Fighter's Focus (Alternative Fighter Fix)

  1. "Fighter's Focus"
  2. Beginning at 2nd level and every two levels after, the Fighter may gain access to a single Fighter's Focus equal to or less than their level.

  4. Arcane Focus:
  5. 2nd Scholarship - Add half their fighter level to all intelligence-based skills.
  6. 6th Arcane Ally - Gain a wizard's familiar equal to their fighter level -3.
  7. 10th Arcane Intuition - Gain Spellcraft as a class skill and receive a +1 insight bonus to saves vs spells for every 4 ranks in Spellcraft after successfully identifying a spell.
  8. 14th Caster's Bane - As an immediate action, a fighter may make a free intimidate check against any hostile creature attempting to cast a spell or a spell-like ability within 30 feet of his line of sight. If successful, the target is shaken and their action is interrupted. The fighter is allowed a free intimidate check even against hostile creatures casting defensively.
  9. 18th Spellwarded - Gain SR equal to 10 + your fighter level against non-friendly spells.

  11. Wilderness Focus:
  12. 2nd Frontiersman - Add half their fighter level to Survival, Swim, Climb, Perception and Ride skills.
  13. 6th Nature's Friend - Gain a druid's animal companion at their fighter level -3.
  14. 10th Predatory Instinct - Gain perception as a class skill and receive a +1 insight bonus to initiative for every 4 ranks in perception after successfully spotting a hostile creature.
  15. 14th Bestial Strength - Gain a permanent +2 inherent bonus to all physical stats.
  16. 18th Wild Charge - Gain an additional 10 feet movement on a charge and a pounce attack.

  18. Divine Focus:
  19. 2nd Discipleship - Add half their fighter level to all charisma-based skills.
  20. 6th Faithful's Gift - Gain access to a first level Domain power treating their fighter level as their cleric level -3.
  21. 10th Divine Shield - Gain heal as a class skill and receive a +1 sacred bonus to resistance against poisons, disease, ability damage and curses for every 4 ranks in heal.
  22. 14th God's Might - The fighter adds their charisma bonus to weapon damage rolls when wielding his deity's favored weapon. This bonus is based on their deity's alignment for the purpose of overcoming DR.
  23. 18th Faith's Favored - Once per day as an immediate action, the fighter gains a luck bonus that allows him to select the exact result of one die roll before the roll is made. This effect can alter an action taken by the fighter only, and cannot be applied to the rolls of others. This functions similar to the Cyclops's Flash of Insight racial ability.

  25. Martial Focus:
  26. 2nd Rigid Discipline - The fighter reduces any penalties from voluntary use of one or more actions or feats that applies penalties to their attack, damage, combat maneuvers, or armor class (such as a charge, fighting defensively, or using the Power Attack feat) by an amount equal to 1 for every 4 levels in fighter.
  27. 6th Sparring Partner - Gain a fighter class cohort at their fighter level -3.
  28. 10th Grip of Iron - Treat the fighter's weapons as one size category larger.
  29. 14th Readied Stance - The fighter may make an attack of opportunity against creatures entering their threatened space. This counts towards the fighter's normal number of attacks of opportunities.
  30. 18th Steel Resolve - Double the bonuses gained from the Weapon Training class feature.

  32. Espionage Focus:
  33. 2nd Infiltrator - Add half their fighter level to Stealth, Disable Device, Sleight of Hand, Acrobatics, Bluff and Disguise skills.
  34. 6th Sharpshooting - Add the fighter's dexterity bonus to ranged or thrown weapon damage rolls made within 30 feet of range.
  35. 10th Acrobatic Dodge - Gain Acrobatics as a class feature and receive a +1 dodge bonus to AC for every 4 ranks in Acrobatics. They do not gain this dodge bonus if they are caught flat-footed or denied their dexterity bonus.
  36. 14th Dexterous Flourish - As an immediate action after successfully dodging an attack, the fighter may take a five foot step and perform a retaliatory attack of opportunity or vice-versa. This counts towards the fighter's normal number of attacks of opportunities.
  37. 18th Covert Strike - Treat the fighter's attacks against opponents who are caught flat-footed or helpless, as if he had the Improved Critical feat.

  39. Ascetic Focus:
  40. 2nd Unburdened Body - When wearing light or medium armor, the fighter gains Evasion and Stalwart as bonus feats.
  41. 6th Flowing Stance - As a move action, the fighter adds half their wisdom modifier rounded down to their AC, saves, attack and damage rolls until the end of their turn.
  42. 10th Zen Analysis - Gain Sense Motive as a class feature and receive a +1 insight bonus to any of your next roll for every 4 ranks in Sense Motive after a successful 'Analyze Prowess' on a target (refer to the sense motive page in the pfsrd). This bonus is available for an hour only against that specific creature and lose those bonuses if they analyze another target creature.
  43. 14th Far-Reaching Palm - Treat the fighter's weapons as thought they have the Reach special quality.
  44. 18th Body of Celerity - Once per day as a free action, the fighter may make another full round of actions after the end of his turn.
