okay so
        Lord English had a pretty fair criticism of Xenoverse that's lead to me coming up with an idea that is just plain fucking crazy awesome according to Dremarian.
        the complaint is that this:
            'So the Time Patrol's job is to correct changes to proper history. This means there is only one desirable outcome and all others are objectively awful. There is no mechanism for player agency.'
        And y'know, that's pretty true.
        SO AN IDEA I HAVE...
            something like this:
            THE TIME CRASH OCCURED due to Mira and Towa (who in the MMO are called the 'Time Breakers') but what they wanted to happen didn't... instead, their efforts caused the prime continuity and all branch timelines to collapse into a snarled gnot of shattered fragments - we're talking, Dissidia style shattered fragments here. All that remains is Toki Toki City. The Dragonballs were used to summon heroes from the remnants and the Supreme Kai of Time has tasked everyone with something truly ridiculous but absolutely necessary:

            'We have no choice but to construct a new continuity using the pieces of the old with a minimum of alternate timelines. It has to be stable, meaning that enough events must occur in it that would lead to the creation of Toki Toki City and the existences of all of you. Holding this place together and keeping everyone else from vanishing has me already nearly at my limit. I can stitch fragments together but everyone else will have to find ways to bridge them.'

            (I am unsure what to do with Demigra in this idea yet, if anything.)
            the idea is...
            Toki Toki City is within the Temporal Wastes and if a stable continuity is achieved then that continuity will merge properly into the normal Multiverse regions. Until then everything in the city is in danger of a ret gone.
            there really is no ideal outcome besides stability so who the hell knows what would come out of it?
            etc.
            IS THIS IDEA CRAZY OR WHAT?
