	Star had a terrible nights sleep, the only thing that made her sleep well was the warmth of Marco Jr. as he slept next to her. She kept having a dream in which she was shrunk down to the size of a marble and a giant Jackie tried to constantly step on her, it was not pleasant. Star is aware that she shouldn't be upset over something so harmless as to Marco says is the coolest girl he knows and she's trying to not let it bother her but so far it isn't working. Star really values Marco's opinions of her, he's just the sort of person that you wish would see you on the street and say to you"hey you, you are awesome like legit awesome". The problem is Star just got bumped down a few tiers and she doesn't know if she's ever going to get back on top...at least that's what she thinks she's so upset.

Star walked downstairs, it was just past 7 am she didn't want to try to go back to bed for fear of the nightmare hitting her again. In the living room Marco was in his Pj's playing a video game on his PS4, he was wearing that headset thing to talk to people at least that's what Star remembers him saying it's for. She walked cautiously to where Marco was sitting on the couch and took a seat right next to him, Marco smiled at her and reached out for a fist bump, which Star happily complied. She watched Marco play his game, it was some game about being a criminal and living in a city. Star thought it was so cool and cute that Marco made his character look like him as much as he can, however she still found it jarring seeing "Marco" be so violent running down people and firing weapons and what not. She rested her head on his shoulder as she was feeling very, very sleepy again. Marco lifted up her head and placed a couch pillow on his shoulder, he's so used to Star doing that he now comes prepared. Star kept watching him play, she put her feet up on the couch and rested herself against Marco, maybe last night had all been a bad dream and nothing changed Star thought to herself for a few seconds until she saw a reminder  on the TV that nope, things are still getting very different.

"Is that Jackie?" Star asked out loud pointing at the TV.

"is that Star?" Jackie asked through Marco's headset.

"Yes and Yes," Marco said still playing his game.

Star glued her eyes to the screen, game Marco was getting into a shootout with a game version of Jackie by his side, it looked almost exactly like her. Oh great, now they can date in a virtual world too, wonder what cool things she can do in there, Star mumbled to herself.

"What is she doing?" Jackie asked Marco. The volume was loud enough for Marco to hear her but not Star even though she was just inches away. Jackie could also hear Star, however.

"Oh she's just watching me kick some ass with you" Marco replied.

Star adjusted the pillow that she was using but wasn't comfortable. "This would be a whole lot easier if you just let me lie down on your lap for once" Star added, she was already grumpy she didn't need to be agitated any further.

"She wants to what on your what?!" Jackie asked, Marco thought she sounded annoyed.

"Not remotely what you think, I swear" Marco answered her trying to re-assure her. "Star maybe you can lie down somewhere else, I'm in the middle of something"

Star squinted her eyes as she looked at Marco. "Wait can Jackie hear me?"

"Yes I can hear you" Jackie replied, she almost added "Also can you try not to cuddle with boyfriend while I'm here thanks a bunch" but she bit her tongue. And somehow Marco was still surprised when  he found out kids at school thought they were dating,

"Yeah she can hear you Star, If you ladies want chit chat I can always-"Marco began to say.

"No thanks" Star and Jackie said at the same time cutting him off.

"Ok, nevermind then" Marco replied.

Star moved her pillow to the other side of the couch, she may not be what Marco calls a rocket scientist, but she knew Jackie didn't want her that close to Marco; and since Marco asked undoubtedly to satisfy her, she will move anyways because she is a friend.

For the next hour or so, Marco kept playing and talking to Jackie. Star would watch them do things, like parachute and fly planes under bridges, take selfies and get in a tank while other lifts up the tank with some sort of helicopter. Star has never seen him laugh so hard and just be having a good time like this since...never. Star tries to play with him, but she's not very good and most of the time ends up getting Marco whats he calls rekt everytime they try to play anything involving teamwork. Star finds it bizarre as they make such a good team when not playing games, in almost every way. Star began to nudge Marco with her bare foot trying to tickle him or get some sort of reaction, Star always thought it was funny he especially hates it when he's playing games since he takes it so seriously.

