  1.
  2. Grace has connected.
  3. Narrator has connected.
  4. DNA: I HAVE ENTERED THE BREACH
  5. DNA: and also mixed my metaphors.
  6. Grace: haHA! I beat you here!
  7. DNA: I know. I'm incredulous.
  8. Grace: Rood.
  9. DNA: Do you know what 'incredulous' means?
  10. Grace: well, I'm kinda feeling lazy, and brainfarty so no not off the top of my head.
  11. Narrator: We're at 50%.
  12. Narrator: I also didn't map the interior like I wanted.
  13. DNA: ...you mapped the interior?
  14. DNA: Now I'm concerned.
  15. Narrator: I didn't map it at all.
  16. Avara has connected.
  17. Narrator: I wanted to.
  18. Narrator: 75%
  19. Narrator: But then today went faster than I anticipated in every way.
  20. Narrator: So I did absolutely nothing.
  21. Avara: hi
  22. DNA: ...Still, the fact that you actually went to map it out at all gives me a few questions...
  23. Narrator: I wanted to.
  24. Actinidia has connected.
  25. Narrator: Hold on.
  26. Narrator: Laughing
  27. DNA: That's an odd diversion

  37. DNA: A cult? I know of the Gothorita and the two bloodthirsty brothers (well, the Spinda was, anyway. The Sableye's just along for the ride.)
  38. DNA: It's probably a reference I don't understand.
  39. Narrator: Should...I answer that not question?
  40. Avara: the way they said "bro" was less familial than friend or other. the way the gothorita act, though? the fervor of the spinda's bloodlust, and the fact that they're so intent on seeking blood, willing to kill each other, etc... it gave me a vibe that mixed gang and cult.
  41. Avara: with sableye being a newbie or wannabe that wants to hang out with the big boys
  42. Avara: that's the impression i got
  43. Narrator: When folks are ready, I'll smack the initiative.
  44. Actinidia: I'm not sure what the not-question was, but I remember where we were and what we were doing. We were thinking fast food places might be a good place to start looking for food. And we found one with people skeletons out back.
  45. Avara: need enforce on location
  46. Grace: I'm good to go!
  47. Narrator: Double click your token in the initiative bar.

  336. Narrator: Gonna end initiative then.
  337. Pierce Mars Oswell: This gives Mars time to skedaddle and catch up with the rest, as fast as his tiny legs will carry him. After watching the Gothorita kill itself, he put his mental gears to work, trying to figure out what the point of the group all was.

  355. Avara: need more dragon.
  356. Narrator whispers: You can smell blood, but the faintest trace of Gothorita hangs in the air. It seems to lead somewhere deep into the building. Maybe there's a rear entrance?
  357. Avara: i'm surprised sableye didn't manage to finish off etna there, incidentally.
  358. Avara: so close.
  359. Narrator: Well, it failed. So yah.
  360. Avara: yah.
  361. Pierce Mars Oswell: "It's still here, probably near the back? I don't smell much else besides blood, though. Maybe there was already a scuffle."
  362. Etna: "Probably where they got some killing done earlier?"
  363. Grace Leonhardt: Grace shivers at the mention of the idea of this being a f*cked up murder house or whatever it is to these nuts.
  364. Pierce Mars Oswell: "Probably, loath though I am to admit that."
  365. * Etna will let others take the lead.
  366. * Pierce Mars Oswell opts to go in front.
  367. Actinidia: ((sorry, I'm back. I had a bit too much fried food this week...)
  368. Narrator: When you enter the Checkers you're greeted with a bleak and dark scene. All the cookware and tools have been flattened and spiked into the walls. Chains adorn the ceiling rattling slightly. About half of the chains have a meat hook at its end, making travel through these chains a deadly task. The ground is slick with dried and fresh blood while many of the meat hooks have occupants. A few of them Pokémon: A Pikachu, a Ralts, a Charmander and a Wartortle. The other eleven occupants are children of various ages and sexes. Al stripped of the attire, fingernails, toenails, eyelids, lips and noses.
  369. Narrator: (( I had to find the exact description in my notebook. Didn't want to go off memory. ))
  370. Narrator: (( Sorry that took so long. ))
  371. Pierce Mars Oswell: "...Grace, close your eyes."
  372. Actinidia: ((worked out for mee))
  373. Actinidia: "... this..." Actinidia took in the sight. She began to pace around (mindful of anything like a beartrap that might be lurking as a fun surprise). Does anything look like it has cuts of meat taken out of it? Or is it all just display?
