  1. Logos: Traffic congestion will increase by 30% over the next 30 years due to increased population. This congrestion will lower throughput and cause a lowering of regional economy
  2. Ethos: Lower Mainland mayors have both the best interests of their cities and the best information available about their cities. We need to trust their logic because they’re in a better position to understand what’s necessary.
  3. Pathos: Using mass public transit is more ecologically friendly and sustainable, as well as faster given a great enough rideshare. Currently, cars are less efficient, less sustainable, and less scale-able with increased population growth, but they still use more funding from the province and municipalities. It is unfair that cars should continue to take a larger share of transit funding across the province per capita than people who consider the long term implications of their transit method.