"Star Stop it" Marco said without taking his eyes off the screen. But Star kept doing it, and even began to giggle, "I'm gonna get youuuuu" she said and began to poke his sides with her toe.

"Star c'mon stop it, not now" but Star wouldn't stop she kept expecting him to drop the controller and tickle her or chase her around the living room while pretending to be a monster who she then "zaps" with the wand. Same as he's done in the past.

"Star I mean it STOP!" Marco said as he pushed her leg away from him although it was more like a slap. "Can't you see I'm trying to play with Jackie? whatever it is I don't care" Marco said in a  angry tone.

'What did she do now?" Jackie asked him.

"She uh, you know she's Star she's always ready to play with me even when I'm not" Marco replied. He was starting to feel bad for snapping at her like that however, she was just messing around after all.

"Whatever, I'm going to my room if anyone cares," Star said getting up with a huff.

"Bye Star," Jackie said happily.

Marco hit mute on his headset. "Sorry for yelling at you, but listen I'm still new at being with Jackie I can't half ass our time together, please respect that when I'm with her I may not be able to do all the things we usually do,"  Marco said to Star as she headed upstairs.

"It's fine Marco, now I know, it won't happen again" Star said trying not to sound hurt.

"Thanks for understanding Star, and again I'm sorry for losing my temper I hope it didn't upset you too much" Marco said to her and with that he unmuted his headset and returned to riding motorycyles down the sides of skyscrapers with Jackie.

Star saw how much fun he was having..maybe if she...yup Star had a plan. Marco was to busy playing the game to even notice she left through the front door. About 30 minutes later Marco got a text message from Ferg, he was asking if his cousin who is visiting from Russia can play GTA with him, She'll be using his profile but made a new character. Ferg tells him that she hasn't played a video game before and won't talk on the mic because of her lack of english. Marco then texted Jackie to ask if its OK, she was delighted as she's never met someone from Russia. Ferg texted again "She says she'll just follow you around and enjoy the scenerey you won't even know she's there." Marco again agreed, with that arrangement why not?. "Tell her to join our lobby" he texted back.

At fergs, Star had kicked open the front door. She found ferg in his room modeling his awesome possum costume.

"Don't look at me" Ferg said in disgust.

"Yeah whatever Ferg I know you are wierd, anyways I need you to get me into that game you and Marco play the one with the cars" Star said in a tone that just screamed hurry.

After making a new character which Star was very impressed with. She had never heard of a cartoon called Robot Princess Bubblegum but she liked bubblegum and she was a princess, so when that option for an outfit came up she took it. To her glee they even had a way to add her cheek hearts, wow this game IS good Star thought. After a few texts from Ferg to Marco  she was in the game, granted it was under the disguise of Fergs russian cousin which he did not actually have. After a quick tutorial from Ferg she made her way to Marco and jackie inside the game world, she almost ran down Jackie with her car but it was because she forgot how to apply the brakes, oh what a tragedy that would have been.

"Wow nice roll dodge Jackie" Marco said impressed.

"Yeah I saw the her coming down the street, I thought she was going to stop but instead she picked up speed" At home Jackie sat on her bean bag chair enjoying her morning game date with Marco, she watched this girl character all dressed in pink with a tiny top hop out of an SUV after crashing it into a wall and begin to run around in circles around Marco's character.

	Jackie rolled her eyes, she probably should not had agreed to this. And whats worse she swears the player model has the same hearts on her cheek as Star does in real life. Jackie figured she is just being paranoid now, one of these days she'll have a heart to heart with Star even if it means offending her by telling her she is "weary" of her closeness to Marco but she's sure by the end they will just hug it out and be good friends. She can kill two birds with one stone, end her jealousy and show Marco that hey your best friend can be my best friend too"

As Jackie refocused on the game, Fergs cousins ran up and sucker punched her character.