  374. Grace Leonhardt: Grace was still sitting by the door, and sadly the warning came a touch too late. She definitely backed away from the doorway and dry heaved to the side for a few moments.
  375. Narrator: Give me a perception (Searching) test Actinidia.
  376. * Etna is going to keep her head low, trying not to catch a hook to the face.
  377. Actinidia: Searching 5+3+1+1=10
  378. Pierce Mars Oswell: Perception Sound - Is there anything audible in here at all that isn't the chains? 3+2+1+3=9
  379. Narrator whispers: You don't hear anything else. Try as you muster.
  380. Actinidia: "Thaaat's interesting. None of these bodies have any meat taken from them. And none of the food here has been touched. I have no idea how they've been sustaining themselves. Does anyone else want to have a look around...? Or... am I the only one with the stomach to handle this kind of thing?"
  381. Avara: brb, might dc, will hop back in if i do.
  382. Pierce Mars Oswell: "I...I honestly don't want to stick around, but I might not have a choice."
  383. Grace: Grace tries to get herself under control. She needs to pull herself togeather so she can help her friends and possibly anyone in the building in a bad shape like those victims were. 4+2+1+4=11
  384. Avara: back
  385. Grace: Grace will be somewhat shakey on her feet, but she'll manage to get her stomach from lurching too hard as she tries to follow after the others. Though her worry and a healthy dosage of fear was obvious. She was kinda hoping of punching something so she can get the jumpscare or whatever out of the way.
  386. Grace Leonhardt: wb
  387. Pierce Mars Oswell: "...All right. Where to begin."
  388. Actinidia: "The food is starting to spoil anyway. Some of it is still good, but... I would understand if you wouldn't want to touch it."
  389. Grace Leonhardt: "W-Well for one, t-these folks are off their rocker..."
  390. Pierce Mars Oswell: "Try not to remind me. If I see another one right now I'll be liable to rend it limb from limb without mercy."
  391. Actinidia: "They are. Unless they feed on pain itself there's just no... point to all of this."
  392. Etna: "They're cult-y."
  393. Etna: "Cult-y gang-ish and crazy. We'll want to question the sableye. It was the one least buried in this.... this."
  394. Actinidia: "The one who died said something about us being with 'order' or something. I'm wondering if that's more literal than it sounded. Like they're a blood faction, and there is an order faction that opposes them."
  395. Pierce Mars Oswell: "Let's...take what we came for and double back. You think we should ask the Sableye now, or take it back to be interrogated?"
  396. Grace Leonhardt: "W-Would that... hopefully be someone sane? Or... someone taking the other far side of the spectrum...?"
  397. Actinidia: "The sableye was someone who sounded impressed with all of this, but not indoctrinated."
  398. Etna: "Knowing our luck, probably the second one. And neither."
  399. Etna: "We should find somewhere relatively safe and secluded, but not at our base. Too many kids."
  400. Pierce Mars Oswell: "Right."
  401. Grace Leonhardt: "Y-Yeah, lets get out please..."
  402. Actinidia: Actinidia pauses, and checks to see if any of the hanging bodies are still alive. First Aid.
  403. Actinidia: Cunning (First Aid) 1+1+1+1=4 (STUNT! 1 Stunt Point)
  404. Actinidia: nope
  405. Narrator: I....uh....wow.
  406. Etna: "No.... we need to see if the last one's here first."
  407. Narrator: Yup. You're 10,000% sure they're dead.
  408. DNA: Heh.
  409. Narrator: Prrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrobably instantly.
  410. Narrator: From tetanus.
  411. Etna: "It sucks, but we don't want to let them follow us, or get reinforcements."
  412. Pierce Mars Oswell: "I smelt it near the back. One of you want to come with me?"
  413. Etna: "I'll come with you."
  414. Actinidia: "I would love to."
  415. Grace Leonhardt: Grace will let out a sigh, before nodding her head. "Yeah, we can't leave this well enough alone at this point... I'll come with too."
  416. Pierce Mars Oswell: "...Then let's do this quickly." Mars darts off, in the general direction of where he detected the Gothorita's scent.
  417. Pierce Mars Oswell: (Do I need to make another Smelling check here, or is the prior one enough to go off of?)
  418. Narrator: You still have the general idea of where it was. So no re-roll needed.
  419. Grace Leonhardt: Grace will nearly jump out of her own skin when Mars scares the piss out of her by suddenly darting off, but she'll give chase not wanting to be lagging behind in a place like this.
