  1. >You're laying face first in a pool of mud as the droplets of rain dance along your bruised body.
  2. >"Get out of here, you little bitch!"
  3. >The colt gives you one last kick in the sides before spitting on you.
  4. >You can hear him trot away as you get up.
  5. >Their hits don't really hurt, they leave a small bruise on your muscular body.
  6. >Sitting up, you look up into the dark sky.
  7. >The drops of rain greet you with open arms and entice a smile out of you.
  8. >A splash is heard from behind you, causing you to turn.
  9. >Smiling, you see it's Rainbow Dash.
  10. >"Anon! Are you okay? You're covered in bruises!"
  11. "Just keeping a young colt entertained! Nothing more."
  12. >A worried look is spread over her face as she examines you.
  13. >"Anon, why don't you fight back?"
  14. "Well..."
  15. >You scratch the back of your head.
  16. "From where I come from, there was nothing as cute as you guys, so I really can't bear to any one of you guys."
  17. >You've know Rainbow Dash for a long while now, almost as long as you've been here.
  18. >She's brash, tomboyish, rude, and, for a lack of better words, the cutest out of all the ponies.
  19. >A blush forms on her face.
  20. >She mumbles something under her breath.
  21. >You tilt your head and ask, "Pardon? You say something, Dashie?"
  22. >She shakes her head, sending droplets of water flying in all directions.
  23. >"Nothing to worry about, Anon..."
  24. >You smile and put your arm around her.
  25. "It's alright, Dash. I'm sure the ponies will come around to me soon."
  26. >She looks into your eyes for a few seconds before smiling.
  27. >By the time you both decide to get up, you both have the biggest, goofiest grins plastered onto your face.
  28. "Now, what do you say about getting a few drinks? On me!"
  29. >She hoofs you in the arm, grinning
  30. >"You bet!"
  31. >The both of you tell a few stories as you take the short walk to the local tavern.
  32. >The Drunken Mare was it's name.
  33. >Whenever you enter this place, it makes you feel at home and while pony liquor isn't as strong as what you had back home, it gets the job done, just with a few more drinks required.
  34. >Leading Dash to the bar you order your drinks.
  35. "I'd like a bottle of Stalliongrad Vodka and my friend will have..."
  36. >"Hard cider."
  37. >The bartender nods and brings you your drinks.
  38. >"I'll never understand how you're able to drink that straight."
  39. >You chuckle.
  40. "Years of unemployment, Dash. Years of unemployment."
  41. >You don't even notice the shot glass as you open the bottle and down a few mouthfuls.
  42. >Putting the bottle back on the counter, you wipe your mouth.
  43. "Man! That's some good shit."
  44. >Dash smiles and shakes her head softly.
  45. >She's idly sipping on her drink smiling at you.
  46. >As the night goes on, the two of you consume more and more liqour.
  47. >You have downed two bottles of Vodka, and dash about five mugs of cider.
  48. >Sitting there, you listen to her drunken ramblings, smiling and nodding at her tales.
  49. >You've long since ask the barkeep to not give her anymore drinks and she hasn't noticed it.
  50. >That is, until she reaches for her mug.
  51. >"HEy, barKEEP! I ASked for MORE*hic*"
  52. >The Bartender shakes his head, refusing to give the drunk mare anymore.
  53. >"Aw, whY NOt*hic"
  54. >Before he replies, you answer.
  55. "Because you've had too much, Dashie."
  56. >You pay the bill for the drinks, and pick Dash up.
  57. >"Ey, anon LEMMe gO.*hic* I can fly!"
  58. >Ignoring her, you walk to the door and attempt to open it.
  59. >Instead of you opening the door, the door slams you in the face and sends you flying back a bit.
  60. >Rainbow falls on her head and emits a loud scream of pain.
  61. >Sitting up, you see a gang of minotaurs surrounding Dash.
  62. >M1: "Well, ain't THIS one a doll? You okay, hun?"
  63. >You can't see Dash well, but you can hear her.