"Star be careful, don't attack friends" Ferg warned her as he watched her play.

"Oops" Star replied.

"You see that Marco? That was not an accident" Jackie mumbled as she got away from Fergs cousin and joined Marco on his motorcycle.

"I bet she's still figuring out the controls, she kept running aound me for a while"

Before Marco could drive off with Jackie as his passanger, Fergs cousin ran up to the bike and knocked her off taking her place.

"Star only 2 people can ride the motorcycles, you are going to have to follow them in your own car" Ferg warned.

"Oops" Star replied again.

 Jackie was growing impatient. First she almost drives into her, then she melee's her and now tosses her off Marco's bike and yet does not do anything to Marco. Jackie knows its just a game but she was starting to get ticked, considering all 3 of them are suppose to be on the same team.

"C'mon Jackie just knock her off back and hop on, she'll learn the ropes eventually" Marco's voice came in through her headset.

Jacke made her character push Fergs cousin off the bike and she got on and Marco drove off. Star got back into her SUV and trailed them.

"You still haven't told me why you are doing this Star" Ferg asked her.

"You still havent told me why you are still in the possum suit Ferg" Star asked in return.

"Touché" Ferg replied.

	Star followed them for a while, watching them get into shoot outs and such. Star had picked up a few weapons under fergs expertise, she wondered if jackie "dies" would she vanish for good and then maybe she and Marco could do all the fun things that they were doing. Jackie however was pretty good, to her knowledge she has not died at all even when other players get near she and Marco are unstoppable.  She had what Ferg called a rocket launcher in her inventory, from his description it sounds like her wand when she puts it in Panzerfasut mode. Star was tempted but wasn't sure how Marco would react to Jackie's death even a virtual one, he would need to be comforted and shown that he is not alone in this cruel GTA world that he always has her to get "rekt" with.

Star decided agianst it, she can't take anothers life like that real or not. This game is fun and Jackie and him are really good at these sort of things. Star figures that she has to accept that slowly she will be obsolete with many aspects of Marco's life.

"Hey Marco lets go to your apartment, we can launch that first heist together just you and me like Bonnie and Clyde" Jackie asked Marco. "If you want that is, we can stay in free roam too even with that girl always staring at me, I swear she tired to shoot me once with a sniper rifle."

Marco laughed, he had almost forgotten Fergs cousin was with them, looks like she kept her promise at least around him.

"Ok Jackie, lets go I'll buzz you in"

"And just like Bonnie and Clyde.." Jackie stopped mid sentence and made her character do the blow a kiss greeting to Marco.

"Aww thats so sweet" Ferg said watching Star spy on them in the game a few inches away. Star mumbled something but Ferg couldn't make it out.

Marco made his character do the same thing to Jackie. Again Star mumbled something incoherent to Ferg.

"It also wouldn't be Bonnie and Clyde without a little ya know," Jackie said trying not to laugh. She made her character do the hip thrust taunt followed by the dock taunt which involved making a circle shape with your fingers with one hand and repeatedly sliding in a finger from the other hand in and out into that circle shaped hole.

Star turned to Ferg, who just caughed awkwardely.

"Oh my god you are you sure you are not Janna?" Marco asked laughing. "You are gross Thomas".

"Hey you know you like it" Jackie taunted back. "Now lets get going clyde"

"You got it Bonnie" replied Marco, they both hopped on Marco's bike and drove off to his apartment.

"Where are they going?" Star asked somewhat panicked.

"Looks like to the fancy apartment Marco has in the game, you can't go in unless he invites you" Ferg told her.

"Oh no..." Star followed them in the game. "This is not happening" she muttered.

They arrived at the apartment building.

"Im gonna go inside then I'll send you the invite" Marco told jackie.

