- Hackernews (ycombinator) has paid deals with larger blogs like Techcrunch to allow them to post as many links as they like in order to generate traffic but censors small blog sites even if their content is better, simply because they don't way ycombinator. A small blog may only get away with 1 post per month or so while larger blogs even if their content is not original are allowed to spam away because they pay.