  64. >RD: "I'm fine, Anon!"
  65. >You feel insulted. To be compared to such... an ugly creature.
  66. >M1: "Call me whatever you want, Baby. How about I give you a few drinks."
  67. >By this time, you have gotten up.
  68. >The amount of liquor in your system wasn't enough to make you a stumbling mess, but it was enough to make it easy to irritate you.
  69. >In your most commanding voice, you call out the gang.
  70. "Hey, I think that's enough. It's as plain as day that she's had more than enough to drink."
  71. >RD: "No I haven't! I want more!"
  72. >One of looks at you.
  73. >M2: "The mare wants more, and you're going to deny her that? What are you, her somepony?"
  74. "If you wanna put it that way, sure. Just leave her alone and there will be no problems."
  75. >At this point, you can feel the bar staring at you.
  76. >More of the gang start to look at you.
  77. >Until one pushes you back, saying "Move it. The mare here wants more."
  78. >How long has it been since you've been in a good old bar fight?
  79. >Too long.
  80. >The first mistake they made, was not being ponies.
  81. >Second?
  82. >They didn’t make sure you were down.
  83. >As quick as you can, you shoot your right arm out and catch the minotaur by his horn.
  84. >M1: “What th-”
  85. >He didn’t have time to finish his sentence before you ram his head into the closest support beam, breaking it.
  86. “Don’t fucking touch me.”
  87. >Looking behind you, you glare at the other two minotaurs.
  88. >They look pissed.
  89. >M2: “GET HIM.”
  90. >They one of them lowers their heads and charges at you.
  91. >You turn around, and assume a low stance.
  92. >Arms outstretched, you catch the fucker by his horns.
  93. >For his credit, he pushes you back a fair bit, but your arms don’t falter.
  94. >You look at him, no mercy found in your eyes.
  95. >Liquor has that effect on you.
  96. >You quickly push him back as far as you can, duck low and rush in, dealing a massive ducking blow to his right temple.
  97. >You jump back as he recoils from the blow.
  98. >Shaking your hand, you reassess the situation.
  99. >There are three enemies at hand.
  100. >Each around five foot eleven inches, just under your six inch two feet.
  101. >Skulls hard as fucking brick.
  102. >One is out near a support beam to your right, about five feet away, he should be up shortly, though..
  103. >The other two about four feet in front of you.
  104. >Your back is to the door and Dash is to your left.
  105. >The bar is a good ten fifteen feet away.
  106. >Needing to stand in front of Dash, you need to make a plan.
  107. >Looking around, the only thing that you can use to stun them is a potted plant not three feet away.
  108. >You smile. That’ll do.
  109. >M3: “What’re you smiling about, fucker?”
  110. >The minotaur you hit is rubbing the spot the blow landed, “I’ll get you for that, punk!”
  111. >You take a small step back.
  112. >They notice this, and take the opportunity to jeer at you.
  113. >M2: “Hey, look! I think he’s scared! Ha, pansy shouldn’t have started something he couldn’t finish!”
  114. >M3: “Heh. He should have known better than to fight three minotaur! Though...”
  115. >He glances at his fallen comrade.
  116.
  117.
  118. >You tense up and swiftly grab the plant by the pot, throwing it at the skull of the who was turned away.
  119. >The pot collides perfectly with the back of his head, shattering and sending dirt everywhere.
  120. >It opens the opportunity to grab Dash and get in a better spot.
  121. >Running away briefly flashes in your mind, but you dismiss it.
  122. >They fucked up and you’re going to make sure they regret it.
  123. >Running to Dash, you scoop her up under an arm and make a mad dash to the bar.
  124. >Dash wont stop squirming in your arms and nearly falls out.
  125. >Nearly.
  126. >You make it back to the bar and as softly as you can, you toss dash into a booth.
  127. >At the time, you didn’t notice that it was full, but it didn’t matter. You had things to do and skulls to utterly destroy under the cold wrath of your foot.