"Ok I'll wait out here"

As Marco dissapeared into the building, Jackie was hit by a missile and went flying.

"Star I told you, don't hurt your friends" Ferg told her again. But Star didn't care Jackie's lewdness had to be stopped. At last it was over, now she can go back home and comfort Marco maybe from now on they'll keep to friendlier games. Star lowered her head in a moment of silence, the first life she's taken in the name of friendship sure it wasnt real but Star still felt compelled to reflect on her actions. As she did her in-game body went flying as Jackie had respawned and was now angry.

"You didn't tell me you can come back to life" Star yelled at Ferg.

"uhh I thought you knew what respawn meant" he replied.

"Marco hold on, little miss soviet is gonna get her ass handed to her" Jackie said clearly displeased.

"She shot me with an RPG while I waited for you, it was no accident there was no one and nothing outside just me" She replied.

"Ok ok try not to goo overboard we don't know for sure if-"

"Marco I love you but screw that"

Marco was stunned. Did she just say she loved him? Marco figured he'd ask another time and went to spectate the battle through the in-game spectactor mode.

For the next 35 minutes Jackie just wailed on Star. It was a bloodbath cops arrived, NOOSE, other players even showed to watch from a distance. Marco had always wanted to see a girl fight, not exactly what he was hoping for but it would do. By the end Jackie killed Star 22 times while she only died 5 times. Eventually Star quit the game, she got messed up bad.

"Yeah you better run" Jackie taunted.

"You Still want to do the heist?" Marco asked.

"Nah I'm all GTA'd out for the day, tell Ferg I don't like his cousin" Jackie replied.

"Hey I got Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare the other week, if you maybe want to come over and do splitscreen?" Marco asked her.

"Yeah sounds fun, we should have done that from the get go, I'll be right over" Jackie said excitedly and disconnected.

At fergs, Star thanked him for letting her try the game. She asked him not to say anything about her actually being here and Ferg agreed.

"Sorry I made fun of the possum costume, it looks good on you" Star replied and headed out the door. Outside she hung her head in shame and walked home. Star was not entirely sure what she had hoped to accomplish despite being so sure earlier all she knows  soon Jackie and Marco will make virtual game babies that will grow up to be really cool and awesome  and then Marco will really never have time for her.

"I knew girls would dig the possum suit eventually" Ferg said to himself as he watched Star leave.



As Star opened the door to the Diaz house she was greeted by the sight of Jackie and Marco on the living room floor. They were sitting side by side with a plate of nacho's next to them playing another game, neither acknowledged her. A bunch of the laser puppies came down the stairs.

"Aww come here guys" Star said expecting them to all crowd around her. But instead they all headed to where Marco and jackie were.

"OMG these little guys are so cute" Jackie shouted in glee. "You sure they shoot laser?, I havent seen them do it" She asked Marco.

"Yeah but mostly they shoot me, guess they like you too much"

Jackie began to cuddle and the pupies and rub all their bellies, she could not resist the cuteness. Star just looked on in shock, on friday everything her life was the same now by Sunday afternoon it's like she doesn't exist...at least not to Marco, why would she she isn't the coolest girl to him anymore even the puppies like her more. Next Marco's parents are going to throw her parties every morning now, "Happy 20th day of dating our son Jackie" Star made a face of disgust at the thought.

She marched herself upstairs.

"Oh hey Star, didn't see you there...you missed it  Jackie went nuts on this one girl in GTA it was epic" Marco shouted to her, guess he finally realized she was there.

"it really was" jackie said making a karate chop motion wihich made Marco laugh.

"yeah super guys, have fun doing what you are doing" Star replied just wishing to be alone.

"We will" they shouted as one.

Star made her way inside her room, to her surprise Marco Jr. was still here. He pawd at her leg and Star picked him up and cuddled him in her arms.

"You still think I'm cool and fun right boy?"

Marco Jr. barked in agreement and licked her chin.

Wish daddy felt the same way.