  420. Narrator: Buuuut, I will need you to specify how quickly you're moving.
  421. Narrator: And for how quickly everyone is following.
  422. * Etna will follow as quickly as she can, keeping her head low.
  423. Actinidia: Actinidia is by Mars side. Up to a maximum of 14
  424. Actinidia: 12, sorry
  425. Pierce Mars Oswell: Brisk walking pace. Not quite running, but not sauntering. ...Unless I can't do that, in which case, outright running.
  426. * Etna can run at 12 squares per round.
  427. Pierce Mars Oswell: ...hell with it, running. I move 14 per round.
  428. Narrator: Not wasting any time? Geez, you guys wanna eat that Gothorita or something.
  429. Actinidia: With an evolution or two behind me...
  430. Avara: KILL THE KILLER. DEATH TO KIRA. RAAAAR. nah we just want to tie up loose ends.
  431. Narrator: Alright then. Give me a Strength (Might) test to get through the meat hooks. Hopefully without impaling yourself through them.
  432. Grace Leonhardt: When it's both actions running, it'd be 14
  433. Pierce Mars Oswell: MIGHT 6+5+6+3=20 (STUNT! 6 Stunt Points)
  434. Pierce Mars Oswell: POW
  435. Actinidia: I request that Mars just breaks them.
  436. Actinidia: with that roll
  437. Pierce Mars Oswell: hahahahaha
  438. Pierce Mars Oswell: It's one off the Satan dice, so maybe
  439. Avara: etna uses mars as a helmet.
  440. Narrator: That'd be nice. But yeah, nah.
  441. Avara: 4+3+5+2=14
  442. Actinidia: Curses! 6+4+2+1=13
  443. Pierce Mars Oswell: Next time, I clearly need to roll 3 boxcars to break the meat hooks.
  444. Grace Leonhardt: 2+2+5+6=15
  445. Narrator: Okie doke!
  446. Narrator: The four of you rush through the dangling meat hook chains of doom, not caring at all for your personal safety as you rush to capture the Gothorita! The hooks slash at you, nearly gouging you and dealing 43 penetrating damage!
  447. However, you push through the hooks, nearly shattering them - preventing them from tearing deep into your flesh and suspending you into the air lik ethe rest of the hanging corpses.
  448. Narrator: Okay yeah, that ain't right.
  449. Narrator: The four of you rush through the dangling meat hook chains of doom, not caring at all for your personal safety as you rush to capture the Gothorita! The hooks slash at you, nearly gouging you and dealing 9 penetrating damage!
  450. However, you push through the hooks, nearly shattering them - preventing them from tearing deep into your flesh and suspending you into the air lik ethe rest of the hanging corpses.
  451. Narrator: That
  452. Narrator: That's better. Yeah.
  453. Actinidia: Actinidia loses 9 health.
  454. DNA: That must be one hell of a high DC
  455. Pierce Mars Oswell: Pierce Mars Oswell loses 9 health.
  456. Actinidia: Or it was a low DC, but dealt damage on a success.
  457. Grace Leonhardt: Grace Leonhardt loses 9 health.
  458. Narrator: The success was not getting caught in it.
  459. Narrator: You succeeded. And aren't dying further.
  460. Grace Leonhardt: Grace is cursing up a storm under her breath, and she seems once again a bit more anxious and nervous as they go. Suffice to say, nightmares are gonna be had tonight. She also hopes she doesn't get tenitus.
  461. DNA: Ah, okay.
  462. Etna: Etna loses 9 health.
  463. Narrator: Reaching the back of the Checkers you find a rear door that leads to the dumpsters. The doors already open and you can hear clanking outside.
  464. Pierce Mars Oswell: "There's still someone there! Ready yourselves."
  465. * Etna readies herself!
  466. * Pierce Mars Oswell continues to run right out the door, towards the source of the clanking.
  467. Actinidia: Ditto
  468. Grace Leonhardt: Grace will leave the place, and seeing that everyone was out, will slam the door closed, and press her back against it, panting and continuing her little rambling cursing rant.
  469. Narrator: Slammed door, charging out, gotcha
  470. Grace Leonhardt: She's on the outside side of the door of course.
  471. Narrator: Reaching the backside of the building you find yourselfs in a gated area with several dumpsters. Climbing atop one of the large green metal trash bins you see the Gothorita taking her time to be careful to climb over the thing still being severely damaged and not having the time to take a breather.
