Apr 28 00:25:01 <LipstickThespian>	Yuki had gone so far as to add decoration to her door, a small little sticker of a cherry blossom tree.  Cute.  Opening the door she smiled and stepped back to let Callum in.  What did she have to show him? It might have to do with the tight and exposing pop idol costume she was wearing.   The short flared plaid skirt was far too short, the white blouse was teasing glimpses of her stomach, there was an adorable little headband complete with flowers and frills.  Thigh hi stockings that were just a little sheer, little red fingerless gloves.  All together, it was a cute and flirt little spring outfit. Perfect for an autumn day in doors.  "Callum-chan!" She says with some excitement, "what do you think?"
Apr 28 00:28:31 <Knave>	There's the slightest flicker across his good-naturedly blank expression that suggests, were Callum less reserved, less subtle - well, if he were Austin - he'd currently be picking his tongue up from the floor or making whooping noises, or similar. On Callum, it's just a flash in the eyes and a twitch at the corner of his mouth. And then he goes red. "It's uhm..." He rubs the back of his head as he steps slowly into the room, "It's impressive."

Side effects of her powers, but she can wear it very well.  "I know!"  She turns and walks into her room and starts to push the clothes she was sorting through back into the box on her floor. "I think I should add a choker, maybe."

Through clumsy manoeuvring of his hands, he persuades her hair to lie over one of his wrists while he fiddles with the clasp, taking multiple attempts before getting it fastened. "Sorry. There. Is that okay?"

Setting on hand on her hip and putting the other next to her head in a peace sigh. A stereotypical idol pose to accent the curves of the body.  "Think it will turn heads?"

"I'm starting an idol group with some of our classmates.  I think if I do that, and perform for people, then I'm sure to get someone to date me!"

"I talked with him," she says going back to her phone. "I told him it was best for him to pursue the other girl he was taking on dates. So we're just friends."

Beyond offering to beat the guy up he didn't have anything, and she seemed happy with it, so... shrug, "I guess that's for the best, then." He smacks his lips, then looks up, "What's an idol group?"

"You can sit you know," she says with a laugh as she moves over to make sure there's ample room on the bed for Callum.  Or the computer chair, even.  "It's like a singing group with a bunch of cute girls in sort of matching costumes who dance around the stange in practiced dances and sing songs."

She sits up and puts on an annoyed face.  "I did that because it was the right thing to do.  He wasn't going to make that decision easily so I made it for him.  And Maria-chan is dry and not very easy to talk to.   She also doesn't talk to anyone that doesn't talk to her. So she won't get taken."

I just, really wish it felt like people wanted me around. More than just because we're in the same school."  She looks down at her thighs again.  "No one ever invites me to have lunch with them. Or study with them. Or practice with them. I'm just the same stupid girl I was back home, trying too hard for nothing."

That sort of shrill raise that is quickly deflated by the shame of raising the voice in anger.  Like that glimpse of emotion might show off too much about her state of being.  "I can't break off the engagement, I've already tried a hundred times and it won't be allowed.  Why would I want to marry a stupid boy who thinks girl's should just be housewives?"

"They raised me, and cared for me, and will always be there for me.  This is all they've asked of me for an entire life of love and care, is it so much to pay them back?"

Yuki's legs feel limp and her body seems to give out to the emotions tormenting her.  "That wouldn't work," Yuki says as she starts to cry again. "Because you already chose Cass over me."  Then the tears start, and her head gets buried in her hands again.  Saying you're over it and moving on, and actually doing so, are two very different things.

Crying in front of someone isn't something she's done since she came to the school, and ever since everything has happened here she's kept it pretty carefully under check.  "It's not fair," she says in between choking sobs.  "I could do all the things she does.  Why did you choose her over me?  I could talk dirty and-and-" it devolves into another sob.
May 01 01:09:38 <Knave>	He winces, out of her sight, gulps hard enough that she can feel him do it. "I can't be what you want me to be." He says softly, stroking her arm gently.

May 01 01:14:27 <Knave>	His body doesn't even react to the hits, but his arms tense up at the words. Then, still hugging her gently, his whole body sags with a sigh, "Can't save everyone."
May 01 01:17:27 <LipstickThespian>	"Why her?" Yuki cries out as she pulls back just enough to look up at him. "Why her?" She repeats herself through strained words. Hitting his chest again with her soft strike.
May 01 01:21:07 <Knave>	Callum shrugs, because he's no good at lying out loud. He just keeps gently hugging Yuki around the shoulders.
May 01 01:22:46 <LipstickThespian>	"Why?" Yuki cries at him as she looks at him through tear soaked eyes, "why don't I deserve happiness? Why? Tell me!" She continues to hit his chest in between her sentences, though her strength was never really there.
May 01 01:24:23 <Knave>	He breathes in through the nose, but he's already breathing too hard for it to have any calming effect. All at once he's off her and stood up in front of her, jerking his thumb towards his own chest, "I am not happiness, okay? I'm just a guy! I am trying my best!" Tears form in the corners of his eyes, but it doesn't make him look any less scary.
May 01 01:29:01 <LipstickThespian>	Then Yuki had no one to lean on, and she was sitting on the edge of the bed like a child who was trouble.  Callum standing above her and being upset with her.  She tries to wipe a sleeve across her face, fight back the tears uselessly.  "Why didn't you wait?" She says in between her fit of sobbing, "why did you leave me so quickly?"

He shrugs awkwardly, "I don't know. Sorry I yelled."

Even then, face a mess from crying and passing out still dressed. Somehow, with the way the sun hits her from the window. The silly pop idol costume she's still wearing, even her hair up in a side tail.  Somehow, despite it all, she still manages to be the same Yukihime.
May 01 02:21:37 <Knave>	Callum goes about the work of putting her to bed properly, once he's sure she's out like a light. With his usual gentle strength, he has her laid on her pillows and tucked in. "Sleep tight, Yuki." He pats her hair softly, "You.. I... Oh, just be happy. Please." He frowns at his own lack of eloquence and leaves Yuki to sleep.
