  1. Vision
  2.
  3. This deck is Motorized, focussing on fast infantry, supported by powerful, but weakly armored, vehicles.
  4. It should be used in that allows it to play to its strengths: forests, towns, mountains, broken terrain.
  5. Thanks to units like PTZ-89, ZTQ-62G and WZ-550 you can defend against an enemy pushing at you across open terrain however.
  6.
  7. Deck breakdown
  8.
  9. Logistics
  10. Pretty usual here. No FOB for more initial deployment points, mix of helos and trucks for supply. Could go with Jihwi-Ban in BTR-60PB instead of the Command Jeep, if you can live with only 3 command units.
  11.
  12. Infantry
  13. One of the major strengths of a Motorized deck.
  14.
  15. I went with Fagot teams for some long-ish range area denial, and they will occasionally snipe incoming transports or get sideshots on tanks.
  16. Li Jian '90 in Z-9A for excellent elite infantry to take key positions.
  17. QW-1 for a pretty good MANPAD.
  18. Tanke Shashou '85 in WZ-551 for some general fire-support and to help with defending areas.
  19. Yuckjeondae '90 in BTR-80As because the BTR-80A is an excellent Autocannon on a very fast chassis, and an RPG with 19 AP and 875m range is pretty good.
  20. Gongbyong for even more city/forest fighting potential.
  21. Bochongsu for cheap-ish filler infantry.
  22.
  23. Support
  24. For Air defence I went with:
  25. Pon'gae 2 for main Anti-Jet defense (remember: it only needs to get lucky once!), HQ-7 to counter big Blufor helicopters, and PGZ-88 because the two SAM systems have very limitted ammo and it's actually pretty nice for stunning jets and destroying helos.
  26. For Artillery, i'm currently going with the BM-24 for mid-long range stunning power, and a full barrage at short range can be quite devastating, too.
  27. Also using the YW-304 mortars for Smoke and generally annoying my enemies.
  28. Either of those could be switched out for a PHL-63 Napalm MLRS.
  29.
  30. Tanks
  31. Not the strong point of a Motorized deck, obviously.
  32. You still get the ZTZ-59-I for cheap meatshielding however, and the ZTS-63-II, which has a rather good cannon, decent ATGMs, Small size and good speed all rolled into one affordable package.
  33.
  34. Recon
  35. M1992 for it's automatic grenade launcher and Very Good optics, making it great for hunting infantry.
  36. Jeonchaldae in helos for infiltration and long-range reconaissance.
  37. MD 500D for exceptional recon, and finally the ZTQ-62G.
  38. This is not only the unit with the best armour in this deck (at a whopping 8!),but also sports Very Good optics, and an excellent gun for its price. I would totally get two cards of this baby if I could.
  39.
  40. Vehicles
  41. Another strong point of a Motorized deck, and Red Dragons get some very good vehicles indeed. Here we go:
  42. WZ-550 is the best ground-based ATGM in the game, period. You only get three of them however, so be VERY careful with them. They also go somewhat against the knife-fighting theme of the deck, but I found this necessary to, at least partially, balance out its weaknesses.
  43. ATS-103... 10 RPM, 45% accuracy and 2100m range.. at 25 points. Very good firesupport at a great price, and will mess with even heavy tanks in ambushes.
  44. ZSU-57-2 because... AUTOCANNONS FOR THE AUTOCANNON GOD!... erm, I mean, they have good stunning potential against infantry and lighter vehicles, and while AP 3 isn't as good as it sounds because of bad-ish range, their armor of 5 makes them more than a match for most IFVs and allows them to hunt infantry in woods more efficiently.
  45. PTZ-89 for another excellent gun on a weak chassis. While they'll struggle against NATO superheavies, they'll eat mediums for breakfast.
  46. And finally, the BJ212 PML75. This one is quite debatable. It's in there, basically, because of its massive Suppression value. I see it as a cheap fire support unit for attacking infantry in towns or forests, or generally ambushing things.
  47. Alternatives would be the PTZ-59 (feels a bit overpriced now, but can still two-shot Centurions at max range), second card of PTZ-89 or the BJ212 HJ-8 or BRDM-2 Malyutka for more ATGMs (something this deck is lacking in).
  48.
  49. Helicopters
  50. Z-9A HJ-8 for a very fast helicopter with good ATGMs, and the Mi-8 Gunship to provide general fire support,
  51.
  52. Planes
  53. JH-7A for the occasional SEAD mission, but more for additional ASF duty and, thanks to 40% ECM, a decently effective missile bait.
  54. SU-25K as my main bomber. Armor and great turn radius are decently effective at keeping it alive.
  55. SU-27SK as my main ASF. It's somewhat overpriced thanks to its missiles being SA only, but still better than the alternatives imo.
  56. Q-5D for sniping expensive stuffs, and as a ghetto replacement for an ATGM plane (the North Korean Mig-21s are terrible).
  57. And lastly, the F-5 on Napalm duty. Only getting 2 per card of such a crap plane hurts, but since the only other source of Napalm in this deck are Li Jian '90 (and possibly the PHL-63), it's a must.