  472. Gothorita 2: Gothorita 2 flinches as she reaches for the top of the gate, hearing the door slam shut behind her. She turns to see you all and, without pausing, continues reaching up and watching you closely.
  473. Actinidia: Actinidia takes the attack? E-strike.
  474. Pierce Mars Oswell: Mars will do the same thing, actually
  475. Actinidia: Special Defense - distance penalties 1+3+2+3=9
  476. Pierce Mars Oswell: Defense for the same 2+6+2+1=11 (STUNT! 2 Stunt Points)
  477. Gothorita 2: Gothorita 2, while defenseless in her climb, was lucky that such a shot struck at the gate beside her and missed her entirely. Though the gate shakes, pausing her ascent giving an opening for another strike. (From someone else)
  478. Gothorita 2: (( Somehow I missed DNA's strike. Don't friggin' ask me how. ))
  479. Gothorita 2: Gothorita 2 is struck by Mars' strike, however!
  480. Actinidia: (trip!)
  481. Avara: NONE ESCAPE THE GOD OF WAR
  482. DNA: Oh wait, that actually hits? Dang!
  483. Pierce Mars Oswell: 5 Rock damage and go prone
  484. Gothorita 2: Gothorita 2 loses 2 health.
  485. * Etna will do a thing if gothorita survives the fall damage.
  486. Gothorita 2: Gothorita 2 is struck by the blast and is knocked prone, suffering 1 penetrating damage as she lands on her neck.
  487. Gothorita 2: Gothorita 2 loses 1 health.
  488. Avara: survive or neck snap?
  489. Gothorita 2: Gothorita 2 grunts as she rolls onto her stomach and looks up at you all, "Hnng....persistent beasts...."
  490. * Etna is gonna use Attract to avoid another self-kill.
  491. Etna: VS 13, with Ice Accuracy 5+6+4+6=21
  492. Etna: Etna loses 3 power.
  493. Etna: Resistance Self-Discipline vs BP 19.
  494. Actinidia: do you get the bonus if it isn't an ice move?
  495. Avara: refrigerate.
  496. Pierce Mars Oswell: Refrigerate converts Normal to ICe
  497. Pierce Mars Oswell: Attract is Normal, so it can be converted freely, thus it gets the bonus.
  498. Gothorita 2: (( I'm pretty! Icy! Pretty! LOOKATME! ))
  499. Actinidia: niiiice
  500. Avara: that's the core of etna's build as an Annoyer. Refrigerate.
  501. Avara: normal becomes ice, ice gets +2 to bp
  502. Gothorita 2: Gothorita 2 blinks as she's hit with a wave of aura and looks around, "...What did you do to me...?"
  503. Etna: "A little aura trick. You can't target females for anything for a while."
  504. Gothorita 2: Gothorita 2 decides to test that. By blasting an e-strike at Grace!
  505. Gothorita 2: 5+1+4+4=14
  506. Gothorita 2: Gothorita 2 gathers aura at her hand and aims at Grace but the power fades the moment she lines up the attack, "Hng?!"
  507. Actinidia: "We were hoping you would surrender like a good little girl. Let us know what we want before I have to asphyxiate you. (using Mistress to replace Strength (Intimidate) with Communication (Seduction).
  508. Actinidia: Seduction 5+2+1+5=13
  509. DNA: Kinky.
  510. Grace Leonhardt: Grace will flinch by the door, at the aura stirke being aimed at her, but she'll open her eyes after a second. Wiping her wetting eyes, she'll sniff as she cracks her own knuckles, ready to be not so shy in returning the favor for putting her through that hell to give chase.
  511. Gothorita 2: 3+1+5+4=13
  512. Gothorita 2: Gothorita 2 huffs before sitting up and shrugging, "Depends on what you ask. But threats don't work on me." Gothorita 2 chuckles, "Or any of us really. Starve me. Hurt me. You won't get anything from me I don't want to say."
  513. Actinidia: Actinidia shrugs, "We were mostly interested in food. But you have such an... interesting collection. I can only wonder why. What is it for?"
  514. Grace Leonhardt: Grace flinches a bit, but she'll continue trying to put on airs, more for herself than anything at this point.
  515. Gothorita 2: Gothorita 2 raises an eyebrow, "What? The blood?"
  516. Actinidia: "The bodies, the blood. And before she died one of your fleeing companions said we were on the side of order, or somesuch. I don't know who you are, who you fight or why. And since we've come and made such a big mess ourselves, I thought we ought to know."
