  1. Hi ,
  2.
  3. It's hard to catch, but Agrarian Skies has a number of really laggy problems.
  4. The main one I'm concerned about is your use of ME systems, ME systems tick at set intervals, when they lag, it's really hard to catch them lagging because they lag altogether for a tiny amount of time, which means using '/cofh tps' and '/forge tps' can miss any TPS issues. However, I did catch a 140ms spike overall, which means a mod is misbehaving somehow.

  6. There's 2 main issues with Agrarian Skies;
  7. 1) People build large networks due to the nature of Agrarian's Skies hardcore questing; ME systems, piping systems, these all add to CPU.
  8. Disconnecting each network one by one, each harvester, beehive system, smelting system, etc - can be used to find out which connected system is causing the most lag.
  9. I have made some configuration edits to try and curb back ME system's CPU use, this may improve the performance - these can be reverted easily if they cause a problem.
  10.
  11. 2) Pipes can inherit a bug on your current mod pack version with Thermal Expansion Grid Handler (viewed in OPIS - Handlers timings page) that cause it to react really slowly. This is due to items getting 'stuck' in the pipes as they try to cross over the edge of a chunk into the next pipe.
  12. Breaking the pipes can cause the lag to immediately disappear - If you break your pipes and this happens you have 3 choices;
  13. a) Install the PipeGobbler mod - this deletes items in pipes at set intervals to ensure there are no stuck items.
  14. b) Stop using any piping systems.
  15. c) Upgrade your mod pack if possible.