  128. >You walk to the counter and grab one of the bottles you left there, concealing it.
  129. “I’m going to go a bit wild, so I’ll pay what I can for the repairs.”
  130. >You can see the bar keep nod, as he backs away.
  131. >Glaring at the minotaurs, you let them regain their composure.
  132. >It seems like the one you rammed into the wall is up.
  133. >You stand there, smirk on your face.
  134. “The big bad minotaur’s having a problem with one wittle human? Awww.”
  135. >This sparked something mighty fierce in one of them, as he seemed to turn to you and charge at you, much like his friend did.
  136. >This time, you wait until he’s nearly in your face before sidestepping and tripping him with a swift, yet strong leg kick.
  137. >He falls to the ground with a mighty thud as you combo into a more devastating attack.
  138. >Raising your leg above your head, you achieve a small amount of air.
  139. >Bringing it down, you deal one of the most devastating axe kicks you can.
  140. >A sickening snap is heard in the room, as the minotaur screams in pain, before going limp.
  141. >You missed his head by a small amount and broke his collarbone.
  142.
  143.
  144. >The others take the opportunity to try and rush you.
  145. >Wrong idea.
  146. >You turn as fast as you can, using the momentum to crash the bottle of vodka into one of their skulls.
  147. >A few shards get embedded in his face as the bottle keeps dragging across his face.
  148. >It creates a deep laceration on his left eye and all the way down his nose.
  149. >He bellows out in pain and starts swinging wildly.
  150. >Tossing away the bottle, you quickly pary his right haymaker and wrap your arm around it.
  151. >You deal a quick, but strong blow to his neck, almost surely crushing his windpipe.
  152. >But you don’t stop there.
  153. >You release his arm and grab his horns.
  154. >Bringing his head down on your knee, you hear a CRUNCH as you break his muzzle.
  155. >He falls over limp on the floor.
  156. >Standing tall, you brush your clothes off.
  157. >Blood all over you suits legs and mud everywhere else.
  158. >The dried mud comes off with ease, but the blood... That’s going to be a stain.
  159. >As you brush your clothes off, you glance at the last one standing.
  160. >He takes a step back at your look.
  161. >You reposture yourself and walk up to him.
  162. >Once you reach him, you lean in as close as you can to his face, knowing he won't try anything.
  163. >You whisper one one small sentence to him in a non threatening manner.
  164. “You guys ruined my clothes.”
  165. >He swallows hard and backs away as quick as his small legs would allow.
  166. >You follow him, saying another sentence.
  167. “You shoved me away from my drunken friend when I was helping her home.”
  168. >With each step he takes back, you take two forward.
  169. “Now, I suggest you leave. Before I get really mad.”
  170. >He trips over a part of the broken plant, and starts crawling away towards the door.
  171. >Rolling over, he races out the door and into the rain.
  172. >You look out the door as the minotaur races down the street.
  173. >Turning around, you let the door close behind you and walk back to the booth where you left Dash.
  174. >When you get the the table, you’re surprised to see a familiar face.
  175. “Hey, aren’t you the guy from earlier? “
  176. >Dash is laying her head down on the table, sound asleep.
  177. >The colt gulps.
  178. >You smile at him and ruffle his mane.
  179. “Thanks for looking after Dashie for me. I had some trash to take care of.”
  180. >”N-no problem”
  181. >You lightly shake dash to try and see if she’ll wake up.
  182. >It only elicit a groan and a small puddle of vomit.
  183. >You sigh and think to yourself, *She’s damn lucky that I like her..*
  184. >Picking her up, you slinger her over your back.
  185. >As you walk out you speak to the bartender.
  186. “Send me the bill. I’ll see what I can do.”
  187. >He nods.
  188. >All eyes are on you as you walk out carrying the rainbow maned pony.
  189. >You hear a bit of a gurgling sound then feel a wet spot on your back.
  190. >Then the horrid smell.
  191. >You sigh to yourself.
  192. >The things you do for love...