  517. Gothorita 2: "Ah! Then you're truth!" Gothorita 2 chuckles, "Normally you truth seekers avoid combat. Pretty rough for your lot." Gothorita 2 pats her chest, "Respect. Pokemon should battle and battle well."
  518. Etna: "I guess? Mostly we're trying to make a home that's safe for people, but we also like to know the who, how and why of things. Your allies called your group the Seekers of Blood?"
  519. Gothorita 2: "..."
  520. Gothorita 2: Gothorita 2 stands up and dusts herself off before backing up to the dumpster again, "You're no order or truth. Who the hell are you?"
  521. Pierce Mars Oswell: (Wait, Act was right? That WAS literal? Ho boy, this just got awkward,) he thought to himself.
  522. Etna: "We're people."
  523. Grace Leonhardt: Grace mumbles about wanting them to do more of taking a long walk off a short pier. Though hearing her confusion got her attention.
  524. Gothorita 2: "You're Pokémon. Stop the act. What do you seek?"
  525. Actinidia: "We were human before the change. It wasn't long ago, there are plenty of us left."
  526. Etna: "People doesn't preclude Pokemon. We seek a home that's safe for people, human or pokemon. Since we won't find one, we're creating one."
  527. Etna: "Part of that is understanding. The who, the how, the why."
  528. Gothorita 2: "You were You were. You aren't anymore. Stop pretending." Gothorita 2 sighs, "Oh gawd. You're denizens. Cattle." Gothorita 2 turns and starts climbing the dumpster again, "How in the hell did we lose to cattle?"
  529. Etna: "Probably because we aren't sheep waiting to be slaughtered, either. We've hunted down gangs that kill people, and toppled them."
  530. Actinidia: Actinidia attempts to grapple. Tagging.
  531. Actinidia: Accuracy 3+6+2+3=14
  532. Actinidia: Strength (Might) 6+2+1+1=10
  533. Gothorita 2: 1+2+1+1=5
  534. Gothorita 2: Gothorita 2 is grappled and struggles, ineffectively, against Actinidia.
  535. Avara: dominated~
  536. Actinidia: "I didn't say you could leave."
  537. DNA: Kinky.
  538. Gothorita 2: (( DNA's word of the day. ))
  539. DNA: I call them like I see them.
  540. Actinidia: "Now, enough about us. I want to know about you. Your little club here. Who are you? What do you seek? And please tell quickly, you were right. I was a human, and now I am not. And I am aching to know what it feels like to squeeze the life out of someone."
  541. Actinidia: Another intimidate check if allowed. 2+3+4+5=14
  542. Gothorita 2: Gothorita 2 grins as she looks at Actinidia, "Ohhh then please. Drain me dry, little lady."
  543. Gothorita 2: 5+3+1+4=13
  544. Gothorita 2: "Buuut, I don't mind saying that much."
  545. Gothorita 2: "Blood. We seek blood. Blood. Just blood. Seek. Seek. Blood."
  546. Actinidia: does that seem to be all she wants to say on the subject?
  547. Gothorita 2: "We are not Seekers of Order. Nor Seekers of Truth. We are Seekers of Blood. All blood. Any blood." Gothorita 2 sighs, "Though the blood of children of course, are always sweeter."
  548. Actinidia: "Don't be so modest. I'm sure yours is just fine."
  549. Actinidia: Absorb. Special Defense. 1+3+4+9=17
  550. Gothorita 2: "Fuck those things." Gothorita 2 spits, "But you? Cattle. Worthless, spineless, whiny bitches. Cattle. You seek nothing. Just to exist. To live. And to fester. Better dead than alive. Better food for those with will. Better fuel for the fire of this dead place."
  551. Gothorita 2: Gothorita 2 is struck by that, easily.
  552. Actinidia: Actinidia loses 3 power.
  553. Actinidia: 5 Penetrating Grass Damage. Holding Back.
  554. Gothorita 2: Gothorita 2 loses 2 health.
  555. Actinidia: 4
  556. Actinidia: Actinidia is healed and gains 6 health.
  557. Gothorita 2: Gothorita 2 feels her life sapping away and screams angrily just before she passes out.
  558. Gothorita 2: An injury has been acquired: Cracked Skull, lowers Cunning by 2!
  559. Avara: why holding back?
  560. Actinidia: Actinidia dropped her to the ground.
  561. Gothorita 2: Gothorita 2 falls over as she faints, smashing her face into the pavement with a sickening thud.
  562. Actinidia: "She's alive, I believe. I didn't want to put on a complete horror show for you all. I think it's best to execute them, I just didn't... think that was a good time to do it."
