11.
  12.
  13. Personality: Vlad happens to be one of the more level headed member of the Knights and his loyalty to Phantom stems from the sole fact that Phantom saved him from centuries of imprisonment and gave him his own choice in whether or not he could help him and Brutus see their dreams fufilled. While Vlad certainly doesn't mind the flames of war, he takes no great pride or enjoyment in killing and only goes as far as getting the job done requires. Unlike Brutus, he thinks rather highly of most of the current incarnation of Knights and speaks to them on equal terms despite being tied with Brutus as the strongest of the knights. Despite his warm feelings for some of the other Knights he only holds Brutus and Phantom as his true equals. He does hold himself highly above those not a Knight which include the lower ranks of the Chess Pieces and regards the regular civilians of MAR-Heaven as little more than annoyances. He does hold a great grudge for Caldians though.
  14.

  16. History:
  17. Vlad's childhood and upbringing is shrouded in mystery as he himself can't even recall what kind of life he lived before he stumbled upon his cursed pendant. The earliest memory he does carry is finding the pendant laying in a shallow cave within the jungles of Caldia and upon placing it upon his neck he became the world's first and most formidable vampire.
  18.
  19. Plagued with an unquenshible desire for blood he proceeded to plague the country of Caldia for hundreds of years, becoming a terrofying presence for the wizards as he spent his free time learning to control his new found cravings until he only needed to feed periodically. Unfortunately by that time, he had already created a large number of vampires through failed or unfinished feeding attempts and these creatures would later go on to spread vampirism throughout the world making Vlad one of the worst unnatural disasters in Heaven's history.
  20.
  21. Eventually the Caldians decided to go after the source of vampirism in hopes that if they killed Vlad the offspring of his cursed arm would be cured and to these lengths the first incarnation of the Royal Wizard Guardians were created along with the 10 Royal Weapons. When they finally managed to locate Vlad, the ensuining battle left hundreds of lower yanked wizards dead and six of the R.W.G slain by his hands until they eventually exhausted his mana supply and disallowed him from feeding during the entire battle. It was at this point that they discovered that Vlad was seemingly immortal and that they had no means of keeping his body from regenerating no matter what degree of damage they dealt him in his weakened state.
  22.
  23. Due to this discovery, Vlad was sentenced to forever rot in a prison built just for monsters like him and the next incarnation of the Royal Wizard Guardians were instructed to make sure that he was never to be freed or given any attempts to feed and this trend was kept alive in the ensuining incarnations of Caldia's highest order.
  24.
  25. It was only when Brutus betrayed the order and managed to enter Vlad's cell with a pitcher of blood that the vampire was finally able to utilize his full abilities for the first time in centuries. The two then together brought down the current incarnation of the R.W.G, looted Caldia's cursed and forbidden Arm treasury and escaped with Phantom to help the young boy plot the destruction of Caldia and MAR-Heaven.
  26.
  27. Vlad's reasons behind helping Phantom stem from his gratitude of being freed and Phantom's in depth explanation into how his Vlad's vampire pendant worked. It was with this knowledge that Vlad was able to supply the early Chess Pieces with a growing army of vampires under his control and in return was given a new arsenal of deadly Arm in which he used to fight off the Chess Piece's enemies until the first visitor arrived.
  28.
  29. When it looked as if the Visitor was going to finally destroy all the Knights and end the war, Phantom had Brutus pretend to turn sides and gave Vlad the order to go into hiding with his at the time wife and fake his death. Since the first war, he's been living around MAR-Heaven in hiding and has in recent times actually fathered two sons with his wife.

  32. Arm:
  33. - The Vampire Pendant: The Pendant is one half of a pair of Arm made by one of the first Arms maker in Caldia before recorded times. The arm's original purpose was to help facilitate the growth of a new breed of warriors in the world in which the user could use to conquer any kingdom in it's way although Vlad wasn't aware of that until after Phantom explained it to him. In any case, the Pendant grants it's user a number of abilities while it's main curse is that the user is required to feed from a source of a living, sentient beings blood to retain their strength. Thanks to this price, the user is in return granted eternal beauty, life, power that surpasses all, and the inability to be slain unless fully fed and having the user's heart taken out his chest and impaled.
  34. ---The Pendant allows the user to infect others with vampirism by partially feeding on them. Once done, the user can curse the infected person into becoming the user's ghoul where he can then bend them to his will.
  35. ---When unfed and injured the user's body will regenerate no matter the degree of wounds
  36.
  37.
  38. Crimson Blood Sword: Vlad's primary weapon on the battlefield, and one of the many Arm gifted to him by Phantom after they plundered Caldia's vault. The sword usually takes the form of a jagged red ring and when activated becomes a thin double edged longsword with a jagged red quartz like blade. The sword's power lies in it's ability to draw the blood spilled by those cut with it around it as an extension of the user. This ultimately allow Vlad to user the blood spilled by his enemies as weapons, shields, and mana hardened copies for his own purposes. During the war, Vlad was known to keep the sword summoned for long periods of time and would keep such large quantities of blood around him that towns were known to evacuate at the sight of his "blood cloud" before he rained projectiles and blood clones down onto the streets.
  39.
  40. Flesh Cloak: A ring later aquired during the first war that allows Vlad to cloak himself in the guise of whoever he absorbs into the ring. This cloak completely hides not only his appearance but his mana presence and the presence of any Arm on his body which includes his pendant. His physical abilities remain consistent in his cloaked form but he's unable to activate any other Arm while it's in use.
  41.
  42. Bat Cloak: a ring that allows the user to cloak himself in shadows that then take the form of a large bat. While not the speediest method of travel, physical and mana based attacks on the bat are useless and the only method of piercing the shadows is through a light based Arm or attack. Consequently, there's not much the user can do with the bat in terms of attacks.
  43.
  44. Mana Tether: A ring that allows the user to cast out a sticky rope whose length and width is only limited by the user's current mana supply. If this rope connects with either an enemy or their Arm it will use the enemy's own mana to strengthen it's grasp and will only be let go if the enemy stops using mana. The user on his end can in turn use this rope to pull the enemy closer or swing him/his attacks around the battlefield.
  45.
  46. Shadow Sphere: A ring that causes a sphere of twirling shadows to envelope an area determined by the user. Anyone inside the sphere is cloaked in pure darkness and any attempts via Arm or mana based abilities to perceive things in the sphere are cancelled out. The walls of the sphere are not material however and it's possible to escape by going through the top or sides of the bubble.
  47.
  48. Boundless Room: A ring that allows the user to lengthen or shorten the distance between either himself and the walls/ceiling of an enclosed area or the distance between an enemy and the walls/ceiling of an enclosed area.
  49.
  50. Petrifying Eye: A guardian Arm ring that summons up a massive bloodshot eye that causes anyone whose looking directly at it to be unable to move their limbs.
  51.
  52. Bloodwell: A ring that draws in any blood drawn on the battlefield that can be dispersed later on the user's command.
  53.
  54.
  55. Magical Abilities:
  56. -Vlad's physical abilities only pale in comparison to Phantom's current form. Without the aid of any Arm or Mana he can most likely trump any other Knight in a hand to hand fight and has the most exstensive knowledge on hand to hand combat out of the Chess Pieces.
  57.
  58. -Is a tactical genius on the battlefield and will use his precise and carefully picked assortment of Arm to defeat enemies if brute force happens to not be enough to get the job done.
  59.
  60. -Is an excellent swordsman and prefers to use his blade over hand to hand combat.
  61.
  62. -Can drain mana from those bitten by his fangs instead of blood.
