You are powerful. You are wonderful, and you spin some of the best stories I’ve heard. It is a true honor to meet you. You, still alive. You’re here. You made it, and you carry your tribe’s torch in your heart.

I know it’s impossibly hard to accept that everything you know is gone. You have every right to be sad, to need to take your time. But I want to tell you something, Whisper-of-Night. I want to tell you something important.

Never give up.

It seems like all is lost right now. But you have the power to make it right. We have the power to set it straight. There’s always darkness before the sunrise, you know. And it seems like that dark will last forever, and that you’re never gonna be able to see. But you have a light inside you. Even if it’s just a tiny ember, you have a spark within you, deep in your heart. Take that light, and share it with the world. Make the sun rise for you.

You are a wonderful galliard. You weave tales in a way that I’ve never heard from any other, and I think the world needs. It is hard, and you’ve been gone a very long time, unaware of how the world has changed.

But you, too, can change it. You can bring back what was lost. Together with us, together with your packmates.

But to do that, I would like you to do one thing. Howl with me.

Cry your voice into the night with mine, and our packs, and tell the world that you are back, that you matter, that the Wyrm should tremble. Join a chorus that will stir the souls of the fallen Howler totems and bring them back to us, Whisper. Sing a song of fighting spirit and second chances, so much that maybe even the Black Spiral Dancers will be moved. Tell a story with all your heart, one so powerful that Tearlach Talespinner couldn’t help but be proud.

If anyone can do it, it’s you. Your voice and mine in a cacophony of determination and passion that stirs the world to tears. Bring back the voices that everyone thought was lost, let it pass their ears and tell them: You are here. You are brave. You matter.