  563. Actinidia: "Or something I should decide without you, if I have the choice."
  564. Pierce Mars Oswell: "...which was probably the smart choice."
  565. Pierce Mars Oswell: "We answer violence with other violence and we come off as no better than them, and we pick fights that don't need picking."
  566. Actinidia: "I only wanted to scare her."
  567. Pierce Mars Oswell: "To be honest... I want to rip her head off. But that solves nothing, and it's even worse because it's senseless."
  568. Actinidia: "... it solves a lot. She'll wake up and keep doing what she's doing. Hunting and hanging mutilated children for their blood."
  569. Pierce Mars Oswell: "We have new intel about a new group at least, but...can we just nab any serviceable food and deal with that Sableye? I don't...want to be here anymore."
  570. Grace Leonhardt: "I'd... rather not eat anything from here..."
  571. Actinidia: "I thought the same thing Grace. But we've got a village, and one that might not be so picky. We don't have to touch it."
  572. Etna: "I'll advocate execution in this case."
  573. Etna: "As for food... we should see what's useful, and once we clear that out, put up a warning on the building."
  574. Grace Leonhardt: "I'll... chill by the cart if that's alright... I don't mind carrying things but... I don't wanna stay in there any longer than needed...
  575. Etna: "These 'seekers of blood' seem to have a pretty short-sighted world view going on. Only four kinds of people. Bloodthirsty killers, tyrants, peaceful investigators and people waiting to die. That's going to be a problem..."
  576. Pierce Mars Oswell: "If you want to, go ahead. ...I'll just check for food. I don't want to be anywhere near her right now."
  577. Etna: "You can head out, Grace. No worries. I'll come with you."
  578. Actinidia: "Grace, Mars. The two of you should rest outside. Etna and I can handle searching."
  579. Etna: "Big body isn't any help here."
  580. Actinidia: "Hm. Then I can search."
  581. Etna: "Mars would have an easier tme searching with you, Act."
  582. Actinidia: "Easy in one way at least. I don't want to push anyone's emotional well being."
  583. Grace Leonhardt: Grace will give a greatful nod of her head, as she desides to try and go around the building instead of back through, but she'll pause. "...Why do you think she wanted to come back here?"
  584. Actinidia: Actinidia turned to Grace. "So we would get caught on the hooks."
  585. Grace Leonhardt: She'll shrug. "I suppose that's a good one as any."
  586. Actinidia: "Anyway, those tending to the cart head to it. Those who are searching can search. Then... we can discuss if we want to keep going today. I would not blame anyone who wanted to take a therapy rest."
  587. Pierce Mars Oswell: "I'll be searching with Act. Just to give myself something else to focus on."
  588. Grace Leonhardt: She'll nod her head, and head on out back to the front.
  589. * Etna follows Grace out.
  590. Narrator: Gimme dem searches!
  591. Pierce Mars Oswell: This would fall under Sight. 6+2+6+3=17 (STUNT! 6 Stunt Points)
  592. Pierce Mars Oswell: POW
  593. Actinidia: Nah, it falls under Search.
  594. Actinidia: Perception (Search) 5+1+1+1=8 (STUNT! 5 Stunt Points)
  595. Actinidia: Less good
  596. Pierce Mars Oswell: Searching is its own thing?
  597. Pierce Mars Oswell: Ah, so it is.
  598. Narrator: Your search will take long enough that Etna and Grace can get a 'take a breather' recovery.
  599. Actinidia: Actinidia didn't find as much, because she was taking some time to "check out back" and snap the neck of the Gothorita. Coup de Grace. Before returning to hear search. Doing this outside of everyone else's view if it can be helped.
  600. Pierce Mars Oswell: Object of your Attention, and That Makes Me Wonder (sight)
  601. Pierce Mars Oswell: 5+3+6+3=17
  602. Actinidia: Mars probably notices Act doing this.
  603. Narrator: What focus?
  604. Pierce Mars Oswell: The first one is Searching, and the second one is Sight
  605. Narrator: Seeing, gotcha
  606. Pierce Mars Oswell: Mars probably notices Act dip out for a bit, and might hear her as well. If that is the case, he deliberately turns the other way.
  607. Pierce Mars Oswell: Ah right, it's called Seeing. Whoops.
  608. Narrator: Actinidia and Mars, together, can find plenty of food. All the meats were trapped in the coolers. Even without power they would remain cool enough to preserve the meats for another four days. That's 560 lbs. of meat. All the vegetables have spoiled entirely. Though the soda is still good as well as the condoments.
  609. Actinidia: Based on how soda is mixed at these kind of places, we can probably bring a lot of condensed pop back with us if we cared to.
  610. Narrator: 550 lbs of meat.
  611. 22 canisters of soda weighing 176 lbs.
  612. 35 lbs of condoments.
  613. Actinidia: "We do have a cooler, right? We used one to carry things the first time."
  614. Narrator whispers: You, however, notice that some of the soda left being has an unsuaul amount of aura in them.
  615. Pierce Mars Oswell: "Yeah, I remember the cooler. We have that. ...Some of the soda seems infused with aura, though. Can you see it?"
  616. Actinidia: Actinidia looks, then smells.
  617. Actinidia: Perception (Smelling) 5+5+6+1=17 (STUNT! 5 Stunt Points)
  618. Actinidia: no points spent
  619. Narrator: The soda that Mars notices, however, is the soda that was already hooked up at stations.
  620. Actinidia: "I can sense it, yes. Seems typeless"
  621. Pierce Mars Oswell: "...what does that mean? Is it safe to drink or isn't it?"
  622. Actinidia: "It means it will probably have an effect on us. Like the chocolate, or other candies."
  623. Actinidia: "It might restore vitality, or energy to use our moves."
  624. Pierce Mars Oswell: "...Then it'll be useful. All right. Just wanted to make sure it wasn't poisonous or something."
  625. Actinidia: "Either way, between the wagon and Etna, we should have no issue getting all of this back. My only concern is if we want the soda system. I don't know how all of this works, but it looks like it's mixing the soda on demand."
  626. Narrator: Lemme do this now considering the time.
  627. Narrator: So yep!
  628. Narrator: There'll be an encounter on the way back.
  629. miiiight be combat miiiiight not. Dunno. SURPRISE.
  630. Narrator: So, deciding on who/what/whatever. We can start the next session at the next encounter.
  631. DNA: Oh dear.
  632. DNA: That means we'll be hauling...hm. All of it? Most of it? Just up to our weights? into the wagon/cart.
  633. Grace: A good chunk of it at the minimum. The wagon's been made for a raisin.
  634. Avara: no reason to leave things behind if it's useful things.
  635. Actinidia: As much as we can in the cart. Meat priority.
  636. Avara: etna an also carry a few hundred pounds encumbered (oh no, one square loss) or a hundred and fifty-something unencumbered.
  637. Actinidia: How much does the wagon hold?
  638. DNA: Mars has 175 / 350, so he can haul a lot.
  639. Actinidia: Mars can get all of the soda.
  640. Narrator: Note that being overencumbered DOES drop your defenses to 10.
  641. Actinidia: The cart is important because it can be dropped in combat, very easily.
  642. Avara: alright. but between the two bulkier mons and the wagon we shouldn't need to encumber.
  643. Narrator: I believe its an ETNA sized wagon. So, if you're slapping only meat onto it, it can handle 350 lbs without threat of breaking.
  644. Avara: it's a wagon sized for a riolu/lucario to be able to pull it
  645. Grace: Yeah, then we totally can get a good chunk o' the meat.
  646. Avara: we're saving the treat-etna-like-a-horse wagon project for after evolution
  647. DNA: HYAH
  648. Narrator: That drops it by half then. 175 lbs.
  649. Actinidia: Actinidia has 125 carry wight before encumbered.
  650. Avara: etna can haul 200 total before encumbered. she's carrying 44.6, so 155.4 pounds of meat she can carry.
  651. DNA: I'm carrying... 61.5? something tells me I need to leave the type plate back at the white house somewhere.
  652. Avara: and etna IS a walking cooler.
  653. Actinidia: Actinidia is at 48.1
  654. Avara: 560 pounds of meat. the wagon holds 175, so 385 pounds left to distribute.
  655. Actinidia: I'm going to selfishly suggest that Etna takes the hit and goes over encumbered, since defenses aside it effect her the least.
  656. Grace: no, it can handle 350lbs meat.
  657. Actinidia: Also! Actinidia takes off the Eviolite and walks over to Grace "Here you go. I haven't had much need for this tool, I think it will help you more."
  658. Avara: grace, it was adjusted for proper size
  659. Avara: it's not an etna cart, it's a grace cart
  660. Narrator: Yup! 175 lbs.
  661. Grace: Ah, woops.
  662. Narrator: Sorry. I misremembered.
  663. Narrator: It's why I keep notes.
  664. Narrator: ECI is very note-heavy.
  665. Narrator: Probably the heaviest I've ever done.
  666. Grace Leonhardt: Grace will be a little confused but she'll pick up on the idea of passing it to her at the moment. "Okay... yeah thanks it's probably a good idea. Etna, do you wanna hold it?"
  667. Avara: i'd have to hand off my backpack to someone else to carry the whole 385 pounds of meat.
  668. Avara: mars, mind taking my inventory for a while?
  669. DNA: sure thing.
  670. Etna: "Alright. I'll carry what we can't fit in the wagon."
  671. DNA: I would need a list of Things but I'm pretty sure I can handle it.
  672. * Etna IS ENCUMBERED. -2 to both defenses, movement speed set to 5.
  673. Avara: i'll send you a character sheet copy after session.
  674. DNA: OK.
  675. Actinidia: "Recovering from damage is my strong point, and draining my opponents to heal myself is my main offensive trick. This item defends me too well, it's actually getting in the way." Actinidia laughed. "But you and Mars are jumping out into the front lines most often. And between the two of you, I think you could use the buffer a bit more." Actinidia turned to the others, "Feel free to correct me or pitch in any ideas."
  676. Actinidia: Actinidia takes the Condiments no issue though.
  677. Pierce Mars Oswell: "And if the healer goes down then we're in trouble. That's why you're holding the Eviolite and not me."
  678. Etna: "... Hey. Do me a favor?
  679. Grace Leonhardt: She'll hesitate, before pocketing the fancy rock. "A-Alright. I... appreciate the gesture I really do."
  680. Etna: "Before we leave, can you check the freezers for any weird-feeling chunks of ice?"
  681. Actinidia: Actinidia nodded and went to check. Looking over any of them for aura like the soda might have.
  682. Actinidia: Perception 3+4+1+1=9
  683. * Etna is hoping for Never Melt Ice.
  684. Actinidia: Perception 5+4+3+1=13
  685. Actinidia investigates the stations. Opening the valves and searching within the 'now crystalized' soda.
  686. Actinidia: Actinidia brings out two items, "I'm not sure what these two are."
  687. Actinidia: Cunning (Pokemon Lore) 2+6+2+1=11 (STUNT! 2 Stunt Points)
  688. Actinidia: ((anyone else who observes can make a check.))
  689. Etna: 6+6+5+0=17
  690. Actinidia: "I think this one is luck incense."
  691. Grace Leonhardt: Grace takes a peak curious to see what she's bringing out. 1+3+5+0=9
  692. Etna: "Luck Incense and Life Orb."
  693. Grace Leonhardt: "Oh! I remember the life orb. I put it on my glass cannons in the games. Though uh... I'm probably not going to use it too much considering it's probably gonna be draining or hurt to use..."
  694. Etna: "I dont know how it'd translate from the games. Not everything's the same. But... I think luck incense is for dodging? Life Orb is a hold item that, in the games, made your attacks hit harder but did some damage to you in the process. We should test them at the base."
  695. Actinidia: "The eviolite will invogorate you, so you'll have room to test how it drains from you. I think you can use both at once."
  696. Etna: "If someone wants the Absorb Bulb, I'll take Luck Incense for testing."
  697. Grace Leonhardt: "Oh... that's actually a goind point. You guys do seem to be able to take an extra hit or two. So... I suppose I'll be the one to hold it then."
  698. Narrator: I suppose we can end it now? Drop some xp, save the log and campaign?
  699. Pierce Mars Oswell: Sounds about right.
  700. Actinidia: Soounds gooood
  701. Avara: yup
  702. Actinidia: C'mon leverals!
  703. Actinidia: : D
  704. Grace Leonhardt: yey!
  705. Narrator: 400 XP
  706. Actinidia: Curses!
  707. DNA: That leaves only 150 left.
  708. Actinidia: Almost leverals.
  709. Pierce Mars Oswell: Pierce Mars Oswell gains 400 experience points.
  710. Narrator: Saving log~
  711. Grace Leonhardt: Grace Leonhardt gains 0 experience points.
  712. Grace is disconnected.
  713. Narrator: Saving campaign
  714. Actinidia is disconnected.
  715. Narrator is disconnected.
  716. You have disconnected.
